I hate to admit it (being addicted to HAL) but that Atrium on Sky Princess is more spectacular than both Nieuw Statendam and and Rotterdam, but the main diningroom on Rotterdam is still the most fantastic public place on any cruise ship.
We often say that combining Princess and HAL creates the perfect cruise. Relaxing in a Nieuw Statendam cabana, then Dining in the Rotterdam, followed by a drink at Good Spirits overlooking the Sky Princess piazza and a brilliant show in a Princess theatre to end the night. The perfect cruise.
You will love the Edge class ships if you decide to try. They are are favourite ❤
We are 95.7% sure that we will be booking an Edge class ship when we get around the Celebrity. We can't wait!

I got a little teary listening to The Love Boat horn as I loved that show. I watched it every week.
Many years ago we took Princess to Alaska and they played the love boat theme ( not on horns) when we pulled out of Vancouver. I got tears in my eyes!
It was our first time on a Princess ship that has that horn. We just loved it.
This was my first ship. Good memories. And I recognizes some fellow crew members in Guest Services! Glad you had a great time!

It was January 2023. We haven’t sailed on Majestic or Diamond.

We saw Frank Townsend on Holland Nieuw Statendam in January and we were laughing so hard, we were crying. Glad you enjoyed his comedy. Looking forward to the next videos of this very special cruise!

Thanks so much!! We were blown away by that piazza - more so than expected. Princess treated us SO well and made for a perfect wedding cruise. It matched HAL’s classy touches and added the Princess entertainment. Close to perfect for sure.

Note : Adventure of the Seas ( Voyager Class ) coming to Fort Lauderdale “ port Everglades “ Begins may 2023 doing 7 days east to st. Croix , Tortola & Coco Cay / 7 days Western Caribbean.
We’ve only done one RCL ship but we need to change that soon. Celebrity for sure this year and we’ll have to find our next RCL adventure.

No, however I have definitely spent years teaching children how to properly wash their hands!

I was gold and my friend was blue and I didn’t notice any differences. I am not a fan of Princess showers lol.

Our first cruise was Princess to Alaska. It was wonderful! Since then we have only cruised with Renaissance, Viking and Oceania. I hear such mixed reviews now about
Princess food and service that I have been hesitant about booking. What do you think?
We had a wonderful cruise on Princess. We’ve never cruised the same lines as you - so we don’t have that comparison.

Can I ask if the smell of smoke on Princess ships is an issue for you guys?
We've heard from multiple sources that Princess ships are far too smokey/smoker-centric to be safe for folx with lung issues or allergies...
We'd love to do the group cruise, but not if it will cause a hospital trip because of smoke. 🤷
There were only two areas we noticed smoke. In the casino at night and at the aft of the ship near the infinite pool. We never noticed smoke in the piazza or promenade deck(where most activities are.) we are very sensitive to smoke as well - so if it was noticeable then we’d know. Never noticed it on the Caribbean Princess either.

It's tough having medical needs others don't respect (food allergies, Celiac, smoke issues, mobility, etc), or worse they ridicule.
It is so rare to find someone honest, respectful & willing to help out.
