"Asteroid City" should have been nominated just like any other Wes Anderson film
Anderson is sure mastermaker in production design
Easily the most aesthetically pleasing film of the year. Beautifully shot.
Should have won Cinematography too.
I love the steampunk genre
Is so unique and underused
Finally UNCENSORED clips! Yeah
What do you mean by uncensored? That they finally show the video footage of the films?
@@alexcninjagotuber yes
@@alexcninjagotuber Oftentimes due to copyright disputes, the AMPAS Oscars channel had to halt at still images for showing the nominations. Heck, if the telecast showed clips from the winning film as the recipients made their way to the stage, this channel had to crop out the movie clip, making the winners’ walk to the stage look pixelated.
This movie was straight-up Terry Gilliam
and approved by terry himself too (he attended the premiere in NY)
The correct winner. Loved seeing poor things sweep. Including best actress
it did not exactly sweep though. It won many awards

This movie was so gorgeous to look at with beautiful sets. Steam-punk done right
Barbie may have had an advantage, but I'll be honest, we already saw everything before in both the sets, however Poor Things the way in terms of production as new scenarios, gloomy and very much in line with the director's vision, immerses us in his world. And it surprises me that it cost less than Barbie and has that great production design.
Super deserved Poor things and also costumes
(Sorry Barbie, you only deserved a better song because the truth is it's very good)
Go yourself
The production design of Poor Things is absolutely mind-blowing. Congratulations!
1996
Poor Things should have won Best Picture over that three-hour snoozefest titled Oppenheimer.
That style mixed between an ancient era with a futuristic and surreal one is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in a movie.
"Poor Things" definitely deserved to win, its sets and locations are masterful.
Congratulations!!!
Deserved awards! The "challenge" was between Poor things and Barbie!
WELL DESERVED!!!
I was rooting for Barbie on this one, but this result is understandable given the fact that it had more Oscar nominations and Margot Robbie wasn’t nominated best actress.
Barbie was far from my favorite film of the year, but I really felt it should’ve won Production Design
Well deseverd
Asteroid City should’ve been nominated, but whatever. Poor Things- great win for Production Design. ❤️
Barbie still better than
Beautiful film! Tho I didn’t care that much for the film.
How does work🤔
@@savvastoynoysidis360 It was pretty. Thats it.
Another year of snubbing horror
Fixed version is
Best Production Design
Barbie
Oppenheimer
Society Of The Snow
Godzilla Minus One
The Boys In The Boat
Winner Barbie
Get a life kid
@@Gavin48 ok you win
My mom’s a HUGE FAN of Poor Things, that she wanted Poor Things to win everything.
Barbie production better than that garbage
Nah, Poor things is very great, it's something new. While Barbie is just... Pink
@@RodneyDollar i don't wanna hear anybody refuting this man's comment..a mother being pink is, well... not a lie
LMAO keep crying
@@tthemonsterrsays your face
@@RodneyDollar I’m fine with four wins for my favorite movie,it’s you who still throws tantrums
