- 👋 Here is the all new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TDR Sport! This new 2024 Tacoma even has the XP Package! For the 4th generation Toyota Tacoma, you'll find a 2.4L inline 4 cylinder engine producing 278 horsepower and 317 pound feet of torque. The 2024 Tacoma even has a new 8 speed automatic transmission. A 6 speed manual is still available for the 4th generation Tacoma. The Hybrid engine will be coming soon for the 2024 Tacoma as well. This 2024 Tacoma is the TRD Sport 2WD featuring the TRD Sport Upgrade Package. This package is $4,355. 5ft bed, 8 way power front seats, JBL sound system, AC power inverter, heated leather steering wheel, trailer brake controller and the power sliding rear window. The sunroof is actually a stand alone option. Base price of this 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport is $39,450 but with the options and the $2,799 XP Series Package the MSRP for this TRD Sport was $49,619. Overall the all new 4th generation 2024 Toyota Tacoma is a great truck! The new power plant drives so much smoother and has much more power then the old V6. The new transmission shifts seamless and is a breeze to drive! I love the new interior on the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. You'll see some blue trim and a nice two ton on the fabric seats. Plenty of room for the front seat passengers and its very comfortable. Back seats leave a bit to be desired. On the cramp side and they lack amenities like a center arm rest and air vents. The door panel arm rest is just plastic too. No padding. The tech in the 2024 Tacoma is up to date and easy to use. I felt super comfortable in the new Tacoma and driving it really felt like a solid truck. Smooth power delivery and a comfortable ride really makes the 2024 Tacoma a great truck around town. Excited to see more of the 2024 Tacoma lineup!

That's one of the nicest looking ones I've seen yet. Love the all black.
Yeah I didn't think I'd like it in black. but it really shows off the lines very well! Great looking truck!
Fr I don’t like black or white colors on vehicles but this looks bad ass with the new look in the Taco🤌🏽
Welcome back Bros, Thanks for the video 🙏🙏🫶🫶🫶🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Our pleasure! Awesome to check out the new Tacoma! We have another one coming next week!
I really wish the redesign RAV4 has this Tacoma interior design
Maybe the next generation will!
50k for only rear wheel?
Yeah a bit much. However the XP package ads a nice amount of cost. Looking at the trims. You can spec a nice TRD Off Road for less with 4x4. So just really depends on what options you go with. If this didn’t have the XP and extra TRD package. It’d be low $40ks
I just purchase a TRD Sport Premium with a lot of add ons. Dealer invoice is around 50k. I was able to settle with $51,500. Total would have been $61,750. Honestly shocked I got it at that deal to be honest
$50k for a Tacoma and a truck that isn’t full size is crazy. It looks great but the price point isn’t worth it
I think it’s worth it! Can’t wait to get it!
I’m not interested in a full size truck.
Need to make a 2 door version again, but man that’s a nice truck 😮💨
I believe you can get an access cab
Only double cabs
2023 gladiator Mojave 45k with rebates vs 2024 TRD off road. Which would you prefer?
2024 Tacoma all day! My brother owned a 2017 tacoma and a 2018 wrangler at the same time and thought about selling both for a gladiator. He never did it and is glad. We know a few people who regretted buying the gladiator instead of a tacoma. The tacoma is just so much better for daily driving and even highway driving. It'll be way more solid feeling and more comfortable as well.
He enjoyed the wrangler and thought it would be nice to have the pickup on the back, but the wrangler was a city vehicle for him. The tacoma was way nicer to drive.
Obviously people enjoy the gladiator and buy them, but drive both or try to rent one to really get some seat time. I'd recommend the tacoma over it all day.
Does this model come in 4X4 ? To bad it doesn't have the birds eye view cameras .
You can get a 4x4 and the camera system, those are options! Just not available at this time.
4 banger and small gas tank and overprice. Way to go toyota!
Its way nicer to drive then the old V6!
@@BrosFOURRSpeeda weak sauce 4 cylinder in any truck is a sin. Just drive a plain Jane econobox with a 4 banger.
It has more power than the outgoing V6, so I'd disagree with that statement..Have you driven one? It's got plenty, you can even opt for the hybrid with over 400 pound feet of torque from a 4 cylinder..@@IP0Monsturd
It's the same amount of horsepower but it has 50 lbs more torque. I have driven 1 and I really like it alot more than my TRD sport 22. I do get up to 30 mpg with my truck for the way that I drive. I have a tonnel cover, kn filter and a air intake accerater and I use mmo in my gas. The comfort and the upgrades are really nice on the 24. Too bad that they got stupid with the price. The government is forcing the manufacturers to go with the smaller engine for less emissions. @@BrosFOURRSpeed

Great review.
Thanks!
The interior blue is a bit much, but it is somehow a pleasing color. How did the suspension handle on bumps/potholes?
The blue looked pretty cool. There are other color options for that trim. Seemed very smooth to drive. I was very impressed with ride quality
That's extremely surprising since these trucks have always been known as a very stiff, and bouncy ride! @BrosFOURRSpeed
@@speeddemon311 No, that’s not true..my brother has owned two, they are not stiff. Stock suspension is more soft aside from possibly the TRD PRO.
It can’t be stiff and bouncy at the same time.
@BrosFOURRSpeed I meant TRD pro, and also stiff suspension leaves you bouncing over the bumps!
@@speeddemon311 it’s not that stiff whatsoever. The factory suspension isn’t even close to that feel.
Well I had in mind a higher level trim like the Overland with hybrid for my taste. This is not bad. The Taco is my fav truck.
Yeah they have so many different options for sure!
Is that one a 4x4? It has Sport mode but I didn't see any 4x4 modes.
It was 2wd.
Maybe soon, I will be able to buy this truck.
Keep working towards it!
Actually my dad was gonna get this truck, but he got a ram instead
Oh nice!
@locomotivevideoofficial576 that's unfortunate
I like the blue accent, but it’s a weird shade of blue. It looks suspiciously like scratch prevention film that hasn’t been peeled off yet.
Yeah it was a cool combo for this! Nice car overall! Definitely does look like that lol
Love the review. One thing though. The trans on the old taco was terrible. I had a auto. I traded it for a 6sp manual. The power and mog was a 1000% better going to the manual. Motor and gears were fine. The trans was junk.
When my brother regeared his 3rd gen auto, it was way better and more smooth!
Everyone comenting on the price its because of the audio upgrade and bed power outlets. This truck is 40g without the extras
Yeah this had a lot of expensive packages. You can get a nice spec 4X4 for about $46k
btw did i just hear a train at the beginning of the video
I think just the highway with semi trucks going by
oh
2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport XP X-Series Double Cab 4X2!
I would buy this truck
It’s sweet! My brother will be getting one this year!
4X4 I don't want 4X2.
@@eddiesaninocencio6635 Yeah 4x4 is available 😉
Price too damn high bro
Yeah this one had some options. But I spec'd a 4x4 TRD off Road for $46k. So just depends on how you spec it
I like it. Its bold.
It’s a cool new design!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I'm guessing it cost extra for the XP package?
@@JJ-rf7dg XP package is an option! That’s been around for several years!
Nice 👍
Thanks!
I didn't see a heated mirror option, did they do away with that?
Can't remember if it had that. But could also be an option or just built into when you turn the defrost on. The back glass was heated, so you'd think the mirrors are
How come this jacked up versions are not available in most asian countries ?
Not too sure
What do you get with the XP pkg?
The side steps and wheels.
I've often wondered why all the cheap models of vehicles are typically called SPORT?
Maybe it's a good marketing term since 'base' would make a car look cheap. However the TRD Sport is a mid level trim. The SR is the base
49k I’m shocked!!
Yeah this had about $6k in options. I built a TRD Off Road 4x4 for about $46k. So just depends on what you want on it
Congrats and I’m hunting around for a trd sport with a decent trd package and will be trading in my 2022 trail edition. Just the look of these and latest techs I was like yeah I love the v6 but gotta go with the times..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed How much extra to leave the chinstrap at the dealership? Shocking how big that thing is. Great review!
My 22 is Gold 😂👍🇺🇸
Glad you enjoy it! I can’t wait for the new one!
I dunno. I always love Tacoma from the exterior but not so much interior. Just me.
why are the back doors so small?
They may look it, but honestly very similar to the third gen rear doors.
$50,000 for cloth seats?
What was the MSRP on that one?
I said that in the beginning of the video.
They are?? Maybe things are moving fast there because mine have a delay.
They are what?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed you said they’re getting them in. I haven’t seen none at dealers. Mine is on delay along with many other customers.
@@sanji_alvarez I’m sure different dealers have different supply. But our dealer is getting them in
Why four cylinder?
Not sure, but have you driven one? Way smoother and more power than the V6.
The air dam looks awful.
A few tabs and it comes right off!
My wife said the same thing she didnt like the air dam, when we get it we’re thinking about removing that it looks better without it for sure!
@@retrosqrz It's not on the Off Road, Pro or trial hunter. So just the rest of the lineup. But an easy thing to pop off
Where is the f****** v6 huh???
It's gone
my opinion, I hate that blue trim.
That’s an option!
Wait a minute. 4 cal, 2 wheel drive, mid size truck for 49k. Im not the smartest in the group but damn im not that stupid. Toyotas CEO must need his 7th yacht.
This has two packages that are added to it. You can buy one for much less.
Don't waste your money on this. Bought 24 trd sport solar octane color and at only 503mi engine blown.i force 4cyl is a piece of crap.trading for gmc canyon. Never buy toyota again until they put a v6 back in them.
The canyon has a 4 cylinder as well..I’m still planning to buy one.
Nope
Can you explain?
Please take the air dam before reviewing..it doesnt do justice
lol, I’m not taking apart a vehicle I don’t own. But you can easily remove it..
Need to stay away from turbo engine… they are nightmare
What’s your ownership experience been like?
49k ouch😅
It's a lot for two wheel drive! My brother will be making a video on pricing with different models soon!
