When sterling k brown name appeared I got emotional because we lost the amazing john spencer. Don’t get me wrong, sterling k brown is fantastic but no one can replace john spencer.

I absolutely adore the West Wing theme. Walden managed to capture the same spark into his theme that only John Williams usually can, yet this version is somehow more spectacular!

I actually learned yesterday that the musical phrases in the song are borrowed from Taps, which is why it basically sounds like it could be the national anthem.
I was stunned when this started. Very soon I was bawling and had to pause the episode to regain myself. There is something affecting about music, and to see Snuffy treat this beloved theme so tenderly added another deep dimension to this special, among so many others. He carried the episode to us with reverence for its message. This team knows how to present ideas and ideals. Bravo.
I come back to this from time to time. I also broke down a bit. This song, this show, brings me back to a simpler time when the world moved just a bit more slowly, when our relationships were measured in smiles and hugs, not likes and retweets.
Was close to tears when I first saw this. And they played/added the final chord for the first and last time ❤️
This was a beautifully done rendition, as it fit the moment so well. The beginning was so soft and tender, like a small glimmer of hope. It symbolized how long the show has been off the air, and how different America has become since.
Yet, as the piece progresses, the instruments fill the space with warmth, like an old friend greeting you again, even if it's for the last time. What's more, you see these cast members as the older and closer friends they have become to each other.
And as it all ends, that crescendo of audio followed by that soft and careful finish reminds us of this show's vision: a hope for a better American politic , if we keep fighting for it.

These observations were incredibly on-point, and have finally given voice to the unique emotional experience that long-time fans of the show can feel when listening to this. This was so well said that I wish there were a way for me to follow all of the comments you've ever written so I can read them all. If you have a substack or something, I'd love to see you plug it.
Watched this video a hundred times and it still invokes such emotion.

The fact that they got all the main characters and Sorkin was writing it showed how well the show treated everyone.
It's November 7, and I love this theme so much more now.

President Bartlet. The best President America never had. The President America deserves. I miss the West Wing so much, but with all great things they are only here for a fleeting moment then they disappear in the sands of time
Listening to the beginning of this reminded me of coming home to visit my family, or visiting my best friend in Maine. A slight rustic twang on the guitar as I drive thru the October woods of Maine to his house.
Such a phenomenal cast; so nice to see them back to get together again for a brief moment once more.
It’s so hard to produce a smile these days and this was all I needed to get through these strange times

I've been thinking about this for months. I very badly want a high-quality version of this to be sold on iTunes or Spotify or whatever. Does anyone have any ideas for getting in touch with the producers or Snuffy to get this sold? Sell it for $5.00 for all I care -- I just want a digital copy of this on my phone so I don't have to keep pulling up a CZcams video to get the feelings that arise when I listen to this song.

The boys protecting Bartlet in a movie setting did a better job then the real boys protecting the real president trump. I was expecting the secret service to lift trump off of his feet and carry him off whether he liked it or not, as was the case in The West Wing. So i was stunned when i saw the footage of the attempt on trump. Those secret service agents that failed to do their jobs need to be put on desk duty.
