The 2019 pate swap meet was certainly a weekend for the books! We had tons of fun hanging out at the Go Power Sports booth and talking to you guys and meeting tons of new builders and friends. We were there with Cars and Cameras, Red Beard's Garage, Rather B Welding, Kart Fab, Go Kart Alley, and tons of others! Along with the insane death trap snowmobile swapped 2 stroke go karts, we also picked up a 1981 mx80 mini dirt bike! It was a ton of fun to get that thing running and try a manual shifting motorcycle for the first time!

i have a 600 etec snowmobile, it has 112 hp and is fast as shit, 10/10 would build, goes well over 100 mph and, had an insane 0-60 if you can get grip

I had a little 80 just like that. That had killer power bands. I’m 5.5 and was 110 lbs took a high bar jump and missed the pegs. Needless to say I couldn’t walk for a few weeks. Now I’m old but at 12 years old . I never forgot. Have fun with it guys.

That’s what we thought too, but it’s not like a normal bike it’s neutral all the way down and all 4 gears are up
Build Break Repeat that’s how a normal 4 speed works, on a 5 or 6 speed it’s 1st, neutral, second etc etc
great episode.......I have had a 292 single piston yamaha snowmobile engine and an old racekart with f/r discs for a project kart for awhile, so it got me excited to see a couple really rip......prolly get to it someday, lol....good too see you guys actually motivated to get schtuff done...impressive research and dedication....... many love, much props

Fun bike to ride I have the same one at my farm really fast and fun when it is tuned right make sure to clean the carb and check the float height and make Sure the reed valves are intact for more power and speed hope to see more videos of this bike

Those 80s are cool, nice find. Make sure there are no vacuum leaks at the intake manifold. 2 strokes hate vac leaks.

@@BuildBreakRepeat All you have to do is make sure to do checks before going for a drive. Brakes, steering, wheels, etc. Wear a helmet and probably some leathers, and make sure that most of the time you are on straight smooth roads.

Oil injection is on the Yamaha blaster of witch I have two of one is blown up but a Yamaha blaster is a six speed full manual with a clutch.
btw.. you put it on reserve tank.. indicator is opposite side of fuel handle.

I have a taco mini bike with a predator 212 but it runs rough. Once it finally starts it almost bogs out and mid throttle starts popping but after a few seconds it’s like it almost hits a powerband. Any suggestions?
Would do that but my snowmobile is a triple cylinder powervalve 700 putting out around 160 ponies, so it would just be dangerously fast
What sled do you claim this came from? If it isnt a built engine (really built.. not a can and pods..) you're dreaming. 140HP is about max for a stock 700 Triple. Good pipes will get you another 15-20HP with jetting. After that, you're digging deep into porting and matching cases and ports etc..

Just a thought, Maybe the oil injector is working perfectly and the pre-mix is oil fouling the plug till higher RPMs and then it clears out.. Have fun and good luck..BTW...wear a helmet next time, it is small but you still can fall

you guys let off the clutch a little too quickly. try higher rpm's and let off the clutch as you go
i got an engine kit on my bicycle recently. i learned a hand clutch and still broke the lever and cable 3 times. it was a rednecked brake cable anyways 😂😂😂
Also I'm not sure about that bike but usually up is 2nd and down for 1st and he upshifted.
I've been riding bikes since I was 12. Here's how I learned: Pull in the clutch, Drop it in to first, put your heels on the ground with your toes up. Let the clutch out slowly until the bike makes your feet lie flat, and pull the clutch back in. Repeat that about 20 times until you get a feel for when the clutch starts to grab, then accelerate at the same rate as you release the clutch.

Y'all definitely gotta start doing some high powered go-karts. Get youselves a CBR1000 or supercharged Ninja 1200 engine and sling that sucker on a homemade frame. that thing would be beyond stupid fast.

Usually snowmobile engines dont have gears. Just saying! (None have gears.. some utility sleds have hi/low range and reverse, but that's in the chaincase, not at the engine)

two stroke meanin its gonna smoke and it needs to be revved so it can go... and becareful of the powerband
Never trust the old oiling systems on those bikes always premix your gas

Or.... and this is merely a suggestion.. do maintenance and make sure everything is in spec. If it works (and likely does..) why would it last 40 years and all of a sudden need to be deleted? I get its peace of mind for most ppl... but in reality, they generally end up blowing shit up because they unhook the injection, mix gas and it goes boom. You need to rejet if you delete oil injection to stop it from being too lean. ..because mixing oil in the tank means less gas through the same size jets. I imagine you would have given that pointer if you had a clue. I'm not against removing injection.. I'm against telling ppl to take it off when they have no idea what to do next. But pull it off, mix gas and blow it up. Make sure the camera is rolling so when its posted... I can say I told you so!

Make sure your oil injection isn't connected... If you're running premix disconnect the injection

Do yourself an actual favor and read my comments before the bike is being torn down to be rebuilt because it popped.

It has oil injection and you are running mix in it ... ADUH ... Lol
