He's hosted for longer than anyone else, he expressed his interests in focusing on his own shows in an interview, and later Family Feud Renewed his contract for almost 100 million. As long as they keep paying him the big bucks we all know he's staying. And we know he's happy with the Feud money, because he started making so much jokes about how rich he is, as well as questions referencing his wealth after he got that large deal. He is pretty much the impersonation of Family Feud and he has been franchised in their home games and mobile apps, he is the mascot now and I bet the show would sooner go off the air than get a new host.

Steve is so good-natured! What a good sport. In fairness, I don't believe the Miss Universe faux pas was his fault. I think maybe for that specific card, the order was different because it had two names, and they put the runner-up first instead of the winner, and no one from the committee made it clear in rehearsal. Steve is a good man, and he took responsibility for that, but it really wasn't his fault.
They should go back to announcing the 1st runner up AND then the winner! I believe that ran from the LATE 60s-2010
