Bro, all the research, visuals, interviews, editing, and pacing are super on point. You're a great storyteller of authentic stories, Ant!
đđ thanks so much, trying to get better each one!
I met Amir when I went to Goldees and got to chat with him a bit as I was first in line so I was able to wander around. He was great to talk with and super excited about what he was doing and at that time, mentioned he was going to be opening his own place. I didnt realize until just now that RedBird was Amir's baby. Grats brother.
Man I really appreciate the support!
â@RedbirdBBQ much success to you and I appreciate the time you took to talk with me at Goldees.
PHENOMENAL VIDEO! Thank you ANT for capturing a glimpse of our family. We are so proud of Amir.
Thank you for having me! You have a beautiful family â€ïž
@@AntsBBQCookoutthank you for investing your time and tremendous efforts in making this video extra special! â€ïž
Keep doing these, each one feels like an HBO/Vice/Munchies production, but more personal and genuine. I love that you just let them talk and tell their story.
The interviews are usually around 3 hours long. So I have a lot to play around with to get that final audio. I enjoy hearing them tell their story too :)
Ant I say this every time⊠each BBQ documentary you do just keeps getting better! TV/ high end CZcams channels canât touch what you do! CZcams should be thanking you for your content! đđœđđœđđœ
Man Amir made me cry. Red Bird has a great story. Good job in this video Ant!
Thanks brother, had me crying too lol missed you for this one, but had my friend Bryan fill in for you and he did a good job!
@@AntsBBQCookout Yeah dude, Bryan is a great job! Shots looked awesome!

Thank you so much!!
Dude, you're putting the humanity into the BBQ world and it's an amazing work. Keep doing the Lord's work, bud!
Hey...We were in line behind Leah on our first visit. She was quite the ambassador.
Ant...Another fantastic documentary! I am a fan.
Team Redbird...Thank you for pulling the curtain back on your restaurant. We love your food. Now, we love your story.
I drive further to get to Redbird than I'd have to drive to any of the great names in Central Texas BBQ and it's worth it every time!
Best series on CZcams bro. I love these!!! Red bird is going to blow up. Great story.
Mannnnnn
When Amir went to talking about the love and memory of his brother KodyâŠâŠI mean I already am making plans to visit; now I want to hug him through the screen. The lost of a sibling is never easy. Motivation through depression and grief. Thanks for telling your story. Much love from the Mississippi DELTA.
I so look forward to these now. These are stories about family and legacy. With all the hate in the world, these just show most people are good and just want to bring people together. Great job Ant!!!!!
Oh my god, Port Neches? That's a 5-6 hour drive to Fort Worth. Talk about dedication! I'm gonna have to make the trek out that way one of these days.
amir is one of a kind, humble and dedicated
Persian Cajun ......... love it!
I live in Southeast Texas, and I've tried just about all the BBQ places down here and redbird is hands down the best!! Those cheesy scalloped potatoes are awesome!! The meats are good!! That green onion & cheese sausage is legit!! Great job Ant!!!
Try 1701 BBQ in Beaumont.
@timr0by I've tried it 3 times. Redbird is way better, and it's not even close.
@@MikeBrownBBQ Nice. I live in Nederland but haven't tried Red Bird's yet.
@@timr0by go try it out, you won't be disappointed!!
Donât forget how good that banana pudding is!!
You can really feel his story and passion through what you put together here. Fine job to both of you.
editing is over the top. above and beyond. i REALLY wanna go to this joint.
One of the best new BBQ joints I've been to!
đ đđŻđŻ
Shout out to all the Persians âïžđźđ·â€ïž
It is on my bucket list to spend a week in Texas finding all of these spots. Great video, love the BBQ community.
Great video. So cool to see Amir (and Chuck at Barbs) get their start at Goldee's. That speaks volumes and cool to see how close the Texas BBQ scene is. Supporting each other so that everyone wins. Can't wait to try this spot!
Great stuff, keep the BBQ stories coming.
More to come
Redbird is awesome! Some of the best BBQ I've had in Texas. Everything is made from scratch, even the mayonnaise he uses in the Caesar slaw. Try the chocolate chip bread pudding he makes from left over dinner rolls on Sundays. Koobideh sausage is great with the homemade pita and whipped feta.
Thats an all American family right there. Can't wait to come by.
That food looks amazing!! Hopefully I can get down there some day - he seems like a really good dude; I'm rooting for him and Red Bird!
Amir is the best they come. Need to get myself there before this thing tops Texas Monthly and the lines are insane
Congratulations on another superbly produced documentary. You are doing the BBQ industry a tremendous service by showing the heart and soul that goes into making great BBQ. Thanks for telling their stories.
Absolutely LOVE your BBQ restaurant reviews Ant...the best! Cheers!
Thank you! More to come! Ribbees next :)
Ant, you always do such an amazing job with your BBQ stories. Great story telling, great flow, and always makes me want to go try their food! I canât wait for the follow up when you try their plate!
Barbs tray video will be out in a couple weeks. But red bird is right behind it!
Loving the series. Wonderful backstories. Thanks for producing these.
Great video!!! RedBirds is a great example of Texas BBQ!! Do yourself a favor and make that trip to Port Neches,Texas đđŒ
Thank you so much!!
One of my favorite videos yall have done!!! Canât wait to try Red Bird!
Ant, youâre getting so good at this food doc niche. Itâs so good man. I look forward to these more than Eater or BAâs videos. Extremely well done man!
Thank you! Iâm glad yall like these so much, because it really helps the restaurants. I want to keep making them as long as God allows! đ
Known Dr. Jalali for many years. Excellent video and very cool to see his son and everyone's passion on delivering great BBQ. Going this Friday!
Great story the BBQ looks so amazing. Just made me a huge fan from San Antonio Tx
Guy is winning and i want him to win it all
Hip hop and Texas BBQ !!! Canât beat it!
Love the passion. Keep up the great vids, man!
and having mother-in-law, mom, AND step-mom there is pretty wild. But it's actually great to see.
Amir was at Goldees when I took the class. I remember this kid. Great story here.....
Family
Another phenomenal production Ant. Wow.
Shepard BBQ - Emerald Isle North Carolina⊠It might need a visit..
Would have never imagined another Iranian would have a passion for texas-style BBQ and open up a restaurant to infuse persian dishes into bbq food. Mad respect for Amir. That is amazing! Hoping to meet him one day
Incredible video. The story is great. When he broke up talking about his brother Cody was it. Can't wait to try this BBQ. I'm already a lil bias; being that Ive for Fam on the staff(Zach). I'm a perveyor of smoked meat...period. South Texas does it right.
Heâs damn right you have to have a crew
I run a trailer by my self 4 briskets 6 racks of ribs pulled pork turkey sausage burgers chicken tri tip pork belly burnt ends sheeeesh itâs work but I love it
Love the series! Would be cool if you visited some Midwest places like Kansas City, Chicago, Memphis etc. I love Texas but great BBQ exists all over!
I love these videos and hearing the stories of how they do what they do keep it coming! Great job
The absolute best! Such an amazing story!
Itâs cool how mom and step mom can get along
I opened up my own BBQ joint called BlueBird. #1 BBQ in Florida, we play rap and hiphop music. We cook 150 briskets a week, we have 2500 gallon smokers. We named our pits as well, Marty and Doc because we are from the future and no one can stop us.
Ant, love your vids. Thereâs a place here in Tampa, Florida called the brisket shoppe that you should hit up if youâre ever in the state. Itâs got Texas style brisket and bbq that I think competes with some of the spots out there in Texas. I actually had my bachelor party there. You should do a video there if youâre ever in the states
I'm in Clearwater, I need to try Brisket Shoppe. Overall, BBQ is terrible in Florida lol.
Dudes going to make me cry
Awesome video, Amir always been the man.
I love the idea of introducing a middle eastern flavors to the sausage. I love texas bbq, but i love unique interpretations of it, since Texas is not just a state of mexicans and german immigrants anymore.
This place looks amazing! You did an excellent job on this video! I love this series.
Ant,
Another amazing video! I liked Amir's unique story of jumping right into working in bbq without tinkering first with backyard bbq. Where would he be now if he had been messing around cooking briskets from K-Mart! Ha! Great job! Another person helping to fulfill Kirby's prophesy that the top 10 in Texas BBQ will be filled by people trained at Goldee's!
Keep up the great work!
These are better than the Eater vids for sure.
That means a lot! Iâm a big fan of eaters smoke point and their production blows me away. I have nothing on their camera work and color grading haha but thank you still đ
This is a great video
Amazing video, I love all these videos you have been making lately!
This was next level! Nice!
Im.drooling over here. Wow. What great lookin bbq.
great story....
Best one yet
another amazing episode Ant!
Man I love these videos!! This should be a food network series! You forget youre watching youtube
Haha thank you. The best part of what I do is I can pick how the story is told. Gets a lot more messy if thereâs a powerhouse production behind it
All round the best BBQ spotlight video I've seen! Yall presented their story perfect and his passion and love for BBQ and family is undeniable! I hope to make my passion my work as well one day. Inspirational for sure. I'll be making the drive from Houston asap!
Kudos to everyone involved.
Awesome Video! Redbird will definitely be on my to go list soon!!
Looks incredible!
Awesome stuffâŠsubscribed ! Great work keep it up
Amazing vid ant! They get better and better đđœ
Best one yet!
This was a fantastic video!
Well done
I love the vid ant, another beautiful production as always. I hate that you have me salivating like a starving dog before work & im no where near the great state of texas to taste a bite of this heavenly goodness.
Me and my family love good Bar B Que. We will definitely take a drive from Pearland to try this. Love the story behind the Bar B Que and it all looks delicious. Can't wait.
Bbq looks spot on great job on your success
the amount of great bbq pitmasters that goldee is producing is amazing, can't wait to try all of them one day!
Great Video!!!
Beautifully done Ant! You put a top notch video together here. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the craft.
Thank you! Trying to get better each one :)
I would have to agree that you are!! Iâve watched them all more than once! Keep on grinding buddy!!
Bro best bbq video ever!
Great inspirational story! Hey man, you gotta huge secret weapon in your back pocket having a viet step brother, you should tap in some viet flavors or food items such as chopped brisket banh mi!
One day Iâll try it but you made me taste the amazingness through this awesome detailed intriguing video â€ïžđ„đ„
I met Amir at Goldeeâs last year. Canât wait to try Redbird. Guess Iâll be making that drive soon đ đ đ
great work again ant
Amir is the best
Thanks!
wow thanks so much !!
Wanted to eat some bbq when I visit home next week after working in the Midwest. Redbird here I come
Brother great story.
good stuff team
Great story looks like agreat place as myself being a redbird fan just makes me wanna go there more
I have not been to Texas in about one year. I am going back just to go to this place.
I live in Orange Texas and Iâm definitely going try Redbirds this weekend
Goldee is putting ppl on the map.
Isnât this the 2nd employee to start their own bbq business
Thereâs 3 now with Sabar BBQ Zain got his own spot now
This and Barbs-bq both had former Goldees employees that ventured put and made their own spots. I wonder what that dynamic is like
The Goldees guys love it! Iâve only seen them encourage their employees to take what they learn and start their own spot. They are really cool and supportive. Jonny was sharing barbs and red birds bbq stories on his IG when they dropped haha
â@AntsBBQCookout good to know! They all seem so chill amd just want to put out a great product. Great video again!
Goldees seems to be an incubator for great barbecue entrepreneurs.
You should definitely go do a workshop tour of TMG Pits in Tennessee. I think the are one of the best pit builders currently and their lineup is so much different than everyone elseâs.
For the algorithms bay bay!!!! 0:10
I have a personal policy to not wait in a line just to eat . BUT, I make an exemption for good bbq. Especially brisket .
