@@laurentiumanolescu They literally CHANGED downtown Los Angeles to make it look exactly like 1969. The storefronts, neon signs, cars, everything. There was no "stage" for the exteriors. Quentin is a purist. This film deserved the award.

Absolutely deserved it. They turned an ENTIRE SECTION of Hollywood back in time to 1969. No green screen, no cgi, it was all done for real. There is and was no competition when it comes to production design and that’s the end of it.

Diego Pisfil JoJo Rabbit has really good production design especially the battle but it didn’t deserve to win. The production design in Jojo Rabbit is no where as good as Joker, OUATIH and 1917. JoJo Rabbit and Parasite should have been removed and replaced with Joker and Knives Out.
