What's with all the stupid graphics? It didn't add anything to the video except annoying distractions.

A semi-automatic 9.9 seconds - as Hart and Robinson had run in 1972, in the USA - was at that time in most cases better than 10.14 s; it was rather a 10.0-something with full-automatic timing (remember Hines ran 9.9/10.03, before the Olympics 1968). But Borzov ran 10.07 in the 1972 Olympics’ semifinale.
Hart or Robinson might have won the 1972 final; or Borzov.

This is the worse explanation of the entire story.

This entire production does a disservice to an Olympic legend... Utter garbage to speculate, they missed their race.
Borzov won the Gold in the final and became a legend. 🥇🥇🥈

Why wasn't Rey Robinson on the 4x100m team that won gold? Even through Eddie Hart missed the 100m final due to the scheduling error, he did win a gold medal as a member of the relay team... yet Rey Robinson was not given that opportunity.

    Ironically it was in Munich
These two men had ran 3seconds faster that the eventual winner did on the day which was 12+ seconds
    No coincidence

The best performance of an athlete is seldom that of the medal competition. There are lots of cases where the record holder does not win the gold medal. The only way to really know is to run the race

The event schedule was changed and Eddie Hart, who had ran better times than Borzov all year long, wasn't given the updated schedule. So he was still in the Olympic village as the race was happening.

However, watch the 4x100 and ypu will see Hart toast Borzov on the anchor leg.

Americans also get disqualified in the relays, due to not practicing the relay exchanges. Americans also get DQd in swimming relays for jumping the gun.

Allan Murphy The U.S.A. Vs U.S.S.R. track meet 3 months later and both Americans destroyed Borzov. In the 4x100 Robinson was 3 meters behind Borzov at the handoff pasted Borzov and beat him by 3 meters.
