Emile is trapped in the mansion with the others. He searches for his published books in the mansion library but does not find them, frustrating him.
Then, snippets of the success of his first book, The Poisonous Pit of the Nectarous Flesh, then his subsequent failures. Flashback to him unknowingly killing Lawrence by accident. In the mansion, he keeps a notebook.
