Billy is a class act. He let Ted take the spotlight and didn't even take a solo himself. That's why I like the Rev. Gibbons, because he's such a gentleman.
Randy Brackett I don’t think he wanted to trade,Ted was on fire,I’m a much bigger fan of b gibbons but nuge was on fire,he must have slaughtered a polar bear earlier that day
That Elvis song turned into a Ted Nugent song pretty quick when he took lead. Unmistakable sound of the Motor City Madman and ZZ Top mixed together like a marble rye loaf. Beautiful.
I am am I what do you mean two Great guitarist on stage there's three of them. I saw the bearded Brothers of the Blues in North Carolina when I was there. That was back in the days when they release the Fandango album.
Ted's always been a notes per second guy and Billy has always been a notes per minute guy. Both are great guitar players in their own right and I like both. Great to see them all still around when we are losing so many of the old rockers.
I heard some early Top bootleg recordings a few years ago and was surprised at how Billy was going for it. He became a "notes per minute" guy, but he wasn't always.
ZZ Top work together as a unit so well. Adding more fuel with Ted, well they rose up from the same musical highway, so they have some great common ground to jam from.
I was a young kid in the 60's and I saw the Amboy Dukes on TV. I'm an old man now and never got a chance to see Ted live. But I still remember that TV show.
I seen Z.Z. top before they had beards. :) I seen the Amboy Dukes in 69 on the steps of the Detroit library. It was a radio station called WABX free concert. What a concert!!
@Bob Hoffman Cool story, Yea WABX was a free form underground radio station. No format the DJ's just played what they wanted. I went to the station. It was a tiny little area enough room for a couple turntables and a wall of a bunch of albums. It was the competition to Windsor's CKLW which was the King of radio in that area. They would play whole sides of albums not just 45's like CKLW. Not like today where the DJ's have a format and can't play what they want and play the same shit every day. I haven't listen to the radio in at least 20 years because of that. Take care :)
@Bob Hoffman You must of lived in the Detroit area I grew up in Windsor. Yea I remember W4 and the WRIF. Windsor had a FM station too called CJOM. It was great till they were forced to play a certain amount of Canadian content and they said Fuck You and closed up shop. LOL
@Bob Hoffman Yea I'm 64 and I look in the mirror and it shows my age:) Too much your from Taylor.I used to get weed from their then have it smuggled over the river to Ontario. Now it's legal here I can get pounds of Kush delivered to door after taxes of course.
@Bob Hoffman Too funny now weed comes from Canada into Detroit. The customs in Detroit are THE worst in the world. I've been hassled by them many many times. Their worst then cops .I've talked to people that have traveled world wide and said they have never been to a border so Bad. It's absurd Uncle Ted is being denied induction into rock-in- roll HOF due to leftist politics. We know he is more than deserving of that honor!!! Uncle Ted rocks!!!
He's in MY Rock and Roll HOF, and of course should be in the actual one, long ago. Leftists are the most close-minded, bigoted, freedom hating little tyrants this side of The Taliban.
I never said he could play...….hahahaha. Lets see, i'm 65 and he was playing with the Amboy Dukes when I was a lot younger. Give an old man a break, will you be jamming on stage at 70...I hope you are.
Ted having fun. I love Billy, but every time Ted is on stage, he owns it. He rocked it. Proving once again that he is one of the most over-looked guitarists ever.
Wow.. i already commented... but this is worth my time i watched this at least twice..and there it is.... awsome...... if the rite one don.t get.... ya......the left one will.....need i say more.... have a good day again....sorry i just felt the need to express my pleasure... with all that.....
David Wilson you can’t take a gun into a Nugent concert. He’s a 2nd amendment guy in everyone else’s workplace, but not his. Typical republican hypocrite
Joe Schmoe Because they were the ones doing it back in the day when it was popular and the current generation has their head up their ass and completely abandoned rock and roll for that garbage rap music.
Ted talked about this gig on a live stream he did with Billy G. The little 35 watt amp you see @2:18 is what Ted's playing out of (mic'd, of course) , against Billy's wall of amps.
ZZ and Ted on stage together, that's awesome.

He was a Damn Good Bassist too ...
Not flashy, but big & bold & solid a la Charlie Watts, Ringo etc ...

Billy is great, but he can't rip like Ted. Woulda been cool to see him throw some bluesy licks in though.
None of these men have anything to prove and they know it they are bonafide rock stars all over 60 lol
and don't forget more famous as well.
@@hinjurock right, billy is waaaaayyyy better. More notes doesn't equal better solo
Yes Nugent......one of the best but most underrated lead guitarists in rock & roll.
AMEN
JUST SEE HIBERNATION.
He was hardly underrated during the 70's.
@Chief Blacksheep I'm pretty sure you understand the point being made.
Oh bologna.....
What? No one ever underrated Ted. Live he is all that is rock and roll guitar.
My two favorite guitarists on stage together.
Too bad the jam didnt take longer
yeah ! Uncle Ted rocks the house !
Great solo from 1,06 - 1,41 !!
He still is one of the best Rock-guitarrist.
That Elvis song turned into a Ted Nugent song pretty quick when he took lead. Unmistakable sound of the Motor City Madman and ZZ Top mixed together like a marble rye loaf. Beautiful.
ZZ 'Tone Masters' TOP. Ted's all heart. Great to see them onstage together.
The motor city madman and that lil ol band from Texas doing the King some justice.
I love it. Ted came to rock.
Ted always comes to rock
you better ask somebody...
Zz top and the Nuge doing the king!
If that isn't rock n roll then I don't know what is.
Classic rockers kickin' our asses!

Ted Nugent could care less about the rock and roll f****** Hall of Fame. We all know he deserves to be there and he knows that.
Ted’s a great guitarist and showman, sad that he’s a gun toting right-wingnut
I don't recognize the Rock Hall of fame
That's how highly esteemed institutions transform themselves into laughing stocks. Just ask the Nobel Peace Prize Committee.
Dusty Hill lookin like a garden Gnome.
Smells like freedom.
Motor city madman rocks again. God bless America. Land and country that I love.

Ted's awesome
Ted opened for top back in 76 or 77 in San Fran I was there and he tore the place apart!

Roots rock goodness.
Saw these guys in 1974. 3 cowboys in checkered shirts.

Ted kicked butt on that solo!
He was up there being a bad ass performer. Has nothing to do with his political affiliation/beliefs.
