I know Eddie and David are too busy to read comments, but this show is like a dream for a long time F1 fan. They are the real deal and I love the stories. Blows Drive to Survive out of the water.
Put Berger in the title please .. some respect👍
Great story!
Gerhard was the perfect team mate for Ayrton Senna, just love the guy
Berger is the type of character f1 is missing today.
Daniel is the second tier berger we’ve got, and maybe we see more of it in future because he also happens to be dating berger’s daughter
everyone today is missing senna.
He was a joker all right. Him and Senna were in a helicopter and Berger opened the door and threw Senna’s Louis Vuitton bag out the helicopter and it Sennas car keys, wallet passport everything in it. Then another story that he dared Ron Dennis to eat these hot chilli’s. During the night Ron Dennis had to take a dump and his backside was burning so bad he had to turn on the shower and take off the shower head and aim the water where the sun don’t shine.
@@smith2781 your post would be better if you started it with. Once upon a time.
I agree. Berger was talented something that is missing today.
Imagine the stories if Senna was still here
What a top guy Gerhard Berger is
2:20 berger knew where the conversation was going. You can see him trying not to smirk 😂
The irony was that Irvine had been a big Senna fan. His helmet was even based on Senna's design. Just different colours
Senna & Berger were great teammates and friends. The stories of Gerhard's pranks are legendary. 😂
Gergard’s face when they are talking about him getting Senna hyped up is priceless
I saw the judge of fact report, courtesy of the Late Trevor Fry, it showed a very bad side of Ayrton Senna!
All remained calm in Australia and no further action was needed!
Eddie Irvine was a breath of fresh air in Formula 1, although he forecast this crap which is happening now!
We in Northern Ireland are very proud of Eddie!
Eddie is looking really healthy
Berger was a great. Awesome speed and natural talent. Very very brave. Formula 1 hero
And a great character. Turning the often grumpy Senna into a full on prankster :D that's what F1 is missing nowadays.
Can't believe these full podcasts don't end up on CZcams.
Where can I find the full podcasts?
@@jameswyatt3039 it's on this channel
Spotify
we need full video of the whole podcast!
We do. The small clips are amazing.
One of my favorite drivers ever.
The guy who gaslight senna into punching irvine and getting a raceban, stuff of the legends
When you use a word like gaslight, it just tells those of us who actually know racing, that you're a child who knows nothing.
I miss when the term gaslight wasn't used
@@ReanimatorsMutilations Yup
@@ReanimatorsMutilations I have no idea what "gaslighting" is and neither do I care, but I'm absolutely sure the word here would be "goaded". Why do we have to try and reinvent the wheel (or dictionary in this case) when a perfectly good word already exists?
Means something very specific, but kids want to sound smart and use it left and right. What's wrong with the term convinced?
Don’t forget guys silverstone festival this year is the celebration 30 years Ayrton Senna. Lots of memorabilia & cars. Get your tickets now. August 2024. 👍🇧🇷🏆🏆🏆
If I didn´t know, looking at this interview I would say Eddie Jordan is the same age as Coulthard and Berger... he looks younger than Berger even...
It’s the wig isn’t it?
Na. Eddie is older than DC for sure. Eddie 76 I think, DC 53
senna and berger best friends, and pranksters!
Please do this Videos frequently. This kind of content is so much needed in the f1 community.
Love to hear AND See such conversations in the Future!
Liebe Grüße aus Wien
Irvine was a prickly touchy git. Not easy to warm to.
A great driver, seems good fun too 😊
Love these vids with DC and Jordan and guests!
Finally some longer videos
These guys are all legends :) love to see stuff
Gerhard Berger was the one to whom Ayrton expressed his concerns about the Tamburello corner and they talked about the possiblity of pushing the wall back but there was a river behind the wall so it couldnt be altered, but I'm surprised that they never discussed the possibility of putting a tyre barrier and a gravel trap at that corner to make any crashes less severe. Regarding the Eddie Irvine and Ayrton Senna issue, Irvine wrongly overtook Ayrton which made him furious as he was in the lead and Irvine had already been lapped hence the reason he saw red and punched him. It just goes to show that even laidback and reserved people can lose their tempers from time to time but when you are involved in an intense sport like Formula One, the level.of intensity is off the charts.
The best of years with the best drivers
His mechanics called him Gearhurt because of his rough changes. Prost, they said, was the opposite and his post-race gearbox would be completely unscathed.
Adam Cooper was the journalist who brought this to the attention of the world in Autosport. From memory Irvines response to Sennas effort was " Is that the best you can do ? " LOL
Most F1 drivers are Flyweights, Bantamweights or Lightweights at best, they're never gonna knock someone down or out with one punch! Maybe Mark Webber after a few beers and probably only cos he's an Aussie! Lol.
wheres the full podcast?
ah good ol' times
i think the only 3 drivers w thick skin from today line up manage w the craziness drivers of the 80s & 90s. Would be Bottas , Alonso & Max ( Kim if still racing hv a shot of vodka ) lol
Piastri gives me an old school, just "shut up and drive" vibe too.
Hmm...I guess all those crazy drivers from the 80's and 90's don't compare to the crazy drivers from the 70's...but they're pretty close.
Sensacional !!
I love this 😄
I suspect everyone who knew Irvine back in the day took a swing at him at one time or another.😛
I remember an interview with Irvine who said I let him punch me in the face because it was a free £50,000
Does a video of Eddie Jordan not pronouncing the word "money" exists ?
Irvine was the most unpleasant F1 character in history.
Marshawn Lynch had a shot of whiskey before every NFL game he played.
It's Ayrton, not Aryton ffs
That whole incident was Damon Hill’s fault. Eddie was racing with Damon and Damon was blocking both Eddie AND Senna, who was lapping them both
Wonder if there was a driver who sniffed glue before qualifying?
That's also a great idea to interview Piquet. He also has lots of interesting stories to tell.
Only reason I have watched F1 over the past decade is because I couldn’t find the remote controls
I’m a die hard Senna fan but his legend grew after his death. I’m not convinced he wins in 94. We’ll never know. It wouldn’t have been easy at all. And Benetton was banned for multiple races just to close in the points and make it interesting. Such was Bernie’s F1. 96 and 97 were only Williams years bc Schumacher left Benetton for Ferrari. Revisionist history a little bit. But a common perception.
I think you're the first Senna fan I heard saying this. It would have been close for sure, despite the 30-0 after Imola. Unfortunately we will never know what the outcome would have been.
I think with the updates to the car at the Spanish Grand Prix and afterwards it would have been highly competitive. Honestly Benetton was just a better team as it relates to pit stops and singular focus on Schumacher. I think Michael would have pipped Senna in '94. 95 would have been immense with the Benetton having the Renault engine and a revised and and quick William's car. Had Senna stayed 96 and 97 would have been his easily. Unfortunately we will never know. I say all this as a prost fan but with a intense dislike of Michael. So there's my prejudices up front...
Mate, if Hill pushed Schumacher all the way to Adelaide, Ayrton would have had it wrapped up 2-3 races before… Benetton got caught cheating, so that still would have happened.
@@byza101 it wasn’t cheating. I mean everyone knows they WERE cheating using traction control but the penalty was Schumacher overtaking Hill on a formation lap, ignoring black flags and getting two race penalty for it. Bernie basically evened the field with a thirty point penalty for that series of events. That’s what made it close. Benetton still had the better car in head to head battles. That was my only point.
@@nicorsar gaining an unfair advantage is cheating. It might not be serious, but if the rules say you can’t do it, and you do it to gain advantage then that is cheating. Bit like when Schuey turned into Hill, it was done to gain unfair advantage…. And by the second half of the season Williams were competitive against Benetton, so it’s not hard to imagine Senna getting comfortable with the car by then and absolutely wringing the neck of it.
Gerard was having a schnapps before driving .. probably 😝
Irvine deserved a smack for punting Derek Warwick out of sixth place.
Tendi nada com esses sotaques aí 😆
Was there ANY driver Senna hadn't hit or tried to strangle? Ask Martin Brundle.
Wait, what?
🤣😂
too much woke in all major sports this decade...
Because Senna was a bully and a hypocrite when it came to racing.
Are you going to Heaven when you die? If you believe that Jesus Christ was born, suffered and died on the Cross, and that God Almighty raised Him back up to Life three days later - and if you Trust that His Sacrifice alone paid for all your past, present and future Sins - then you will go to Heaven when you die! It’s that simple. This is the Good News of The Gospel.
