Boat Painting 101: Spray Painting the Waterline & Finishing Touches

Now that the hard part is done with the hull painted (see process of this paint job in this videos series: • Boat Painting 101 - Hu... ), Brendan is ready to work on painting the waterline with TotalBoat Wet Edge Topside paint (a single part polyurethane finish) and applying stickers. A few runs in the Quantum99 topside paint job are easily fixed and disappear with some rubbing compound and a buffer. Watch how he puts the finishing touches on the Black Watch 26 and how the runs disappear after using a little elbow grease. The formerly white hull has been transformed and looks amazing.
