My Track Coach Audrey Patterson ran in the 1948 Olympic in the 200m and took 3rd place for the United State ! But Because she was Black no word's are ever mention ! I also made the 1972 Olympic Team !!! I had a wonderful Coach that was like a Mother to a lot of Girls of all Races , Rich and Poor !! In My Book She was My Hero!!!!
What is your name if i may ask? I went to Munich last year and i payed a visit to the Olympic park. It was quite impressive and beautiful to say the least, but kind of disturbing to know that on the last few days of those 1972 Olympics the Israeli team lost most of their team in that very same place.
Fun fact: when she came home after the '48 olympics she got.... a bicycle.
9:41 I think Jesse Owens deserves more than Carl Lewis this title in terms of numbers, Olympic gold and leadership
she was a great example of a winner
love your videos!
