In this episode, our friend Fiona, took us to several food places in Eastwood. Started the day with delicious yum cha from Noble House Seafood Restaurant Eastwood 文华酒楼. We didn't know about this Chinese restaurant until Fiona told us and apparently only locals will go to this hidden gems spot for yumcha. Food was great with quite affordable price for yumcha - three of us only spent less than $100 for yumcha feast.
Then, we had rou jia mo or Chinese burger from Seabay Kitchen which honestly really good for snack, less than $10 each and got everything you need which is meat (lamb or beef), bread and onion.
For desserts, we went to LeBakery, Asian pastries shop that does good variety of pastries and cakes with interesting filling like taro, salted egg, sesame, red bean, matcha etc. We also went to The Max Joy Co for delicious handmade ice cream and meet up with Justin, the founder of The Human of Eastwood page on FB & IG! Unfortunately Hon Kee (Hong Kong dessert spot in Eastwood) was closed when we were there, otherwise we would go for another round of dessert.
A day in life vlog won't be complete without a visit to Asian grocery supermarket, well in this case, two Korean grocery shops! We love Freezium Market in West Ryde for their complete selection of frozen food, I mean this place is like a giant freezer! We always get our Goraesa fish cake (famous premium Korean fish cake from Busan) from this spot. Another Korean supermarket that you must visit while in Eastwood is KMALL09, seriously the biggest Korean supermarket in Sydney that got everything you need from food, skincare, shampoo, side dishes, even electronics etc.
PS: Hopefully you enjoy this raw vlog and see little bit of behind the scenes (BTS) on how we film food videos for CZcams, Instagram and Tiktok. It is certainly not easy but we do enjoy :D

I wanna try this Durian ice cream 🍦 😋
today's video is so good !❤❤
Good thing Helmi remembers these things 😂 What is happening to you Nick?
Those look phenomenal. Taro is such a new thing to us, and with egg yolk, wow, just blew our minds!
Durian ice cream just for Helmi!
Yo guys! Feel like I haven't seen yall in ages. Funny when watching these it feels like we've just hung out 😂
Dim sum and the meat pita looked yum! Speaking of taiwan still waiting on that video eh Nicholas hahaha.
Liked the chill vibe of this video 🤙 n looking forward to seeing the Melbourne content
I really like this raw style of vlogging!! Show us your content creator life!
We really need to check out Eastwood next time we visits Sydney.
The korean supermarkets there look so complete and buy 👌🏻
Convinced we need to try that fish cake 👍🏻
Welcome back to Eastwood (my home). The yum cha restaurant is ok, appears small but also has a 2nd floor upstairs. Fun useless fact the tunnel is known as Scary Tunnel to locals. My favourite KBBQ is Let’s Gogijib (opposite the library above the Eastwood Club), 678 also has good quality meat. That closed dessert place opens after 3p-3.30p when kids get out from school. For friendly service visit Mr Liquor for all your wine and alcohol needs! 😀
Durian ice cream! Yessss please 😍
Haha of course Helmi can’t share it 😋
Nice to open the vlog with yum cha session 🤤
Did you only order 3 items at yum cha? 😆 Glad you chose chicken feets, so good! 👍🏻
Amazing video as always 🙂
Thanks sara😊
Local spot and with friends? That is the way to go.
Love the chicken feet, we haven't had any in a while though.
Chinese burger? We are very interested in this 😋😋 It kinda reminds us of a Mexican mix with chilli and ground beef! Yes perfect drunk food lol
Man you guys would be fun to go with on these food tours lol.. definitely gotta come hungry. Chicken feet, more Korean food.. lol good idea Nick, I'd follow the girls too for desserts 😄
Hahaha😂 yep just follow the girls
4 places is hardcore. We would need more people to go with us. Interesting to see how you shoot your social videos. We've been wanting to do tiktok but feel too old for it. 😂
Nice to see the Korean side - Chinese burger looks and sounds so delicious and love the racism not welcome sign!
Those Chinese burgers is something we want to try. OMG, the pastry shop! Those are so dangerous. We would order so much.
EW local here. At Noble House you must try their Baked Pineapple Runny Egg Bun (菠萝流沙包). When it’s fresh and hot the custard oozes out.
Oh yes thank you for the insider info! We definitely will do so next time! Thanks
If it is worth it, then you must get it.
We love Asian markets, and so many goodies.
enjoyed this video
Yum Ch is so goo and worth sacrificing calories for 😄
Have you guys tried the roast goose at the Taste of Shunde in Eastwood? I've heard great reviews about it.
So true lena💯 ohh never heard of it, might try next time together with the honkee desserts
Very pricey, I think $40+ for half goose.
They sell the turtle chips at Woolies. Tried the churro ones and I agree, they aren't that great
Yesss love how Woolies & Coles are now having lots of Asian snacks😁Gosh lucky i’m not the only one who didnt like the churros one coz everyone is raving about it online and thought i’m the outlier lol😅
Hidden Gems Food Tour with Local in Eastwood . Good video for watching. I support your video. Watched the video on May 18, 2022 very like. Thank you very much

I cannot find LeBakery online. I want to contact to know how to make the taro with egg. Ad I am living in Hawaii that would be nice to know. Thanks.
Haha 😂 umm im not sure , maybe you can try their facebook?
@@nickandhelmi I just emailed City of Ryde. Thanks!
@@freebeacher there is mobile number if i google LeBakery Eastwood hehe. Don’t think they have a social media or website page
@@nickandhelmi Too bad they could do well.
No need to share dessert, Helmi. Instagram husbands are a real thing? 😂 Nice.
Ahahaha my first youtube debut 😂
Hello james 😏
is fiona single?
minute of silence for red rooster
Hahhaaha why
@@nickandhelmi there used to be a red rooster there apparently that people loved but it is no more - ha ha
Ewoo Red Rooster was the best! It wasn't affiliated with the chain Red Rooster fyi. I miss the crinkle cut chips and the baked potatoes. Best chicken salt as well.
@@DK-ym6wh oh ahhaha
@@plumblossom44 oh hahah 🤣🙌🏻
