    Great to see you bonding with the native animals. If you guys ever want to view more sloths in their native habitat you should come to our house on the weekend. 🍺

      We were suppose to do it March 2020 and then.....sadly it took almost 3 years to get back to the dream. Funny thing is that we weren't even vlogging way back then - so it's great we had a chance to capture it forever this time with everyone attending the wedding.

    Next time you are in Roatan Honduras, you need to look at real deal Roatan tours with JoAnn the owner. He has very customized tours that are reasonable. He even knows of some other spot for Better snorkeling. He even knows where to find good Honduras, coffee, and chocolate.

    Thank you! We really enjoyed your Sky Princess video in Roatan. We love Roatan and were there on the Sky Princess in February 2020. We recently sailed on the Enchanted Princess and very much enjoyed our Elite lounge experience in the Vista lounge. That pretzel bread is one of my favorites on board Princess. Fettuccine Alfredo is one of my wife’s favorite main dining room dishes. Your snorkel video was absolutely beautiful! Thanks again.

      @CruisingCanucks  Před rokem +1

      Usually we hit the beach there early and avoid some of the crowds, but were stuck keeping some sloths company. So it was crazy when we finally hit the beach in the afternoon. Still managed to find some fish at the end of the pier.

    Roatan seems like a port I would really like and I always enjoy vlogs from there. Hope to schedule a cruise with that port in the future. I'll be very disappointed if I don't see bacon wrapped meat loaf on Caribbean Princess next month 🤣

    Love the underwater videos. What gear are you using for that?

    • @CruisingCanucks
      @CruisingCanucks  Před rokem +2

      GoPro8 is what we use. These trick is to shoot sideways not from the top of the fish. Plus color grading on the editing software pulls out the greenish hue and adds contrast. We also slow the footage down to half speed to make it smoother.

      No charge. As long as you dock at that Carnival Corp dock - the beach is free and very close.

    Captive animals for amusement- nope!

    • @CruisingCanucks
      @CruisingCanucks  Před rokem

      The sanctuary only takes in animals that are either abandoned by people trying to keep them as pets or if they are found injured. You can Google the different facilities on Roatan that do this rehab for animals. Sloths are actually not native to the island (at least not in high numbers) - so those are neglected of abandoned by people that brought them from the mainland.
