- This is the moment Household Cavalry horses were spooked during a military parade. Footage shows a horse rearing after it threw off a trooper on the same day a group of panicked horses ran wild through Central London. There was commotion among the crowd as a black horse appears unsettled and moves in a frantic manner. The horse is then seen walking away from the rider - lying motionless on the floor - with an empty saddle. A medic raced to treat the rider, surrounded by other military personnel and police officers as he lay on the floor. In a heart-warming show of support, the gathered crowd applauds as the wounded rider manages to get to his feet. #horse #london #military

Not just one horse but every horse is agitated. These majestic creatures seem to be spooked by something we humans aren't in tune with.
That's what I was thinking. Then later on 5 horses run through London with blood all over them.

They see and hear things we haven't a hope in hell of seeing and hearing and the flight instinct is never far beneath the surface, been round horses for 65 years and seen even the quietest horses spook for no apparent reason.
I think they sense something dark is about. I think we’re living through some sort of nightmare. Are they waiting for the world to blow up so they don’t have to explain?

Most household cavalry horses are Irish draught bred or part bred Irish. Pretty sure war horses were spooked too.... None of us were there to witness it......
Booban, it wasn't just the building noise the other day, debris was being dropped from quite a height too. Horses have peripheral vision, and in the wild cougars or pumas can attack them by dropping on them from cliffs or trees. Yes, and how did they go into those centuries of wars with man, and how much have we been totally dependent on them until the 20th century.
Okay, something is off here. These are very well trained horses who are around large groups all the time. Yesterday three horses bolt and one gets injured. Today this.

Yup, "some thing" is freaking these well-trained horses. I've had several hoses of several breeds, and the only thing that caused them to freak or bolt was an unseen dog or trotting pasture cow. Horses, do indeed, know how to fight.
The bit is under their tongues, sadly these people are badly trained, this has happened so many times.
It is always a possibility that either lasers or high-frequency sounds are being used to upset the horses.

There is something that is unseen that is upsetting all these horses? Even long after the initial throwing of the trooper, the other horses never seem to settle down, after 3 mins they are all still throwing their heads with ears back and acting nervously. Not the small crowd, they're used to much worse.
Makes you wonder if the horses are being targeted by an ultrasound device......they can hear in ultrasound frequencies we can't.

there is a lot of head shaking from most of the horses, it can be a sign of excitement or frustration, poor animals are under a lot of stress at the end of the day.. the 2 runaway horses from yesterday are both in a serious condition and have both had to have surgery, (one of them is in the equine veterinary hospital) 😢 prayers for Quaker and Vida. I hope they both recover well from this 🙏

@marinka424 😢 I'm not sure which one of them hit the bus, I believe that Vida (the grey horse) ran into a people carrier, no wonder they were so badly injured.. I hope and pray they recover fully soon.

This is concerning. It could well be a deliberate act to spook the horses. I also note that the retractable bollards at Horse Guards are stuck, so the gate is not safe from attack by a vehicle. There is maliciousness afoot.
Does anybody remember in Britain 20 or years ago there was a horse race and somebody fired frequency via a pair of binoculars the horse was leading the race and it jumped over the railings into the crowd it was proven to be done by a frequency machine that's what's gone on here

Is it something they are hearing that can’t be heard by humans??? Does someone have some kind of device? This MUST be investigated! The other horses are throwing their heads and seem distressed.
Could be one of this electronic Mouse deterrent or anti dog barking device. We had the mouse one and my dog became restless as soon as we got rid of it she was fine.
Normal behaviour for a rider would be to get off and calm their horse as you are right they are clearly distressed.
Their gear they are wearing is too heavy to just get off quick
Theres a demolition job happening nearby and 40yard metal skips (like shipping containers) are being filled quickley with up to 30 tonnes of rubble and debris down a chute from a top floor of a building. It makes alot of low frequency noise. This was reported on the radio this morning and would explain why the horses are noticing unusual sounds making them panic.

LondonCityWalk excellent video. The troopers still mounted where very professional and went on with their way to relieve the Blue and Royals.
The Lifeguards came from Hyde Park Barracks where the 5 horse involved in yesterday's incident live.
Maybe the horse who threw his trooper was upset as the barracks dealt with yesterday's incident. All the men of the Household Regiments must have neen worried about all troopers that's the horses and men who'd been injured.

For all we know, these Life Guard troopers and horses may have been out on morning exercise as well at the time but they have to soldier on (ignore the pun). You can see the contrast been the Life Guards and Blue & Royals horses on other videos. Apart from one instance when they rode out, the Blues horses were very calm. Another Life Guard horse had a slight melt down and refused to get back in the box, not sure if that was yesterday or today though. Amazing control by the trooper.

I've noticed and said numerous times how 'flighty' these horses seem to be over the last couple of years and increasingly so. Remember one of the horses got spooked at the Trooping Of The Colour as well. Go back over the years and watch all the other 'Trooping Of The Colour'. It hasn't happened this way before. That sounds very reasonable. Either it’s something external bothering the horses, or it’s that the horses are from a different line from usual, and have a different temperament. Our Queen Elizabeth was very interested in horses, possibly more so than Charles. Maybe her input was needed in get the right ones selected. There’s no need for builders to be rude to people thinking the building noise is a problem. They are probably right.
I was in the crowd at Trooping the Colour last year. An officer's horse was spooked because someone in the audience forgot to comply with the sergeant major's request not to let the spring-loaded seat snap up in an uncontrolled way when they stand to show their respects to the colour as it passes by. The seats make a noise if you stand up suddenly and this can spook the horses.

These horses are totally uncomfortable and in unrest. What they have done with them or infront of them that such friendly domesticated and trained horses are so distressed. They are not happy and not willing to trust their trainers even.

Oh my, the trooper laying there vulnerable behind the nervous and restless horses. A terrible disaster waiting to happen. He could've been trampled. The soldier running up to the spooked horse could of set the horses over the edge.

A jockey came out yesterday and said this kind of thing happens at the races, the horses can bolt after being spooked.
This is not natural these horses are being hit with a high frequnce noise or beam something is 100% wrong.

Could someone close by be using an ultrasonic repeller? They emit sounds between 20 and 40 kHz, this would be enough to freak the horses. It seems odd, such well trained horses being spooked to days in a row.

By the sounds of it the cavalry are not treating the horses properly. From today's news:

"Those horses are so nervous. They are ready to explode. They are kept in horrible conditions". The horses would "only have exercise for an hour a day, and very little sunlight".
Concerns have also been raised by Victoria Smith, a horse behavioural expert from Somerset. She said: "… We've always known they are kept in stalls, not stables. They can't have any grazing, they can't stretch, they can't run…” - Express and LBC.

I just don't understand how jumpy ALL the horses are!! They are supposed to be trained with aggressive crowds and a lot of noise, yet here they are are all obviously unsettled, shaking thier heads. Seems standing around and having a chuck of metal being constantly pulled in your gob isn't much fun.

They need to get the police to do some training on the Cavalry horses because the police horses don’t panic and bolt in the same way at all.
Horses continually chucking their heads like this isn’t normal. No one would buy a horse that did this while being ridden. Maybe it’s time the tack was inspected. Same thing seems to bother them all. They are all presenting as very agitated

Bless those poor horses at Horseguards they have to put up with so much stress lately with hate marches literally walking right past them insulting the soldiers and making so much noise, please stop all hate marches walking past horseguards and block that road completely to pro-hamas supporters. Their negativity lingers in London, we all feel it as will the horses who are highly sensitive animals, ban them from the vicinity completely and let the horses have some peace. Hope both horse and rider ok? We are so proud of them all as Brits.
London has just generally become more stressful for them. And I'm sure they pick up on the tension and noise from the protest marches too.

Strange happenings with the horses. In my humble opinion all fodder, hay and water in tanks for the stables should have been laboratory tested.. Also investigations should star whether someone is using some sort of electronic device that's spooking the horses..

The horses were attacked by a frequency there body language change all of a sudden something went on somebody's fired a frequency at the horses.
I have detected test patterns of transmissions last summer of what I believe to be 5G ( 0600 - 0615 on several mornings ) and yesterday a strong 5G from a source for a few minutes which is unacceptable to me. I've never seen anything like it before for any frequencies and I've been involved with VHF, UHF and microwave transmitters.

I've had horses all my life. They are herd animals with a flight instinct. When the one horse tossed the rider, the other horse's acted up, creating a chain reaction. Looking at the spurs on the Calvary rider's they look quite big. Imagine someone jabbing those into your sides, which is a sensitive area on a horse.

All the horses seem unsettled and stressed! Change of feed? Something is not right not enough exercise daily? Need holiday in a field and left to chill? All my horses are well trained but if something changes or they are spooked no horse is bomb proof! I hope all these beauties get whatever is out of sync sorted soon, I can't remember how many months they have to do before a rest period but it looks to me like it's pretty close!

Horses are so wonderful. When we see them on parade or going through formations we often forget how many hours of training it takes to perform so well. A horse can have an ‘off’ day just like any person. There might be something it doesn’t like or simply something else it would rather do at that moment. Horse and rider need to be in sync for it all to work.

Seeing it from another angle, it seemed that this happened because another horse backed in to the one that dropped his rider. The horse was quite passive after this happened - definitely wasn’t trying to break free. . The horse did not buck deliberately - just tried to get out of the way of the one in front in a constrained space. I hope the guard recovers quickly and is soon back in the saddle. The horse will be fine. There certainly seems to have been something malignant in the air this week in London. So many restive horses… very unusual behaviour… hope all the injured are recovering well - equine and human. ❤️ from NZ.

I'm impressed the other horses held up as well as they did. Then the riders having to be super light with those bits and spurs on stressed horses so they don't make big movements... I'm impressed

More concerned why the rider was unseated when the animal was stationary. Any well trained rider that knows their animal will know when they are becoming unsettled and prepare so as to not become unseated.

why have they not got a procedure to capture loose horses instead of all sitting there like dummies, it is not as though they have never ridden horses before they are trained to ride them so why not have a procedure to catch one when it is loose
