- In this vlog I review the brand new 2024 Harley Davidson Road Glide. In this review I talk about a few of the main specs and features of the road glide before hitting the road and doing a real on road review. I do abit of a highway ride then do a 0 to 100 on the road glide before hitting some twisties. At the end of the vlog I give abit of an overview and my final thoughts on this bike.

Good review as always bro , agree with the others, you'll clock up some comfy ks on that thing. I think you either love the look of the Road Glide or hate it. I must admit the look actually grows on you the more you look at them.

I traded my 17 RG and been riding 40 years and I get it the whole computer thing is just more to break down but I am absolutely loving the 2024 RG I picked up You said it it’s 2024 technology wise like my Chevy pick up computer system and bells and whistles from 3 on the tree To each his own but as for me I’m loving it

I rode both and went with the street, i think (for me) with the fairing weight falling into the corner with the bike not stationary like the road glide, it just seem to tip into corners better, but at high speed the road glide was more stable. Depends what ya like..for me any mug can go fast in a straight line but not many can go quick through the corners (and stay in their lane lol)

Hell yeah, love the reason behind it. Alot of people don't have valid points on why they like one better but this made total sense. Hahaha shots fired 🤣

Another good honest review Matty great looking bike ideal for the longer hauls but a overkill for riding the cracking runs we have on the coast & definitely needs a change of pipes to quiet 🤙😎

good review man, I rode an 18 RG and a 23RG, both were great and also both very different, but I decided the 23LowRiderST at only 320kg was the better and quicker option, also a bit cheaper, however with the tune, pipes, cam, forward controls, pillion seat & backrest etc it still ended up at 45k
Cheers jimi, it's crazy that models only a couple of years apart or even a year apart can feel so different! Goes to show they are trying to improve things all the time. Once again you've nailed it. Too much technology on modern bikes. Give me simple any day. I'm simple, so I want my bike simple. Not quite as simple as points and condensers - that's going too far backwards. LED lighting is ace. Some tech is cool, but I really do not want my bike's clocks looking like something off a sci-fi movie. I just wanna ride the damned thing. Thinks - maybe the manufacturers are trying to tempt the next generation onto bikes with tech. But not all kids want gadgets and nonsense either.

@TRC_WA my car doesn't even have Bluetooth or any adaptive modes road/rain,sport,custom etc. Tyre pressure sensor's or navigation system etc etc etc. Definitely has alot more than my car 🤣🤣 but I can't afford any fancy stuff anyway.
But i do agree it did look abit dated the new look has definitely grown on me !! And I must say you picked the perfect colour !!!! It is a beautiful bike. If I could afford one I would buy a road glide. First mod would be exhaust just to make it a bit louder.

Love your content! Very nice video as always. In terms of twitchy throttle, I found the same thing with my Fat Boy initially after not having ridden for quite some time. Go over a pothole and the throttle could twitch a little with my hand. Once you adjust your approach a little that ceases to be a problem though. I think they have a good balance between response and safety in their throttle systems right now. Again great content. Love your honesty in your videos!

Nice bike but I’m not a fairing fan.
They make me think of a push bike with a basket on the front. I like the feel of looking over the head light between the bars
Yeah alot of people don't seem to like it. I didn't at first but it has been growing on me abit, especially the CVO ST it looks cool. But I do see what you're saying haha does look abit odd.

Real reviews are the best bro. I am sure that the latest RG does everything you say it does... certainly a lot going on! I'm unsure how I feel about some parts of it. Other reviews have compared the new fairing light and the new tank edges to the Indian Challenger.
That said, I'd happily have a CVO version if money was no object. 😁
I walked into a Harley dealer last week in Los Angeles thinking I'd buy lots of bits for my Dyna Fatty and fill a suitcase, but only walked out with a Harley T-Shirt!
The new bikes and parts aren't any cheaper there either. 😅

Hi mate, another good vid always look forward to them .just wondering if you had to canter steer through the corner all the way or just on entry . It might be a dumb question, but I’ll be interested to know.
Cheers Greg, that's an interesting question, sorry now that I think of it I have no idea. It was just very easy and well rounder in the steering I'm usually leaning most of the time because that what I'm used to. To tip it in I'm usually always counter steering. Sorry mate, just naturally riding wasn't thinking too much into that. Definitely go take one for a ride, i think youll enjoy it. Thanks for watching 🧡 🖤 🤙
Regarding the twitchy throttle, I may have missed your commentary of the four ride modes which offer a very wide range of throttle responses.
I think it came down to me riding an old bike and just not being used to the new responsiveness haha

Sounds like a 1990s 4 cylinder Yamaha
Because of the steering angle, & the 26° lean angle, the Tourers(Road King, Road Glide, Street Glide & Electra-Glide are the best handling Harleys. Now take off the weight of the fairings & tour packs & the Road King is the most nimble of them all. Just wait until you try a Road King. You might trade you FatBob in. Giggles
I think you'll love my Evo Tourers. No tech. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
