Tubliss + Mousse + Plews Tough One Extreme Tyre = Moobliss (Ultimate Hard Enduro Setup)

- The #1 question we get: Should I run a Tube, Tubliss, or Mousse. In this video we combine all 3 since Tubliss technically does have a tube. We love this setup because when done right, the Tubliss system is the 360 degree rim lock allow you to run a stupid soft mousse or half mousse and even some air if you so choose.
This is a fairly expensive setup the first time around. However, you don't have to use a new mousse. In fact, an old mouse is preferred. The purpose of the half mousse is to protect the Tubliss system and provide something to ride on should you puncture the tire. Tubliss will last forever if setup correctly and the mousse can last a few tire changes.
I'm currently testing the Plews "Tough One" extreme enduro tire. I'll have a review on this tire shortly.

Awesome tutorial, can I substitute whiskey for beer?
We don't judge!
Been running this set up for about 12 months and it's hands down the best of all options. Bloody good tutorial on how to install with some very important info that everyone should know... couple of steps apply to any bike related installs.
That makes sense using the tubliss as a rim lock. Lube the tubliss system often and change the tubliss tube at least once per year to eliminate tubliss failures
I've been using the same high pressure tube for years! Use the grease that's linked in the description, take care with rim and tape prep and they last forever! They are cheap enough to replace though...
Nice to see you back
Good to hear from you my friend! Have you been riding?
@@PrimalEnduro Haven't stopped sold 200 bought 300 and a 200 factory trials all betas
@@louisdoucet1498 My entire group now has trials bikes, we ride them every Wednesday, and Enduro bikes on Sunday! You should join us.
maybe we can hookup
Hey nice idea! I thought the same for my rally motorbike, do you think the high temperatures will create some problems to the mousse for the fact that is not lubed completely like always? Grate video 👍
No reason you couldn't lube it completely. In fact I do put lube in via the low pressure valve after install. It spreads itself and is easy to add more later!
The other benefit of this set up is that the tubliss liner will stop water getting inside the tyre and washing out the lube.
Never thought of that, but you are correct!
Heineken......always a good choice!🍻
The top extreme enduro guys like billy bolt are running 6-8 rim locks with a drilled small soft mousse. I bet it works similar to this but is a nightmare to install.
Plus this will hold air if you desire!
Goes great with everything!
What are your quick thoughts on the ProTec? I'm too impatient to wait for the video 🤣
Don’t have it yet! Looking forward to trying it
@@PrimalEnduro mine arrived yesterday. Planning to install in the next couple weeks.
@@Jrod_FPV Looking forward to your assessment!
Good for weekend, but not for race, 2 rim locks is OK for hardenduro
it's good for a race if you prep the Tubliss correctly. Usually tubliss failure is from friction on the high pressure tube.
You forgot the link for the dielectric silicone grease.

I could do it in 4, but I like to finish the whole 12 pack! Thanks for watching!
The voice in this video ruined the whole video, the beer drinking part was a waste of time
drinking beer is never a waste of time, the voice is up for debate! Thanks for watching!
