I show a simple way to make a pvc pipe rod holder for bank fishing. The material I used for this build is a piece of sch 40 1-1/4" pvc pipe. I mainly use this pole holder for catfish off the bank can also be used for other types of fishing where your pole needs to sit still. I used v sticks until I learned to target big catfish and had a rod or two jerked in the river. Anker those rods down y'all!
Them big catfish will take your pole if your not watching it.
its easier to cut a stick with a v in it as a rod holder at the bank fishing i only use rod holders like that for beach fishing the old stick has worked for me for 30 years for catfishing but this is a great ideal beat's paying for a metal rod holder at wally world
I used to use sticks with v in them. PVC in the ground helps keep everything organized beside the water for me an everything out the way
Old school stick want hold up around here I need to make something heavy duty that will lock down my rod the Blues and flats channel's try to take off with your pole 😂
These simple pole holders work if you can get them on down in the ground. I've had no problem catching 45-50 pound flatheads with them.

@@Southernwildfin yea that's my damn problem is getting past the rocky ground at most of the spots I go few places I can get rod holders in shouldn't keep me to far from the water I'm using a Berkeley big game rod
