The spaceship in the beginning featured his passion for space, etc. He was hired by a government and continued to work there for a good bit. The blood came from failures from manned rockets. The government not caring whether or not casualties took place, made joji angry. Him not liking this, he decided to take the rocket to space by himself. He engages instead of ejects, thus bringing him into space, where Sanctuary takes place.

It has like a connected story, This looks like the first one in the timeline, He works as a scientist can be an astrophysicist. The blood in the visuals represents that they're failing and Joji knows that he is responsible of those things so he decided to go to space alone.
Then the song sanctuary was taken in a spaceship, gimme love is like the prequel of it on why he went to space.
Then his song run was a terrible dream while in the spaceship.

Theory: His passion was to create that spaceship. He moves up ranks and gets awards for his intelligence. Around him he witnesses all the governments terrible practices and corruption. He watches people get murdered and die from the unsafe practices. In the end, he decides to hijack the ship because he was the genius who created it and he doesn’t want the terrible government to have it.

nah, there was alot of human and bloodtesting that joji was doing himself, plus the ultraviolet lights wouldnt be needed for a spaceship. pretty sure he made a virus or smth bc the garbs n stuff.
I'm pretty sure it's about a dude who starts off with good intentions but his passion escalates into inescapable obsession and he's swallowed up in the pursuit, going beyond the bounds of reason only to ultimately fail, but having resigned himself to the consequences. He made his choice and he's living (or dying) with it. with full prior knowledge of the risks.

A theory I have is that he was lower in the ranks and killed others to move himself up higher and he became obsessed with his own desires and took the rocket for himself
My take on this is that the quick snippits was how Joji "created" his career in all the snippits from CZcams. If you watch his stuff it is very similar in chaos and direction. The blood could be symbolic on how hard he worked for it, but also he stated he was in a really bad place back then. The rocket is his career, and the people yelling for him to stop is actually his CZcams fans saying don't change, stay on the ground! Do more Frank videos!
The ending sequence of the Eject or Engage is him possibly having doubts of just either ending his career of going all in, you can see him push the throttle up saying this is what he wants.
That's just my take.
Yeah Joji is done with Filthy Frank, I know people are still trying to connect him and his CZcams career but NECTAR has nothing to do with that, his In Tongues EP was more of his CZcams career but NECTAR it’s about a break up song, Gimme Love represents a fast moving environment, the person you love is going somewhere else in life and you yourself are stuck, but when you’re gone just make sure to give me love is what it means, NECTAR is Joji making his own lore for once because BALLADS1 had music videos but majority of them didn’t even connect and they were just for the singles

This is a prequel to his other videos, it’s his origin video. He was human. Can’t wait for the video that bridges this and sanctuary, he must take off and use the tech he discovered on earth that made his employees bleed from their ears nose and eyes, that tech will take him to an alien world and make him homesick on his spaceship, the one we see in sanctuary.

The eject is a feature on shuttles in case something goes wrong, they'll eject the top of the rocket to save the crew, which he decided not to do.
The countdown was time until the shuttle started to re-enter the atmosphere, where the shuttle would burn up and break up upon re-entry.
My theory on the songs are in - Gimme love - there’s a purple substance that’s radioactive - causing all the blood and deaths of jojis colleagues similar to the purple stone in Sanctuary . then joji settles to go to space and find answers for the purple stone and ends up finding aliens and a crew some how in sanctuary - at the end of Run he finds himself he needs go back and ig the stories continues

The blood is due to work with dangerous waste the scientists are being exposed to. At the end he hits a button that says engage to blast father off into space. He passes out as the timer counts down to engage.

I just think he designed rocket fuel that promised reaching outer space and back however it has/had drastic biological effects such as internal bleeding up to deformation and deterioration. Him making the rocket was a risk he wanted to take however before testing the rocket the government and others found out the dire effects launching the rocket word have on the Earth and it's inhabitants. So that's when joji flees, cuts off his passage and continues with his spaceship knowing that he is going to cause the deaths of others including the lady at the beginning who appears to be his significant other and the song describes how he's made his mind but he's asking for love from the woman who left him because she knew he was going to cause disaster. But that's just what I think
theory: There was probably some disease killing people and his patients were dying
