  • Howdy folks, going through our rebaling/stationary baling setup with our Hustler SL360X ‪@HustlerEquipment‬. We rebaled some straw this spring and seemed to work pretty good for us. Thanks for watching!

    Love the little moments you added in with your 'twin' and that shrug, the tp moment. Fun to watch!

    Pro tip: The best time to cut the twine or wrap off the bale is JUST before you drop the bale into the cradle - as it's hovering just above the cradle - , so any loose hay drops right into the cradle but you're also not fighting the weight of the whole bale to pull the wrap or twine away. The is particularly helpful if your bale is fully wrapped.

      We did that a at first but a large amount of the bale would drop and it seemed more tough to get the net wrap out from underneath. Would love to build a staging area like the simpco unrolled. Idk if it would be too tough.
      You run a hustler unroller? Thanks for the comment !

      @@hammerhayllc Well, full disclosure: I'm the Creative Director for the Hustler Equipment marketing department, but I've seen people do it tons of different ways. In cases like the ones you're describing it sounds like lots of UK/Irish farmers tend to cut the wrap off one half, then turn on the unroller, roll the bale over and take the other half off, but the twine seems pretty easy doing what you folks were doing.

      @@ChadKukahiko oh nice! I love the content you guys have been creating. A few new products recently too!
      Yeah it works for what we do now. Great simple machine and will work if we decide to start running livestock

    We have been Rebaling for about 4 years.....Bought a complete system from a Farmer that wanted to get out......T's unroller, NH 5070 baler, Bale Bandit... About a month ago we upgraded tp a 1840 Heston, and a Bale Baron.....2 men can load a 53ft enclosed trailer(36 21 bale bundles) in 2 hours.....

    • @hammerhayllc
      @hammerhayllc  Před 2 lety

      That's some awesome efficiency. You think the 1840 or the Baron was the most impactful for your upgrade?

      @@hammerhayllc I believe thr Baron would have worked with the New Holland.... But we also bought the Hydraulic Power unit so the side draw baler would have required some different hook up arraingments.....
