The Day I Called it Off: Out-of-Control Spooked Horse Emergency 🆘 #emergency #horseguardsparade #kingsguard #londonwalk #royalguards #londonwalkbyukride100k #guards
I think I must’ve missed a part of this video, I’m still waiting to see the ‘out of control’ and the ‘emergency’ Maybe you should realise that horses are sentient beings, they’re autonomous not predictable lumps of inanimate material.
I have been seeing a lot of this lately. As a horse trainer and being around horses since I was 3 years old, I can tell you exactly what is wrong here. The horses doing this have gone sour. They need a break. They need a vacation so to speak. Time off for a month, or doing something completely different, would put them back to rights.
Admire yr comment...I said something similar everyone including the Guards need time off ..go somewhere warmer take off to the beach ⛱️ 😎 let the horses enjoy a swim 🏊♂️...I met a guy here in N.Z.on a business course whose a horse whisperer... when asked what he would call his business I said HORSE SENSE... Andrew now works under that name... I have no knowledge of horses but appreciate your consideration and expertise greatly..🥕🥕🐴🐴🫡🏊♂️🚣♀️🚣♂️🚣♀️🏊🚵🚵♀️🚵🚵♀️🤽🧘♀️
Uh horses have their own personalities and act according in reaction. They stand guard being polite but imagine hundreds of two legged tourists knowing nothing about them, can be aggravating. The trooper can keep them calm. Then they get upset from the idiots and want to go home, now. Exit. They did not come out of the box to dance. You probably could not comprehend the trooper managed to keep you from getting stomped even with help. That is called being out of control. The fact you would continue to stand grinning, and not move away constitutes an emergency and must be removed. Shh if this happens to you, please yell out there is nothing wrong. It might go from "emergency" to thrilling.
That's not how this works, if you let an 800kg animal decide what IT wants to do. It will become part of that horse, they will become rude and wont follow orders. Simple as that, what they will do is make sure the horse settles then take it away on their terms. Not the horses terms
In England you can't avoid rats in barns. Horses dropping grain on the ground while they are eating draws the rats in. Dirty water? The minute a horse takes a drink out of their water bucket its dirty. These horses are better cared for than most people.
ok, so why doesn't the mounted guard put his sword away to regain control? Two hands are always going to be better and IF the horse suddenly rears up and throws him with people all around, the last thing he wants is to have a long sharp sword in his hand. 🤔
Sword is there if needed. He has experience and control. If horse starts acting up, trooper busy keeping it safe. He is busy with the reins and keeping horse from stomping the tourists who wont move back for more room.
@@phyllisborchers9444 'in control'.- have you even seen the video??? 🤣'Sword is there if needed' - needed for what?? Slicing open a tourist? 😂 Amazing.
Well if needed in super emergency. Trooper may be attacked by maniacs. The worse I Can think of if the horse goes totally stark raving, totally insane. Even with extra handlers, cannot be subdued. The sword is long, very sharp and held by an expert. We know the tourists. DUH. People stand, don't move or panic and make matters worse. The sword is ready to totally END the danger. Go figure.
Tourists need to learn to move out of the way.well done by guard, troopers
Nup, horsey not gonna settle, poor baby. Well done guards 😊
I'm glad in the end you decided to let the horse go back inside just wish you'd done it after the second refusal, poor baby was so stressed out....
Does anyone else see the bees flying around? The horse is smarter than the keepers!
I can see them!
You forget the keeper must stand his post.
Could be horse flies not bees
With so many people keeping a respectful distance whilst having photos taken, you always get an idiot or two...Why?...what's wrong with you people?

why did they take down the horse may bite warnings?
Misleading video title it looks like YOU CALLED IT OFF
When a person posts a video and the title has the word "I" in it, I assume "I" means the person posting it. So yes. The poster called it off.
@@oregonwanderer he did not call anything off! He is nothing to do with Horse Guards!
horse sayas i dont want to play 3 times and keep getrting put back were he vhas made it clear he doesnt want to play????

Someone who used to work there said they had DIRTY WATER AND RATS IN THEIR STALLS AND THEY WERE ALWAYS GETTING ILL...
Someone talks a load of b/shit ! Do they look like they're badly treated ?

How do you think he's going to put the sword in the scabbard while controlling a fidgety horse ?
