Another awesome island noir that I’m enjoying today. Thank you so much for sharing!
I am in love with Mari Blanchard. I love you Mari.
Wow Mari Blanchard, lex barker and glen langan! What a great cast of b actors
Yes, and FAR surpassing any 'so-called' A-list actors of many years now.
Great film and a well known seasoned cast in this black and white movie classic which I hadn't seen before: 'JUNGLE HEAT' (1957) Lex BARKER, Mari BLANCHARD. The film studios sure don't make interestingly honest and relevent stories like this today. I really enjoyed the film. Thanks for posting it!
Glad you liked it!
The Hawaii islands are such a beautiful a gem to see through the scenery in this movie from the past
That ending gave me the chills!
Love all those movies with Mari Blanchard.
Mari BLANCHARD was beautiful.
Indeed she was also. Also very talented.
Now she's just a skull. With a rotting corpse. Sad what we turn into
@@kirkwatstien6979 I believe she was cremated.
@@kirkwatstien6979 You must be fun at parties.
I believe she was in McCLINTOCK..
Later married some film exec. She got pregnant. He already had several kids and
(allegedly). harangued her until she aborted .
Shortly thereafter, internal disease and died far too young. ('hope I am accurate!)
The character played by Blanchard is almost entirely superfluous. Just as well she's a nurse and can keep offering to help.
great movies man, thanks for sharing
Glad you like them!
Thank you!
Starring Lex Barker with music by Les Baxter.
Nice movie. 5 🌟 ..
✌ ☮ always.
Looks really good can't wait to watch it after I study piano
In the 1950's there was a Readers' Digest article, 'I spied On Pearl Harbor For Japan' - words to that effect, by a Japanese national who spied on Pearl Harbor from surrounding hills and reported American naval ships harbored there. We hear a lot of bleeding hearts for the Japanese internment and I'm sure nearly all the Japanese-Americans in California were loyal American citizens (I know about the Japanese-American Nisei 442nd Army regiment that was the most decorated in the war), but it only takes a few to be effective spies. When you get bombed like Pearl Harbor it's the Americans' call on what to do about the Japanese nationals along the Pacific coast. Those internees were not treated like American prisoners in Japan who did slave labor and many died. Hawaii was ripe for Japanese subversion; the natives largely hated us for exploiting their islands and the Japanese probably could have captured the whole islands and held them with cadres of natives in trained military units. I was stationed in Hawaii in 1965 and many of the natives still resented if not hated us. It's tough about the internment that is treated like a war crime by anti-American apologists.
@@esltogo6898 Starting the war in the first place was a bigger crime
The most unfortunate part was Roosevelt allowing the bombing of Pearl Harbor to get us into the war.
Thank you very much but I've handled drinks and guns before! classic
I love those character introduction lines. "Roger, can't you forget that you're an expert on territorial relations?" This kept me smiling until Dr Ransom put a lighted pipe in his shirt pocket! Or his holed fuel tank miraculously healed itself!
You missed him putting his chewing gum in the hole, look again!
I'm just watching for Mari Blanchard. Beautiful, sexy and talented, shame she didn't make it past the B movies.
Yes it was and sadly, she passed away at age 47 (cancer)
Not the best of movies, simply a stepping stone for Lex to pay the bills, preparing him for his eventual screen magic part as Old Shatterhand in the German Winnetou series. Just like Charlton Heston was born to be Ben Hur after a string of stepping stones, Lex Barker was born to be Old Shatterhand.
Both were blessed with amazing faces & physiques.
Lex was born to be a "wandering hand" as Lana Turner found out.
Mari Blanchard was a stunning, sexy beauty!!
She was indeed. I'm a big fan of hers.
The film is called Jungle Heat.If you look via youtube it gives you all the details plus allows you to watch it instead of via the thumbnail.
1957. I kept thinking this movie would be 1947.
One to ten, I would give it a three. Tribes?? Not that I ever heard of. Heat? Not so, humidity yes. Only "heat" day that I ever experienced was downtown in Honolulu in August. Having read and studied Dec 7, closely it can be said that there were a lot of Japanese spies prior to that date. Especially in the Pearl Harbor area.
Movies are not supposed to be total realism, if you want that watch the News.
LMAO
Ha Ha Ha!! ...and fairly balanced and unbiased.
Even the news isn't that real.
@@thankthelord4536 A million thumbs up!
Ughhhh I’m glad they didn’t show it😮 it kinda fills like what can happen again !! 😢
McCrea should wear a white sheet over his head!
Gooey stuff wrapped in seaweed.😂
Not crates that fell, pallets.
MBs husband is too obvious. Loud mouth who telegraphs his intentions. Ill check in again as i see more. Oh wait, the rifle shot at the start was pointed at the house and made a sharp R turn to hit the guy. Thats some rifle!
can u pls uplod No Place To Land 1958 mari blanchard full hd
The white shirts stick out like a sore thumb at night.
Yes. They were dressed for the occasion!
What the heck is she going to his cabin for. Out of sugar maybe. hahaha
Filmdates Nov. 1956 Kaua'i.
Mari always plays the role of the adulteress
Seductive looks gets you typecasted
He sure butchered up the name Kauai??
several times
"Curiosity and idle hands are the cause of all labor disputes." LMAO damn what a time capsule.
Wrong timeframe for an M-1 Garand.
Mari and Lex had the looks- right?
Yes.
Ja
I wasn’t crazy about this movie not at all🥴
B movie.
Oh this is so goody-goody with magnified graciousness in the Japanese home, which changes nothing. I've been to Japan and in their homes and they're some of my favorite foreign people, in fact actually my favorite. They're fine people that were misled by the military regime that ruled everything; read the history and get the facts. I'm obviously not speaking out of negative prejudice, it's just that the facts of the Pearl Harbor attack, which I believe Roosevelt provoked, are the facts and that is what must be taken into account when the exigencies of sudden war arise. And yes, I know about the Japanese atrocities in the war that were mainly instigated by Tojo who was hanged for them.
Goody for you. I'll pass.
Wow...show us on the doll where the bad USA touched you...
🤔
I agree…same for the Germans.
DIDN'T MARI HAVE BLACK HAIR????????
Nice crisp and clear copy. Too bad it was so boring. 💤
Mari Blanchard was given one lousy name, should be Marie DeBlanc, Blanchard is more like a name for an attorney, or a Dry Cleaning Biz
🤣
Indeed not really fascinating or it should be nature and Maric Blanchard is walking through the jungle as if she walks on the catwalk. All a little overdone and unreal. unfortunately.
After reading about what Lex Barker did to Lana Turner’s daughter, just the sight of him turns my stomach. 🤢🤢🤢🤢
Lex Barker was a low-life!
Was his son that "Wheel Of Fortune" guy?
No such thing as being a little racist.
Man, this movie is ALL KINDS of racist! And anti-labor organizing, to boot! Odd that such an anti-asian, anti-hawaiian movie was made at this late a date. Only two years before Hawaiian statehood, this definitely seems like someone's idea of anti-statehood propaganda. Not very entertaining, but curious, to say the least.
AUSTRALOIDS, MONGOLOIDS, CAUCASOIDS
......are they all required to be silent and walk on eggshells?
S'posed to be a previous reply, but YT isn't showing it. Hmm.
SCARY ENDING!
