The small regional airport I fly out of here in the U.S. has one. It's pretty nice since with the small number of flights each day I doubt they'd pay to staff a shop but I can still buy a snack or drink while I wait for the plane. It would never work in a large airport but it seems to work ok in a small one.

This is a kind of place where I'd love to settle down. So beautiful, so cozy and quiet.
My mother, a native of Japan, grew up just minutes away from Ginzan Onsen. I remember visiting this place when I was a kid, and at that time this onsen was virtually unknown even in Japan (an NHK drama from the early 80s put the place on national notice). I don't know whether it's still there, but there were skiing slopes by Ginzan where I went skiing a couple of times.
I am a Chinese, although I need a VPN to browse youtube, I love your videos, thank you for bringing me such a wonderful view of Japan

I went to Japan November last year and had a tour for 7 days. That was the best experience I ever had in my life. I wish to go back to Japan again someday and try this Spirited away village. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Ginzan Onsen! Addded to my bucket list!!
was is snowy that time on november? if not, on which month do you suggest me to visit japan to experience the snow?
And is it necessary or recommended to be able to speak and read japanese, or is english already enough?

Spirted Away is one of my favorite animated films, possibly in the top 3 for me. I haven't seen the film for many years, but Ginzan Onsen did very much remind me of scenes in the film especially when the lights came on in the town.

元々洗練されたホテル好きな私も会社の旅行で行ってみた過去があります。当時はひなびた素朴さが嫌でしたね…全然何も感じず、もう来る事もない…と思った程です。しかし冬の景色を検索してみたら必ず出るこの銀山温泉には何故イイ思い出がなかったのか不思議な気持ちが拭い去れないです。
