Shocking Moment ‘Blood-Covered’ Horses Run Rampage in Central London

- This is the moment two runaway military horses were filmed racing through central London on Wednesday morning.
One of the animals appeared to be covered in blood.
Footage showed the animals colliding with cars and smashing a windscreen of a bus.
At least four people were taken to hospital after sustaining injuries during the incident.
The London Ambulance Service said they were called at 08:25 local time and that injuries took place at three different locations.

@@angr3819As someone who trains rides and competes horses for a living, I can assure you that it's not possible to get a 500kg horse to go against their choice. When competing any of my horses and any tell me no dad I'm not doing that today that's that, I turn round give pat on the neck a few kind words, head back to the horse box and save them for another day, whilst also thinking what did I do wrong there. You work with your horse and listen to them, you can't go out riding deaf and against them

Something spooked these horses. They go through extreme training long before they are seen in public.
From the look of their tack (saddles & bridles) & at least one without a saddle, they could have been on off duty, on general daily exercise.
The jockey will ride one, lead one, hence one not having a saddle.
The grey covered in blood could look worse than it is. They're hot, with adrenaline pumping from the fight or flight response.

So at one point there were 3 horses and one hit a bus and fell; (there's no explanation for why later footage shows only 2 horses) at that time the white horse had no visible blood; it must have had a collision at a later point and been cut, which led to the blood we see in the later footage.
The idiots who put this video together did so for maximum sensationalism whereas they could have started with the earlier footage and run it in chronological order.
I hope all people and horses make a full recovery.
And in light of world tensions these horses are not subjected to violence from British haters in light of world tensions.

well, unfortuantely, wehad this happen in Hyde park with the IRA bomb attack y ears ago.. when horses and riders died. It was utterly terrible. In additon Police Horses started to wear eye shields.. transparent masks during football violence years, many years ago.. football houligans were blinding them with darts to the eyes.. on purpose.

Some building material fell from a construction site, right next to the horses which spooked the horses. Horses are back in the barracks. Three soldiers had minor injuries. Luckily no one sustained serious injuries.

The horses used in large metropolitan areas like London are not safe. Terrible.
They are safe and this is *highly unusual. Not good to jump to negative assumptions is it?? .. Many think the horses are on concrete and never allowed to run. Unlike many Cities (especially USA) London has massive green spaces also if you Google its clear to see The Palace has land galore.
@@emmsue1053 but horses do not exercise on the lawns at Buckingham Palace. the Barracks are at Hyde Park I believe.. for the horses. They exercise them on the streets and at Hyde Park and surrounding areas there which are set up for horses specifically. They goj on a holiday to Norfolk every year as respite.. and swim int he sea and run free. Same with Metroppolitan Police Horses. They go on holiday too.
@@mariahoulihan9483I worked at Hyde Park barracks,it was our job to train these horses to be road safe and suitable to ride for the young and often novice or non riders that came to train for the household cavalry, most of the training we did was done in the indoor arena at the barracks, or the outdoor one in Hyde Park, road work was done to get them used to traffic of all kinds, noises, even dud cannons being fired, even after all the training you can NEVER predict the horses behaviour on any day, this could have ended a lot worse. Wishing horses and riders a complete recovery
My dad used to ride racehorses in the days when they used to feed them oats. Oats would make them incredibly excitable and hard to control. He hardly ever fell off though as he used to grip the horse with his knees at all times, as you never knew when they would spook. He never had a riding lesson in his life, just alot of common sense 😊

For anyone wondering, the horse had a small cut which resulted in a lot of blood, horses are vascular animals who’s veins are significantly larger than a humans, they need all the blood pumping through their bodies when in a full gallop as blood carry’s Oxygen to the brain….

@@charlesflett2818 I believe it was an extreme noise from some concreters. When they are on duty at Horse Guards they are often taken in if there is going to be excessive noise - lately it has been protestors of various types.

I’ve been tracking this event for hours now trying to get as much information as possible. Haven’t seen the actual video footage of the horse impacting the bus itself until now. Blimey, he really went right over. I dearly hope all of the horses and soldiers make a full and speedy recovery. Think the horses deserves some long time off after this.

From what I know, black and white horses have a specific meaning in the royal family; Unfortunately I don't remember which one it is now.
