Trini Lopez 1937-2020. Have been a fan since 1971-72. Too much to say now, so just enjoy & appreciate everyone's world-wide comments here & elsewhere. Got to meet him 2x, in May 1999 in Laughlin, NV when he did a 2x niter @ a casino & again, in Palm Springs, CA July 2001. Oralee Walker with him both times, a great & supportive lady & human being. Much earlier, saw him 2x nites in 1 week when he played @ a " revival" engagement niteclub in Framingham, Ma next to where I grew up, probably October 1974 thereabouts. Suffice,the human being/ voice/ guitar/ audio-visual memories will survive, & abide evermore,always...
