Cottage Cheese is pissed that it wasnt used in this recipe.
Lol. We’re in an open relationship!

recipe is actually much better with cottage cheese instead of greek yogurt IMO
@@pumpkinpie5531Greek yogurt disagrees 100% 😂
"Cottage cheese is piss..." - Nickifier88 - 2024
I LOVE these type of videos. I am so tired of seeing almost every ‘healthy’ protein base recipe require protein powders - and often expensive ones that you have to get online in some speciality store or website rather than easy to find ingredients you have already lying around at your house or in the local store down the road. Look forward to trying this recipe!
Because majority of time the people who are making high protein anything are into fitness, we already use protein powders so it works out for US.
Would love a series on low carb/ low calorie dishes!
👨🏻🍳I am trying every pancake recipe. This one was awesome considering that it didn't contain any protein powder which other creators just used and it just carried the taste and macros ....it's consistency it's spot on! It's a 9/10
really appreciate the lower carb high protein stuff you provide!
Most “spice sections” in grocery stores where you find vanilla extract in the baking isle, you can get “butter extract” and add it to this to give it a natural butter flavor without all the calories and fat or butter. What I do is use that with a tiny bit of plant based melted butter (to cut down on saturated fat). “I can’t believe it’s not butter” has a “light butter” which only has 35 cal per set serving. I use that. It gives a nice buttery flavor into the pancakes without a ton of extra calories. Try melting a bit of the lower calorie “I can’t believe it’s not butter” with the butter flavor extract in the microwave and then pour it into the pancake mix as you blend it. I add some liquid sucralose as well to sweeten it up. Splenda has a stevia and erythritol product. I use that mixed with liquid sucrose. Both combined sweetens it very similar to sugar.
That's brilliant! Definitely gonna give this a try!
I didn’t know that existed! Thank you! ❤
Love the recipes TPC. Keep them coming!
I just made this, and my two year old loves it. I appreciate you.
gonna make these over the weekend for sure
Gonna test this on the weekends
These look awesome. I'm a fan of baking pancakes in a Pyrex dish so they all come out hot at once. Love all the videos, protein powder or not.
Needed a breakfast shake up going to give these a try
I made quinoa flour by putting the seeds in a good blender. It’s good quality protein as well. Recommended!
Ooo yea, quinoa has nice macros. If I used that, would the measurements be the same regarding this recipe?
So glad I came across your channel! 🎉 currently learning about more high protein recipes!
Lately I’ve been using a little pureed sweet potato in lieu of the sweetener. They are so good!!
love your channel! Im not always able to buy protein powder as it can be $$$. So the no protein powder recipes work best for me and my budget😊
Never really had to 'diet' as my bodyweight is very stable, but lately I am doing well with prioritizing protein, lower carb and overall trying to eat a little more so I can actually gain muscle.
My most successful weight loss was when I did Paleo Fasting for about a month. A 36-hour fast, followed by a 12-hour feeding window .During the feeding window, I ate 3 regular meals. You can eat whatever you want, but you'll get better results if you stick to whole foods and stay hydrated during the fast. I had to stop when my doctors pointed out that I 'm on daily medications that I'm supposed to take with food. Since then, I've been counting calories with an app and eating a plant centric Mediterranean diet, but I'm in the process of moving to a more Primal diet: mostly animal protein + fruits & roots .
Cocoa powder and pb2 mixed (will need more milk to make it work) make some really good chocolate peanut butter pancakes with this recipe too!
You deserve 1milli+ subs
I made two protein cheesecake following your recipe and shared them with my team watching UFC 300. Everyone liked it, it was legit! Thanks and subscribed!
Yes, please. More recipes that don't require protein powder. I hate buying protein powder, so any dessert-like recipe that doesn't require it is appreciated.
As for my most successful diet, tracking my calories is what helped me stay in a calorie deficit and lose weight.
Those two pancakes have about 180 grams.
My favorite topping is plum jam made by me and my wife, no added sugar, only plums.
Greetings from Italy 😊
I've done best with the Zone Diet. I do intermittent fasting, too. I call it "between meals". 😁
I try to only buy versatile, whole foods so I avoid protein powder. Thanks for the recipe!
I made these by accident about 3 weeks ago, following another youtuber’s recipe that called for buttermilk. I didn’t have any so I used Greek yogurt and almond milk. They weren’t as fluffy as some of the other pancakes I’ve made. But they were better than the ‘protein pancakes’ I’ve made with premade pancake mix. I also used some spelt flour I’ve been trying to get rid of. I think that contributed to the heaviness.
I love high quality protein powder, fat free Greek yogurt (sneaky and more affordable version of whey protein shakes), and pancakes. Thx for the easy recipe! Will make these for my wife/ kids, minus the all purpose flour.
For me just calorie tracking without any additional shenanigans is the thing I can stick to. It's been 5 years already with small breaks during holidays like Easter.
192g and tracking has for sure been my best method so far. It’s kind of gave me freedom in a sense because if we’re going out to eat or it’s pizza night, I’ll just save most of my calories for that meal and I can still remain on track.
Yes to more no protein powder recipes!
Any tips to lower the carb content? -- cause I'm going to make / eat the entire recipe!
I’ll try these…subbing my KOS unflavored, unsweetened pea protein powder for the flour.
127 grams
I do best when tracking my calories/macros. I had no idea how many excess calories I was consuming by snacking until I started tracking
oh man you love to see it
135 grams
Im on my first ever diet and it's been going okay with just calorie counting and eating at about 400kcal deficient everyday. Its only been 4 weeks and definitely getting a bit harder the longer it goes though!
Without a doubt keep them coming 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This recipe is amazing, tastes like regular pancakes !
Did you cook them as is or add protein powder?
@@janettemitchell1176 As is
Will the nutrients differ if I decide to put the whole batter as one sheet pan and bake it in the oven?
I wonder if you use high protein flavored greek yogurt such as Danone Light and Fit Crème brûlée flavor, if that would taste good?
Where to get non stick cooking spray?
100 grams.Do the final calories and protein per pancake include the optional protein powder?
Anybody know if steel oats works the same??
Is it possible to do an egg free version?
High fat low carb works best for me. 2 carb up days a week tho. Basically the anabolic diet.
If one wants to thicken this recipe up without adding net calories and bad taste, and to make it more satiating, they can add oat fiber. A few tablespoons of oat fiber will 1) thicken it up, 2) add healthy fiber, 3) making it more satiating (which is important especially when cutting, but without 4) adding unnecessary calories or 5) impacting the flavor in a bad way.
Oat fiber is fairly bland and I get mine in bulk online where it is pretty cheap. I also add it to oatmeal, protein shakes, and bread recipes to thicken them up as well. Maybe add just a tad but extra sweeter and liquid if you do use it though. But that’s about it.
What about chickpea flour?
Can I use this recipe to make waffles?
I now use Icelandic Skyr yogourt instead of greek. Higher in protein and less tart.
I do dig the no protein powder recipes
im trying this, and i haven’t finished watching the video☺️
84g great video as always!
180gm. Another great looking recipe
Can you make waffle next?
My guess is 218g. Those look yummy, and I'm making them 😊
So what greek yogurt did u used for this? Vanilla flavor or plain non fat greek yogurt?🤔🤔
126 Grams. Intermittent fasting and weight training is my foundation for either weight loss or maintenance, no calorie counting 😅
These actually look so fluffy, and NOT dry, like most protein pancakes do!
Could you tell this recipe using pounds instead of cups there are many ways of measuring cups pounds take the guess work out
Is it 138 calories for one pancake or 5?
Usually we see you eating the creation you just finished. I didn't see you have a piece of pancake?
Great recipie. I thin the pancakes weigh 184g
Calories, fasting and most importantly consistency
Is almond flour ok? Trying to stay more low carb
I'm also wondering too! Or coconut flour. I didn't see it on his page sadly😢
I went ahead yesterday and try’d it Almond flour with it it was actually pretty good 😋😋
Thanks for trying it😃 will definitely try it later on
@@monicaant.1422 no problem couldn’t wait for a response from him so i thought ahh what the hell do it
i will try tomorrow, but i will add whey protein in place of the flour and update u all with the results
Great recipe!!! Thank you for no cottage cheese!!
i noticed that on your website there is only 1 whole egg in the ingredients not 2
I guess somewhere around 130g for the 2 pancakes
counting callories has worked out best for me.
Im guessing 5 grams for the weight of pancakes
High protein to avoid feeling hungry - definitely counting calories that is most important. Eating fruits and veggies and other low calorie foods combined with minimal calorie dense foods.

This is basically how I make my protein pancakes and think they taste better with the oat flour. More fiber as well.
50g for the pancakes.
I like how you included adding protein powder to this recipe for additional protein. How about you give both options when applicable.

219g - Calorie counting with high protein recipes works best 4 me
Guestimate is 128 grams

Personally, I don't do well with intermittent fasting (I end up hungry and cranky). I prefer to track my calories (Carbon Diet Coach app), protein (about 2.1 grams/kg of body weight), and fiber (15 grams per 1000 calories), combined with 5 hours of weekly exercise (swimming and weight lifting) and an average of 8000 steps per day. Lost 28 kg that way and have kept them off.
