Coupoe of things: this draft is loaded with QB prospects & at wide receiver. It’s going to be fascinating to see it play out & see if any big trade ups happen.
Now the top 6 QB prospects are divided into two tiers: Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels & Drake Maye make up the Tier 1 prospects & the Tier 2 prospects include Michael Penix Jr, Bo Nix & controversial prospect JJ McCarthy who is considered a fringe Tier 1 - Tier 2 prospect. Spencer Rattler sits atop the rest of the QBs in Tier 3 & is considered the best raw QB prospect with tantalizing potential.
We all know scouting & the draft are difficult & inexact. These Mock Drafts seem logical but rarely go as envisioned because teams view prospects differently. There may be a lot of QBs who go at top of Round 1 but we all know history tells us some Tier 1 QBs will be busts & maybe 1-2 or all of the Tier 2 & even Tier 3 QBs become very good NFL starters & possibly become better QBs than the higher rated Tier 1 QBs. Brock Purdy is a recent noticeable example.
Anyway, can’t wait for the draft! It’s going to be fascinating to watch it unfold. Hope my NY Giants get Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze. Let’s Go Giants!🙂👍

So is it making the layups and not necessarily having to be able to do special things that makes a winning QB, or being able to “carry a team?” Kurt said both, but they seem discordant.

Kurt makes a great point. The Greatest QBs never had all those special abilities.\, Brady, Warner, Bradshaw, Manning, Elway, Marino and on and on.

Bless Pat's heart, but he does ramble a bit, which tends to hurt the interview. For instance, he mentioned Kurt's movie, which I would have liked to hear Kurt's comments on, but he he made it into a long monologue and never let the man respond.
Michael Penix is a top-level rookie with a high chance of not being a bust. The guy throws with high accuracy, check the Sugar Bowl between Washington Huskies vs Texas Longhorns.

I think Kurt should reach out to Aidan O'Connell people's all down on him because of his skill set but the greatest show on Turf had the same skill set at quarterback and this is coming from a lifelong member of Raider Nation the greatest show on turf was the most entertaining team I've ever watched

J.J. has major bust potential written all over him. I don't get why a lot of the media is scared to talk down about him. Even Warner just now looked to quickly move past JJ when he realized he said something negative.
There's so many people that are homers for him, each QB does sure. His followers just seem to have bigger platforms and maybe that's why others are scared to point out the obvious... He has mediocre tape, and bad tape vs top competition. I just dont see him doing well in the League
Jayden and Caleb have the biggest bust potential 💯
JJ has a National Championship with very few losses in his entire career. He played to the teams strengths which was running the ball and defense but he also made some crucial plays during the playoffs.
I've got JJ as the 4th rated Qb. I personally wouldn't draft Caleb no.1 but since he is highly rated by most still put him at no.1 Caleb, Jayden, Penix, JJ , Maye, Bo Nix.
The hype for Maye is just smoke and mirrors. Maye might drop to lower 1st round?
Because their agents pay the programs to hype up these guys.
My gut is saying a QB draft by Payton in Denver or to the Vikings will be more successful than Caleb in Chicago....and not because they will be more talented.
