Apologies regarding the Green screen issues, I forgot that if I show anything that was green in colour would turn see-thru. Oh well, you live and learn.
Denim brings so much memories. I used to own the deo in my early teens. And my dad’s go to as well. Old spice is another classic, I think this is like a baseline cologne for barber shop fragrances. So is Brut. Boy nostalgia! This list put a smile on my face. I kinda called the Cerruti in my mind. Imo...Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is a worthy topper for sure. Loved the picks!
Oh The PARFUM !! I really like the barbershop type scents and there are different types, I know it’s not for everyone though. Thanks for stopping by. 👍🏻
GrizzlyBear831 I cancelled the order as there was no delivery date, so they might have shut down with covid-19, I will try to source it from elsewhere otherwise it might have to wait until this crisis is over.
I see a few i like and others i never heard of but will have to try soon, i like brut, drakkar noir and also the paco rabbane and azzaro..theres one i love thats called Boss number one, lots of ppl say its for old ppl but i wore it yrs ago in my twenties lol and didnt care what ppl thought about it, i just loved the scent so much. Great video and cool background, keep it up!! 💙💚
Oh The PARFUM !! Not tried that Boss number 1, will have to try and find it. I think anyone into fragrances can wear what they like when they like and if you are a confident person you can carry anything off. Some younger people might consider some of these too old school and associate them with what their dad or grandad used to wear. But that’s fragrance association based on your own scent memories.
@@Scentualise definitely ! I wouldntve said it any better. U nailed it! Oh u must try Boss Number one asap and if u can find an old batch that woule be fantastic!! I still have like 5ml left in my bottle that i bought in 2013 😅 i dont spray it anymore i just smell it off the sprayer..
Some great oldies Barry I do like barbershop scents nice and clean I used to wear Paco Rabanne with brylcreem on the hair no need for it now lol last time I had a shave in a barbers was in Marmaris proper cut throat job amazing 👍🏻
Russell Kerr yeah, the Turkish barbers, I remember my Dad having a video taken of him in Kusadasi having one of those, they were burning hairs off out of his ears and nose and all sorts going on. Quite amusing to watch, not so to have it done 😂. Ahhh Brylcreem, that takes me back to my Teddy Boy days and trying to look like Elvis, John Travolta or Shakin’ Stevens. Those were the days.
Scentualise It was some experience the flame treatment and threads burning hair and pulling it out only cost £1 never been so well groomed on a side note I live in Scotland but have two sisters that live in Redditch are you near there it’s a nice area 👍🏻
Scentualise I went to the zoo once and Merryhill shopping centre still waiting on my eau de missions but I have gotten Perry Ellis 360 red amazing for the price the wife was quite happy when she seen the bottle until I told her it was a perfume lol👍🏻
Russell Kerr 🤣🤣🤣I can see why she was gutted. Zoo is about 1 1/2 miles away from me, we go occasionally. Merry HELL is ok, though I prefer going to Brum when fragrance shopping cus they have Rackhams and selfridges and I can get my nose on some niche while I am up there. I do find the odd good deal at Merry Hill in fairness but I always play the shops off against each other to get the best deal. Still, online fragrance shops are still better.
Good Video matey. I feel that the old school aftershaves are timeless classics a lot of the new ones seem a bit sweet for my liking. I remember Drakkar Noir from the 80s ill need to get some for old timesake. Old Spice always reminds me of Christmas as i usually got some as a present. Nowadays, i use Denim or Woodspice from Marks and Spencer in the daytime and Aramis or Acqua Di Parma if im going out at night.
Martin Young that’s the second time in a few days that someone has mentioned an M&S fragrance, I need to take a look at those for sure. You can pick Drakkar Noir up for a good price if you look around. Love Aramis and Denim. Which Aqua Di Parma do you have?
@@Scentualise definitely try Woodspice Gentleman from M&S. It's only comes as an aftershave balm or a body splash, but its fantastic old school juice, with amazing depth for a cheapie and an interesting herbal spicy quality that almost strikes me as perhaps oreganoish. It's also very familiar but I can't figure out what it reminds me of, give it a try!
My most favourite genre of fragrances! Have you tried Dunhill for Men, Alfred Sung Sung Homme or Milano Cento For Him? Rive Gauche by YSL is sort of a softened Azzaro but is discontinued. Great clip!
@@Scentualise Yes they did, and that is the one I have. I didn't get the opportunity to try the cyclindrical can early 2000s version. I find it a gorgeous scent. I believe it was discontinued a year or two ago and indeed I can't find it anywhere online (apart from auction sites). I dug out a list of fragrances I wanted to try and one that I wanted to ask if you had tried was Versace L' Homme?
Fragrance Enthusiast no mate, not tried that one, that was mid 80’s right? Shame about Rive Gauche, maybe a sample site might have a bottle and I can buy a decant.
@@Scentualise i reviewed it & it's on my channel ! I even did black label by mayfair ! Cheerio & stay safe Ps black label by yardley has been discontinued! But black label by mayfair is available
stuart george I am desperate for one as I normally get mine done every 2/3 weeks. The pictures are actually from the Barbers that I go to. Great people in there and I bet they have been hit big time as the majority are self employed.
@@Scentualise im in constrution and employed and on goverment furlough scheme, yes i tend to have haircut every 2 weeks ,i have some hair shavers clipers might shave it off myself or wife lol
o yeah got eu savuge parfum coming tommoro didnt have 100ml so got 50ml i have sampled it ages ago in debahnams in telford , il let you know my full wearing thoughts on it saturday or sunday
Apologies regarding the Green screen issues, I forgot that if I show anything that was green in colour would turn see-thru. Oh well, you live and learn.
I will get better with time.
Clubman is extraordinarily popular in the U.S. and is the standard against which all other aftershaves are compared.
Love these!! Cant beat a bit of old school classic barbershop!
Matt PocketScents Gotta love them. A fave genre for me.

The Fragkenstein yeah, the old classics, had a few more since that list like tabac, blue stratos , jovan musk and quorum. Waiting on hai karate too🤣🤣
Idk how i didnt get a notification for this one, watching now ! 😊 ..funny i was watching a video with similar topic just last night, a few videos 😅
Oh The PARFUM !! I really like the barbershop type scents and there are different types, I know it’s not for everyone though. Thanks for stopping by. 👍🏻
Like a trip down memory lane 😜 great list mate
Jon Snow Cheers Jon, appreciate the support.
Great video man, can’t say that I know all them, currently I only have Old Spice but I’ve also tried Brut and Drakkar Noir.
GrizzlyBear831 I am a big fan of Barbershop type scents, they aren’t for everyone but if you do like them then you should definitely check a few out.
Scentualise actually I’ve been curious about the Bay Rum scent, so when you get it do let us know how it holds up agaist this ten.
