One good thing about that clayground you can step dig to do your pipe work down here in Florida we're nothing but sugar sand you are required by law to drag a cave-in structure the whole way anything over three foot deep sometimes it's hard to even if put in simple septic tank line at a couple of feet when it's dry it's like trying to pile up salt when it's wet the sides of the ditch just flop

Yea i understand that the laser will hit the shovel where your outside of pipe should be not your flowline. If your bedding add the inches to your shovel mark. I have a little stand for my topcon laser for laying storm drainage. Ive found its easier to use our laser for house pads to lay storm drain. I set both boxes put my laser high enough to see both both boxes. Set it pull a string line from box to box paint me a few marks or pin flag then we rock on.

We're in Virginia. You have to realize that sometime it takes me a week or two to get videos posted. The snow was all gone before Christmas got here. Also I live in the mountains and the job is down in the lower country even though it's only an hour away, but it makes a big difference thier temps are always 10 degrees warmer than ours.

There is a spec. The spec says to put gravel half way up on the pipe. Why waste more than the spec calls for?

Bedding. You can't get dirt packed back up under the round parts of the pipe but the stone will fill all the voids in.

You can't get the dirt packed in that small void for one and two the job spec calls for stone.
