    3.34 'A girl of fifteen was among injured' а по-английски слово 'injured' требует определённого артикля, поэтому мы скажем 'a girl of fifteen was among the injured.'

    Do the difference between lay and lie. As a native English speaker, I'm always confused by those-especially in the past tense.

    One small doubt mam
    Between politicians and villagers ?
    Or
    Among politicians and villagers ?

    • @AntoniaRomaker
      @AntoniaRomaker  Před 2 lety +1

      It depends on the meaning, if you say between you presuppose that there is some conflict between these two groups and if you say among, then you mean that politicians and villagers are one group!

    Between is for two and among is for more than two. "Between friends" would imply there are two friends. "Among friends" implies there are three or more friends. No worries though, most native English speakers cannot use the two words correctly and if you get it wrong, nobody will know or care.

    You should get a native speaker to do these videos. No offense.

    There is not much sense in making a video in English to learn this. Probably most people watching this know it already or they will not understand half of the things you said, you should teach it in Russian.
