- Our last stop! we head to over to a traditional onsen town in Yamagata prefecture and experienced an authentic onsen. After a relaxing bath at night and a much-needed rest, we wrapped up this trip by climbing the 1,015 steps of Yamadera! This is the third and last part of a series that Tokyo Creative was able to embark on in this area of Japan!

Would you have tried the foot onsen? :-) This is the last video of this Tohoku series, after watching all 3 videos, which place would you like to visit most?
Ginzan. Not a second thought in my mind. It looks gorgeous, the night time makes it seem ethereal in a sense, and a walk up to Yamadera seems like a good way to clear your head as you look around at the view from above.
Didn't you ask Chris Broad to go with you when you came to Sendai and Yamagata? these places are practically his backyard.
One of your best videos yet this was awesome to watch
All of them for sure, but your videos are becoming a bit too advertisementy for me... i think you don't have to convince any of your subscribers to come to japan, thats why we subscribed in the first place!
I thought Niko was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. There's nothing i want more than to visit fuedal japan, and Niko is like a town frozen in time from the edo period! :)
Emmas pun game is strong in this video! Not sure she really was 'Soba' during filming!
Yessss we need a silly drunk emma video 😂
Well played!
The pun is strong with this one
Thanks for tuning in to this series! I had a lovely time with Emma and the gang around Tohoku
ellespazz We have to thank you!
@@guyfromantwerp no we thank you bro :)
You did the Kanji poses again!! They should become like your "thing" xD
see also my video
I loved how this video turned out! Love you natashaaaaa also love the bloopers at the end haha
You two just have the most amazing chemistry in front of the camera! Love all the content, but when you two are doing stuff together it's just that little extra :)
Tokidoki is my mom :)
SPIRITED AWAY!!! Of course Onsen gives it away and the music used as Emma walks over the path to the waterfall sounds very Ghibli to me. But anime's aside this place looks beautiful and calming even with all those stairs at the end. I hope you guys had a great time and I look forward to more as always.
Yesss! 🙌😊
Defo why didn't they just say the film name.
I agree. I can see and feel it as well as soon as the video started. I could also imagine a hint of Memoirs of the Geisha around the onsens.
The anime they were talking about at the beginning is "Cory in the House"
I definitely thought that or dragonball z resurrection F it was a toss up
I see what your talking about, yeah the're very similar
no spirited away
I'd say Spirited Away
I think it's King of the Hill.
Too bad the series is over, really loved all the videos!
Daamn Natasha, coming through with that dope singing!😍😍
Come for Chris Broad being associated with Tokyo Creative, stay to actually view Videos being uploaded.
Dito, ditto 😂
Me too.... or should i say, ditto 🤣👌
@@badplus0176 ahhh u beat me too it
11:06 Oh Snaps!!! Natasha showing that vocal range! We see you stunner!!! 😁
At 3:50 that's a shrine not the mine. The mine is further up the foot trail on the left side of the waterfall. There is also a memorial statue to the mines discoverer, a fertility shrine, and graveyard on the same footpath. I love the relaxing vibe of this place and that it beautiful hiking trails the loop into and out of the village.
At that time, they must of drank too much wine, as they thought the shrine was a mine.
Maybe they didn't see the sign.
Just came from Emma's latest video, so I'd like to wish a SUPER belated birthday to the lovely Ms. Natasha. As most thing on CZcams, my birthday wishes are a day late and a dollar short, but I hope the awesome people at Tokyo creative took care of her on her "not so" birthday.😁
natasha seems like a really cool person 😎 and emma is wonderfully quirky as always
Emma that pun was the highlight of this video. Love the series! Thanks for sharing with us! Emma and Natasha are my favorite hosts
Another amazing video from Tokyo Creative! Thank you for all for the awesome content and hard work!!!👍👍
Oh my gosh I actually laughed at the yukata be kidding me joke out loud how embarrassing lol
This is why I love Japan so much, I like natural beauty and each right region has it's Own Beauty , History, Culture, Tradition, Experience and People. I love Japan 🇯🇵❤️❤️❤️
Every single moment of this video was absolutely gorgeous and picturesque. Thanks, Emma and Natasha!
Natasha's superpower - burning away her temperature and pain receptors xD
Emma and Natasha are just 💯 at hosting so funny and entertaining plus holy damn Natasha can sing!!
The soba ice cream looks like a fluffy summer cloud, pushed across evergreen meadows by a hot summer breeze. It looks delish :p especially the sauce yummm
Omg omg you guys are such great hosts. This series, although short, has been wonderful. ✨
The old anime "Love Hina" is also based / inspired on that location. you can try watching the first episode.
George Benta ah the memories! 😀
Before seeing anything, I hear traditional Japanese onsen town and think Spirited Away of course! My favorite Ghibli movie!
Great video, as usual, guys. Many thanks.
Y'all have the best on screen chemistry! Keep up the great videos!
I really enjoyed this series I watched both sides of it and it was just awesome. I will have to add some of this stuff on my second trip to japan!
This place definitely is on my list of places I wanna visit someday. It's so stunning and beautiful!
I just looked up this tour and it looks SOLID. I really want to do the 10 day one now!
Yay more Natasha! You guys are awesome
Spirited Away vibes as soon as I clicked on the video!
Such great energy in this video 😊
I LOVE THIS TOUR!!
The waterfalls are so pretty! I can’t wait to go some day
This place is actually on my bucket list. I wanted to go there while I was living in Japan but never got the chance. Hopefully one day. Thank you for making this video. I really enjoyed it! :)
these vids were a lot of fun..please do more!
I see Natasha I watch, like then share.
Great series, I am really aiming on visiting Tohoku on my next trip to Japan. Keep it up TC :)
Natasha and Emma really do make a good duo , hoping to see more videos of them together in the future
I love this kind of video. Please make more like these.
'Kids are crazy, they might do it' xD This might be my favourite travel video you guys have done, this place looks incredible and is officially at the very top of my Japan travel bucket list now
I thought the Scenery from top of Yamadera was so beautiful. I 've been to Yamadera more than 10years ago. Good trip!
so many breath taking views!
I stayed there for 1 night last October. Beautiful place and I'll be back for sure.
I need more of these in my life.
Thanks for this series. Been to Japan twice, but for my next trip in a few years I want to visit the north. May actually use this when I get to that point.
The matching "mum jeans" in this vid are everything :P
My thought is Spirited Away 😁 Such a great video, yet again. I'm going to keep watching your videos!
Such beautiful locations! And man, I wish Natasha was my best friend. She’s hilarious!
Watching you two journey around was fun. Beautiful places you all picked, and I thibk we all know food is just awesome everywhere in Japan. But you two were fun, infrmative, and the jokes.... were.... jokes... lol Very fun time. Thanks for sharing.
Yukata be kidding me?! Lmao!! Good one 🤣 thanks for an awesome video gals! These latest 3 travel adventures has had me itching to go to nippon soon! I am considering japan post group tour, seems easy to use and plenty of tours to cater to what you would like to do!
So beautiful!! Nice video!!
It's definitely a place that is beautiful all year!!! I went in winter and it was magical :')
This channel is solid. Y’all should be blowing up with views
I can’t wait to experience north Japan, I need a relaxing break like that 🤤
Lots of ppl are saying spirited away, but to me it reminds me of the mining town in princess mononoke!!
Super cute and relaxing vid btw :)
My new fav videos 🎎
The rest of the world really needs to get on board on with onsen! Seriously, they're the best!
only a few more weeks and I'll be in Tohoku! (and only a few more decades and I might manage to travel to Japan outside the heat of summer! argh!)
Ginzan was so awesome when we were there, in the winter the road leading to it is just 2 walls of snow! Access to a lot of those other areas was blocked by the feet of snow! There was a No-Face Cosplayer outside of the big ryokan in towards the middle handing out gold candy as well!
I love Natasha so much xD
08:57 Emma's Joke
it's like facepalm but still funny
& Natasha's reaction....gold
Spirited away onsen, looked good 😃
The food looks good enough to die for.
i spy natasha wearing the mingyu tshirt :) enjoyed this video!
Regina George u know it ;) this is my fave comment :”””)
SPIRITED AWAY!
Interesting seeing Yamadera at a different time of the year. I've only ever gone during the winter when there's a lot of snow and its dangerous getting up to the top xD
thank you as Always for uploading beautifull content much like yourselfs ;*
I been to Yamadara last October and did the stairs too.
Hi! Loved the video! Thank you for showing us beautiful parts of Japan ^_^
I also wanted to ask if you know what are the approximate prices of the tours in Northern Japan because I can't find any information on Japan Post website?
3:45 What a beautiful name & sight for a waterfall in Tohoku! 😊 6:19 I know Shenmue (Sega video game) is focused more on the Chinese culture but I'm really getting similar vibes from it for some reason haha! 😌🙂 Such an amazing & fun vlog as always!! Makes me want to visit Japan even more and more with each passing day!!!
Spirited away!
Thanks for visiting Yamagata! Ginzan is so close to where I live, you must visit in winter! There's something strange about sitting in an open air onsen, naked, and surrounded by snow. Next time, please let me be your mountain guide, we have so many to climb.
Cute/cooliest vloggers / Content creatresses on CZcams 😍🤩 love you guys n gurls from this great Community! Keep it up!
It's still a dream of mine to visit this lovely city. It will happen its just a matter of when :P
2 mins and i need to put this place on my list to visit. Also Obviously your talking about Spirited Away. But it also reminds me of the old Anime Love Hina :p
I really wish one day I can go to japan and have the same experiences
What was the Ryokan called? It looks awesome! Such a great view.
NATASHA'S SHIRTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
ah i'm sad i just knew her when she already leave japan :((((
I want your guys job! I am majoring in Japanese and Media. Ill be studying abroad next year in Osaka! Hopefully one day I can make fun videos about Japan as well.
Awesome video and series you guys, this is the one onsen town I want to visit on my next trip. xD
Though I'm hearing it's getting pretty famous and crowded these days, for very good reasons it seems.
Still... I'm a bit curious about something.
Lots of people talk about Ghibli and Chihiro when it comes to onsen towns and locations. Perhaps because I've watched it too many times, for something to be like Chihiro, it has to:
1. you gotta get there through some tortuous mountain road;
2. have some sort of abandoned matsuri or street with food stalls on entrance;
3. have a long and large wooden bridge leading to the isolated onsen;
4. be a traditional kinda building like a pagoda.
Weird that you mentioned it, but didn't actually shot the perspective that looks the most like it - Notoya Ryokan. For those curious, look up for photos of it.
I mean, I know this has more to do with every single onsen and ryokan reminding people of Chihiro in general... and that the one in the movie is purely fictional, drawing inspiration from several places, so probably nothing quite like it.
But this town needs no references... it's magical particularly in winter at night.
Nice! Please work in the trip to Hokkaido soon
Definite Spirited Away vibes!
That soba ice cream sounds interesting...but I thought Emma couldn't have dairy? (I remember that from the "duty free shopping for Emma's birthday challenge" video).
definitely Spirited Away
Get the slip-on crampons when climbing up to Yamadera in the winter! The icy steps can be very treacherous on the way down!
I saw the post box at the top and wondered about the poor postman as well 😵
Great close harmony singing . It would be interesting to meet the Postmen and Postwomen who collect the Post from those out-of-the-way Post-Boxes.
I remembre seeing this area in one anime, but I can't remembre where....or the name. Place looks lovely and thank you for allowing us all to see Japan with you!
Spirited Away?
@@oryzaa378 Bingo! That's it! The night scene! Thank you!
The postman would be very fit and that view what a job perk.
Spirited away vibes
It looks amazing i wish i could go up stairs with my wheelchair.
Hey,
Just coming back on the postcard thing. I've been to Japan 5 times now and every single time I sent my postcards as they are and not in envelopes, they all got to their destinations in Ireland, France and the UK. So I guess I've been lucky. But hey it works.
Did you send the standard rectangle postcards? It's the odd-shaped postcards (Gotochi postcards) that you can't send overseas unless they're in an envelope. But I did send a Gotochi postcard as it is from Hokkaido to a friend in Malaysia and it reached just fine. Guess it's a gamble.
That would be Spirited Away I believe. I went to Ginzan Onsen last summer
Missed you guuuuuuys! ❤
Is Natasha from Singapore. She has the unmistakable accent.
subscribed for the hug the laugh friendship and tour .
definitely once night falls, its spirited away
Spirited Away!!! Whoop Whoop
I would visit Ginzan Onsen !!! It looks soooo beautiful there!! I would bring my boyfriend along!! (if I had one lol) It looks like a great place to for a romantic stay!
Also, the kanji poses are sooo awkward and funny and the same time!😂
Beautiful ☺ ♥ 🇯🇵
Before you even asked I sat here and was like “that place reminds me of spirited away”
