Happy anniversary! New channel member here from Connecticut. We have just booked our first cruise ever for Alaska on the Koningsdam in May and of course I have been watching quite a few cruise vlogs but your channel is my favorite, you guys do a great job filming and I appreciate your honest thoughts on things.

Aside from the drinks and going to the lounge, sounds a lot like a typical day at work. Now get 10 hours of rest and do it all over for three more days. Looking forward to watching your Alaskan Cunard adventure.

My only question is Why?

Ok guys….those pastry pies are not pasties with a long a but pahsties with a short a elongated a sound. The long a version is those little tassels certain adult entertainers wear and twirl off of certain bits of their anatomy.🤪

This journey felt as if I was watching the long, lost sequel to Planes, Trains and Automobiles, just without the trains. Nonetheless, i’m glad you made it, I live one hour away from Toronto Airport so this flight for me would’ve been just about getting on the plane. You two definitely have a lot of commitment. Makes sense to me - it definitely pays to be flexible with your routing! Back when Air Miles used to be calculated by distance to destination, it cost us only half the miles to fly Thunder Bay-Toronto-Sault Ste Marie than if we stopped in Toronto. And this summer our kids flew Detroit-Vancouver (direct on Westjet) because it was cheaper than Toronto-Vancouver. Looking forward to seeing where you went in Vancouver!

I am curious, why you went east to go west? Why didn't you fly west to a larger airport so you could then get to Vancouver? Unless that was the cheapest option. As a fellow Canadian, I am always trying to get the cheapest quickest option.

I’ve recently retired from a school job to make room for better times for travel, which we are in the process of doing. We love watching your adventures and appreciate the genuineness of your vlogs. Happy anniversary! We have an AIRPORT LOUNGE question. We have a new Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card that allows us access to airport lounges. I know you have a different card that also has that perk. We noticed on this blog you were in a Delta Sky lounge. Does your card allow you access to the individual airline lounges?

Gosh what a trek! It will take us about 13 to 14 hours to get all the way from our home in Sussex England to New York hotel including transit either end on Tuesday. With all the plane changes I’d be worried about the bags keeping up with us. Glad you made it with everything and had a shot at celebrating your anniversary on the way.

3 flights (one international) to get from one place to another in the same country... That's the frustrating reality of travel in this huge (and sparsely populates) country of ours.
