I grew up in Suwannee and it’s a great place other than the fact that there are not many good schools. Which is why I have now moved to Buford. So, for anyone who plans to move to Suwannee I would like to say that I would not move there if you plan on great education. I hope you found this useful.
Thanks so much for your reply! That's odd though, as North Gwinnett Schools right here in Suwanee are rated 9 out of 10. Buford definitely has amazing schools so I'm sure it was the right move for you and your family. I grew up on Suwannee but I moved away in 2015 to Marietta!
Marietta is a beautiful area as well! I love the town square there!

@@oscarvado1211 great community but we have a large amount of violence considering out small population but if you just dont get involved with drugs or crime you wil be okay
Thanks for your opinion! That's strange though as I've lived here for my entire life and never seen any "large amount of violence" that you reference. Also, if you look at the crime statistics from the county it shows Suwanee as being one of the safest places to live as well as Suwanee being rated in the top 10 places to live in the nation for many years.

@@ashleylazarian yeah dont get me wrong its a great town with a wonderful sense of community and i love it here always nice to hop down to lake lanier for a day on the water and on the way back you can get a nice beer at stillfire
