Barclay changes horses at the ranch of Karen Galt (Dorothy Malone), planting the seeds of romance before following Tanner to a mine shaft where the stashed loot is hidden. I was born in 1950!! As a little girl I watched as many westerns as I could. I had two pistols and holsters and red cowgirl hat. Now I’m 73 and watching more westerns. Thank you for this movie.
I LOVE your story! I'm a generation back as I'm 56 (2023) but I too had a whole red western get up as a small kid and I wouldn't go to bed without my hat but I couldn't have the guns in bed. LOL.
I was born in 1949, still good stuff!
❤
My nine brothers and sisters all had a good laugh looking at a picture of me at eighteen months standing in the back yard gate in my diaper, cowboy hat and plastic sixgun. Circa 1959.
life is a gas
Do you still have the hat?
I am from Bangladesh. I love to watch western movies. Awesome scene, cow boys, outlaws, Bank robbery, revenge, western righteousness...wow just awesome.
One of my favourite westerner. Love his movies. Watch them over and over, better than today's Hollywood craps.
Very good observation! Today, Hollywood spews nwo propaganda and remakes old movies with special effects.
Yes Scott was a gentleman. He never expressed obnoxious views of black and native Americans like Wayne and Walter Brennan. He served in World War 1 in France born in Virginia but called North Carolina home.
These old westerns are great. They can't make westerns anymore !!!
Yes
I agree, also they just can’t act anymore ,everything is based on sex or big explosions and bloodshed.
😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣
That’s because they don’t allow you to shoot the bad bad guys anymore! Anywhere and everywhere.
You should add more exclamation marks if you want us to believe you. Like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😴!!!!!!!!!😴!!!!!!!!!!
I've seen Morden day Westerns. But nothing can beat the old classics. and good actors.
It's Funny watching modern Westerns...You can tell straight away the actors have NO Horsemanship and look so clumsy on a Horse...Most of the actors in these old Westerns you can tell they really could Ride
ESPECIALLY THOSE BASED ON LOUIS L’AMOUR STORIES!
Classic westerns from the 40s and 50s are the absolute best !
Westerns were so much better then. The simple camera angles are what makes them.
Randolph Scott, Forest Tucker, Dorothy Malone, a quality script and scenery, it doesn't get much better than this.
RANDOLPH SCOTT, ONE OF MY FAVORITE WESTERN ACTORS.
He was an accomplished ballet dancer 💃 ... really
I am a Randolph Scott fan, going over to just Westerns was the best move he ever made.
Great actor and he loved his family very much.
I have both of the books his son wrote.
He talks so loving about his dad and how understanding he was.
What we see today is not acting they should look at some of these old films, maybe they could learn something.
Rest in peace Randolph Scott ❤.
The man best known for sleeping with Cary Grant
@@kazamshah4543 Never proven always speculated and after they both died.
@@kazamshah4543 No credible evidence of that. The claim was made after both had died so no one could sue. The witness had a strong motive to lie. Unlike you I am not prepared to call Randolph Scott's son a liar when he says the rumors were false..
@@kazamshah4543 Billy Flowers was rumored to be Donald Trump's lover. You cannot judge people on unproved rumors.
Mr R Scott is here !!!! That's enough...Sure a great movie.Watching his movies is a pleasure.Thank u for postin. A fan from Algeria..Happy times all.
I love these western movies...all part of what I grew up watching.
Thank you for sharing it.
What a fantastic movie! The two fellows may have been on the 'bad' side, but they were brothers in arms. We didn't hear about Randolph being a Nevadan, until the last scene. I would love to watch this movie again.
Great movie! Forrest Tucker was a great underrated actor. Thanks!
F Troop killed his movie career.
Randolph scott, always great movies
I love Randolph Scott enjoy his movies very much !!!💞
Scott,s westerns are the best...
Randolph Scott.. back on the usual horse thunder LOL.. I was waiting for that. He loves that horse. In all his movies😀20:39.🐎
I noticed that, he always rides that blaze face sorrel.
Randolph Scott, one of the very best, ever.
Did you know Randolph Scott was gay? I hate who I am for telling you this, but as a result, I cannot watch his movies. It's just how upset the Biden administration makes me feel because his whole cabnet is cluttered with people who have checked the boxes when it refers to minorities, or weirdo's.
@@harrysurtees8710 seriously? You are a very narrow minded little person.
@@harrysurtees8710 This is not true.
not true at all. @@harrysurtees8710
He lived with Cary Grant for years .
Randolph Scott. It's worth watching.
Films like this are SO much better than the woke dreck being served up by the so-called "entertainment industry" these days. Well written, superbly acted and the cinematography is over the top.
Do you suppose Mr. Scott would be behind the "woke" movement today if he were still alive? I believe he would have been, and if you are interested in why I say that, comment on my comment'
Here girls were girls and men were men.
H😊😊h😊e😊😊
Amen to that
You don’t even know what woke means 😂😂😂
I just finished the movie for the 100th time, and every time it leaves me wishing I could have been there with them.
Randolph Scott legend of cinema..
I'm impressed with how much story was told--without a word of dialogue--just during the opening credits.
We loved this western. Plenty of action, twists and turns. Thank you for sharing.
I LOVE this channel- thank you!!! Love Randolph Scott movies and this is one I missed! Keep em coming partner!!
The WRs gave me chills. The coverage was 🔥 🔥🔥
Very good old time western...
Great movie and very entertaining . Dot Malone sure was pretty and good cast of actors that played in many other movies . Thanks . Nice way to enjoy a cold February night .
❤Thank you, I love these beautiful Speddti Westerns cowboy movies ‼️ THANKS-again ‼️🤔😊 bring more please 🥺 Aloha Thursday ✝️ and Friday ✝️👌😎.
You can watch these classics over and over
Me and my father loved watching the westerns, he and my would call The stars out by name and that's how learned their names. I still watch them to this day it was a time when respect was not found upon it was something that you earned not demanded.
Great movie! Randolph Scott a great actor. Playing with lots of Depth. Illustrating that people have shades of gray, shades of good and shades of evil. Possibly meaning for people on the left and on the right. that no one is all bad, but have different degrees of Evil. Good reason to pray for our opponents on the left and on the Right. Very Good movie.
Excellent. Thank you for posting this.
Dorothy Malone absolutely beautiful here!!
Here and everywhere. Did you ever watch, "The Big Sleep" (1946) with Humphry Bogart and Lauren Bacall? The woman in the bookshop is a very young Dorothy Malone (before she became a blonde). You can find a colorized three minute clip of the scene on CZcams. Just search with the movie title and date.
GREAT MOVIE, BEAUTIFUL PRINT, ENTERTAINING, GLAD I SAW IT. THANK YOU.
What a star Randolph Scott was.
Doesn't get enough love. His movies kept getting better.
Shame he's best known for sleeping with Cary Grant

Randolph Scott was the real deal!
Nice movie.. Nice story line And some moral sense in the prisoner's mind.
Randolph Scott , good movie good actor I like watching westerns. I hope to be able to watch many more before I get too old, so keep them coming .....
This is when actors knew how to ride horses. No fake camera shots.
Good movie worth watching. Thanks for sharing.
Another classic, thanks !
Yes he is great
This is my third Randolph Scott western today, and have enjoyed them all! From bad guy to good guy is superb acting. Setting up to watch a few more starting now!👍🏾💯🙏🏾🙏🏾👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😎
Yes I collected all his movies and enjoyed watching them.
He was the original action man. Harrison Ford is like a modern day version
Love all Randolph Scott;s Westerns. Wish he had made more of them.
s
It you rich they wants it if they can't get it they kill you to get it.. . That's a great western.. REST IN PEACE Scott, love ❤ all your movies
5 🌟 Peace ✌ ☮ always
Always a pleasure to watch my beloved Westerns.
Give me old classic anytime
Great movie, I've watch this so many times I've lost count.
Yes, one of the best Randolph Scott westerns I've seen. Maybe the best. The scenery, as others have said, was very striking and well photographed.
The best Randolph Scott western was 'Ride Lonesome' (1959) with Bonanza''s Adam - Pernell Roberts, and classic western bad guys James Best and Lee Van Cleef!
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll try to find that. I've become a Randolph Scott fan over the years.@@Paul-lm5gv
The guy was doing Harrison Ford before Ford was even born. He even looked like him.
thanks for giving the back ground info like TCM does its so great to know some back ground & history, ..locations are in the famous owens valley up near Lone Pine, Bishop & Independence Ca, what a place to hike & camp & if your into snow Mammoth Lakes is just up the road go & get buried its deep in winter time up there hot springs all over the valley as well.
An enjoyable western thanks for posting.
There allot of great western actors. The likes of Randolph Scott and Gary cooper . all great and wonderful actors
Another great Randy Scott Flick. And, typical of his movies when he's in charge (Scott-Brown Productions): the hero gets beat up some, the good guy always wins, and no kissing the leading lady (in deference to Scott's wife). Finally, Tucker's my favorite bad guy in Scott's movies. Somehow, I've missed seeing this one all these years: it was a great first-time view. Thanks for posting.
Film fantastico! Western di alto livello!
Forest Tucker co-starred in a lot of Randy Scott's films. Mostly as a bad guy. 👍👍⭐💯😀
He makes a good bad guy.🤣🤣
Great Westerns with Great Actors!...❤❤❤
Holy smokes exclamation point! Man, CZcams Just dishes up some I can't believe they're great.
I hadn't seen this in quite a long time! I forgot how great it was!
Great Movie Thanks 4 Sharing .
Thank you for this great western film, thank you!
Abandoned mines always suddenly cave in only right where people are standing.
Well, often where and when people busy themselves knocking out the props.
I like a few of John Wayne movies but he couldn't hold a candle to Randolph Scott he is the best no one can come close
Randy was good, very good, but Wayne’s “Red River”, “The Searchers” or “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” were absolute class
Oh man! My two favorite western stars: Randolph Scott and Jock Mahoney!
Excellent movie🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Superb classic western.
A very fine western. Thank you!!!
Excellent 🎥 thank you

Lyrics
Well, he walks out in the arena
All dressed up to the brim
Said he'd just came down from a place
Called "Highland Rim"
Well, he said he came to ride the horse
The one they call "The Brute"
But he didn't look like a cowboy
In his Continental Suit
We snickered at the way he dressed
But he never said a word
He walks on by the rest of us
As if he hadn't heard
A thousand bucks went to the man
Who could ride this wild cayuse
A meaner horse was never born
Than the one they called "The Brute"
The horse that he was looking for
Was in chute number eight
He walked up very slowly
Put his hand upon the gate
We knew he was a thoroughbred
When he pulled his sack of "Dukes"
From the inside pocket
Of his Continental Suit
Well, he rolled hisself a "Corley"
And he lit it standing there
Blew himself a smoke ring
And he watched it disappear
We thought he must be crazy
When he opened up the gate
Standing just inside was
Fifeteen hundred pounds of hate
The Buckskin tried to run him down
But the stranger was too quick
He stepped aside and threw his arms
Around the horse's neck
And pulled himself up on the back
Of the horse they called "The Brute"
Sit like he was born there
In his Continental Suit
"The Brute's" hind-end was in the air
His front end on the ground
Kickin' and a-squealin', tryin' to
Shake this stranger down
But the stranger didn't give an inch
He came to ride "The Brute"
And he came to ride the Buckskin
In a Continental Suit
Well, I turned around to look at Jim
And he was watchin' me
He said, "I don't believe
The crazy things I think I see
But I think I see the outlaw
The one they call "The Brute"
Ridden by a cowboy
In a Continental Suit"
"The Brute" came to a stand-still
Ashamed that he'd been rode
By a city cowboy in
Some Continental clothes
The stranger took his money
And we don't know where he went
We don't know where he came from
And we haven't seen him since
The moral of this story:
Never judge by what they wear
Underneath some ragged clothes
Could be a millionaire
Everybody listen
Don't be fooled by this galoot
This sure-'nough bronc buster
In a Continental Suit
Thank you.
Marty Robbins, they don't come any better. I love listening to Marty sing that Continental Suit.
Hahahahaha! I could imagine the music.🎼🎼🙄🎶🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎼🎵🎵
Bu kadar uzun ve saçma bir yorum görmedim
A young Dorothy Malone before she went blonde. She was a quality actress.
In almost any other decade, I've felt she might have become a big starlet. She had the misfortune of being in the same decade or so as at least three of the greatest and most elegant actresses in cinema history.
I love Dorothy Malone.
Great western film. 🤗
I enjoyed this one... Thanks for Sharing
I like Randolph Scott alot but my favorite of all-time will always be John Wayne 🌟
At least John Wayne was not gay.
@@harrysurtees8710 lol 😂, not for nothing but you have a valid point 👍
@@harrysurtees8710 I like Scott better because he was. I really don’t like you Harry. You are a nasty little bigot.
John Wayne 80 western films
Randolph Scott 60*
Frank Faylen , the older brother barking out orders to his dimwitted younger brother, had a 42 year career in films and TV. He is perhaps best remembered as the father of the title character in the 1950s-60s popular TV sitcom 'The Many Lives of Dobbie Gillis.' He appeared in almost 200 movies!
Oh also remember him as the cab driver in It's A Wonderful Life!
Great movie..ty 4 the upload
Great movie 🎥 ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The very best - Randolph Scott
Good movie. Thanks so much.
good western story enjoy
🎥🤠🤠🤠👧🎁
I really like Randolf Scott, he's grown on me, so to speak. I've probably seen this movie twice, but it's worthy of a 3rd watch, and I'm not really one for even 2nds.
Wondrous western wonderfully made in Wonderland I wonder.
Great movie, thanks.
bon film,merci beaucoup
That actor who played mr cole was in the classic tv series Playton Place i think. I recognise the voice instantly
He's coming back for his horse.
Yep, horsey style.
He's coming back for the love of his life - Cactus the horse!
It gets real lonely out west sometimes.
And other things
Tucker and Scott friends in the end. Thats a new twist. Usually Scott kills him in the end. McCready still always the bad guy. Good western!
Forrest Tucker was tired from being beat up by John Wayne
Thank you. Westerns are the best. Most people don’t know what they are. ❤
Thank you!!
Well I thought I had seen them all, but not this one, Thanks 😃
Maravilha de filmes desta época muito bom !! Brasil 2023/02.
Nice warm, fuzzy ending.
They've Doing It For Randolph Scott!!!!
The best tribute ever.
Great show!!
That was a good one for 1950
Love, love, love it.
Thanks for sharing it! I always enjoy watching Old Western Movies though. 👍👌👏

Thanks Again Though.
OMG, who saw the escape coming at 3.33, what a surprise.
Thank you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💋
So it’s Friday night at the AWOW Theatre and they’re showing another Duster. I got my Sarsaparilla (Root Beer) and a big tub of popcorn. I found the best seat in the Theatre and the lights are turned down low. My wife just asked me if I was twelve. “Why yes, yes I am.”
Yea a brilliant film, thanks. M
