BBQ Chronicles EP3: SNOWS BBQ

- Left Donna Tx, America at 9:30pm on a Friday night, arrived at 2:40am at Snows BBQ in Lexington, TX. We were #s 17,18 and 19 in line.
I felt proud that we made the journey and was convinced we were the few hard-core people that were willing to make a trip of several hundred miles. But behind us was a family from Argentina, another from Paris and the first guy in line (who set up camp the night before) was from New Zealand.
We got to eat excellent BBQ, I won a sweet tumbler in their line raffle and had the privilege of meeting the legendary queen of BBQ, Ms. Tootsie.

Snows is good, not the best. Of course I know that’s subjective but I’ve eaten at nearly every bbq spot in TX. All the Lockhart, Austin, Dripping Springs, East Tx and Houston spots. I own a part of Rudy’s and I have to admit I will always believe the old Smoky Joes on I-30 was the best. RIP Joe
you silly dude I would never ver ever ever ever wake up that early and wait that long just for bbq. I rather just make it at home
Im so glad i found your channel, pls keeeep these videoes coming! Food looks delicious. Refreshing to see honest great ratings, and not "EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT" That must be some great delicious sausage! Not sure if thats worth the looooong q, when theres so many good BBQ around that area

Wait. So the brisket was mid? Thats the whole reason I wanted to take the long drive over there. Sad to hear. Kinda changing my mind.
Brisket was very good. Very tender, just outshined by the other meats. That's a good thing I'd say.
Place is not that good at all I would not recommend going early and waiting in line for so long
I was not impressed with the brisket. The day we went the pork steaks were very good. To me and my wife we will not go back.
It’s good bbq, but you go to Snows for the experience.
