JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG| Autumn trip to Tohoku | Exploring Aomori, Akita & Hirosaki

- Hi everyone!
This is my 4 day trip to Tohoku I took last year! Iuckily i was able to go during peak autumn season. Although the Tohoku region isn't that well know for autumn leave, I think it had one of the most vibrant autumn foliages I've seen!
During the trip I visiting Aomori where we checked out the famous Nebuta museum, Akita for Namahage myseum(Japanese ogre) and Hirosaki castle! We also went onboard the Pikachu train to have a short trip to Geibikei gorge.
We used the JR east Tohoku pass for this trip, which gave us unlimited rides between Tokyo and the Tohoku area. We visited 4 cities during this trip so it was definitely worth the price!

Sometimes the algorithm actually does a good job. I have a nasty habit of commenting before I've finished watching...usually when something pops in my head. The sandwich you had at 1.20 had the crust on it...not only that, you were eating it as well. I hope this will be a trend there. Cheers.

Japan is such a wonderful place! What's your favorite place to eat there? and have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. It’s my personal item bag with no checked bag fees and no lost luggage. It’s the best!

Thanks for watching! From memory there was no coin locker near the station so we had to take it with us to the gorge!
Before getting on the boat they let you store your luggage for a small fee :).

In what prefecture should we stay as our take off point to visit the other prefectures? What are the must see places to catch the best autumn leaves on display? Best restos and must try food?
