Olu Fashanu played on the Gonzaga team too. DMV had a lot of rep in the draft, Caleb, Olu, Chop, Corum, kris Jenkins, marshawn Lloyd, and Michael jurgens to name a few. Not sure there's any QB out there, college or pros, who throws against his body when running to his left as well as Caleb.
The environment that Houston maintains with precision and skill games that make fine movements better is healthy and good fun. Not everybody has a wife and kids and Houston just happens to be a younger team so I like the environment that they have to be honest and when they end up becoming champions some will look back and redirect their own thought processes.....
If Bears mess this up I will have no words for them 😂😂
This is their chance to really make some noise, Caleb couldn’t be coming into a better situation. I don’t necessarily think they’re gonna have a lot of success right away but after he gets a full season under his belt they could be a scary team

Poles trading Justin to a place he can compete for a starting spot (despite taking lesser compensation as a result) resonates with active / former players - they like that kind of doing right by the player if you have to move off of them
Study study study, then study some more. Then work with your receivers and get on the same page when certain favorable situations come up.

The Bears have a better receiving core, but the Texans have a better O-line. We have Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard, the best pass blocking tackle duo in the NFL. We also have Shaq Mason, one of the best guards in the NFL.

We draft Caleb Williams first overall and all of a sudden on this show you guys say he has a good offensive line, I'm 50 years old and the Bears have never had a better than average offensive line, if I were to guess Rex Grossman had the best overall line of any bears quarterback in my lifetime

Yeah my critique of CW is that he plays hero ball a little too much. Part of it is because he is so talented but he can be a little too overconfident and there are certain things he could do in college that he won't be able to get away with in the NFL. So he may need to become a bit more disciplined and take the easy check down much more often. If he can improve that decision making he might be scary good though.

Stroud is a beast from the pocket accurate and can read defenses some things that can’t be taught just saying Williams has a major problem that division Detroit is firing on all cylinders GB is starting to show signs he’ll be in direct competition with JJ in Minnesota so he all ready will have that pressure 10 fold my only other question is he seems like a pouter and he doesn’t seem like a leader he seems to individual time will tell
Not everyone gets the type of coordinator that CJ got. He’s a stud but it’s easier to trust your coaching when you have a of such quality that your bottom 3 in poor throws and still have a great year. Nothing against him, it just goes to show having great coaching, blocking and weapons is the most important aspect to a young QB. Poles said it himself

1) Don't pay too much attention to what the media and some fans will think of you. They'll love you one minute and then crucify you the next.
2) Be you and set your own legacy. Some compare Mahomes to Brady, others compare Lamar Jackson to Michael Vick, and Lamar to Caleb. Take your time to be a great quarterback. You have many years ahead of you.
3)Get together with your new wide receiver team mates and have your own private vacation getaway where you can workout and bond together.
4) Have fun!
For the coaching staff:
Don't throw Caleb to the wolves. Let the backup quarterback start the season while Caleb can come in on some offensive plays. After 3 or 4 games, let him be the full time starter from then on. Mahomes didn't start until the last game of his rookie season and Lamar didn't start until the 10th game his rookie season.
