Leprechaun Vs Wishmaster | Face Off

- The power of a wish is an extraordinary thing. For some, it will push them to achieve greatness in their work or their personal life. For others, it’s your heart’s desire being fulfilled at long last. And for these two supernatural beings, wishes can be the ultimate weapon.
First up, this bad dude shows us that evil can come in small packages. He's Irish every day of the year, but the Leprechaun is not someone you want to stumble across on St. Patrick's Day. He has a penchant for hoarding his gold and woe be anyone that thinks about taking it. If you go after his gold, he'll bust out his lucky charms to make you regret it in all sorts of ways. Jennifer Aniston was able to escape his grasp and acquire quite a bit of gold herself, but not many others can say the same. If he's going to kill you… at least he looks like he's having fun while doing it.
On the other hand, Wishmaster takes wishes very seriously. Deadly serious. He's been trapped inside a gem for thousands of years. When he is finally released, all he wants to do is grant as many wishes as he possibly can so he can collect enough souls in order to open a portal to his home world. From there, the Djinn will overtake the world and… we will all be screwed. This guy has his fun by twisting his prey's wishes into a very literal form of what they are asking for. Spoiler alert: it never turns out well for them. But what will happen when these magical foes cross paths? Be careful what you wish for as we find out on… FACE OFF!
This episode of Face Off is written by Bryan Wolford, narrated by Shawn Knippelberg, and edited by Stephen White. But don’t let us have the final word - tell us in the comments which magical creature is your favorite - Leprechaun or Wishmaster?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this was an awesome vs concept. This would make an epic film.
I totally agree
Major early 2000's missed movie opportunity
Wishmaster for me but mainly because Andrew Divoff is fantastic in the role
Leprechaun "I Want Me Gold!!!"
*Wishmaster wins, flawless victory*
True
Flawless victory would have meant no wins for leprechaun.
@@HonorThyTarkus if there's a scenario where Lep doesn't go about saying "I want me gold!" Every 5 minutes sure...but I'm unaware of that instance. Whereas we know what Wishmaster can do when someone says something as simple as "I'd love to see that"
Big Lep fan but Wishmaster can exploit a fatal flaw of his
There once was a man from Matrass
Who had very big balls of brass
Along came bad weather
They both clanged together
And sparks flew out his ass
This is a good one. Two of my old school favorite horror movie villains.
So that's how they could afford those apartments in Friends
I prefer Leprechaun only because Warwick Davis played the character is nearly all of the installments (save the awful Origins and the good Returns) while Divoff played the character in only half the Wishmaster series. Both are great character actors.
THAT WHICH IS ETERNAL CANNOT DIE!!
"But if it's any consolation, sweet Alex, THAT HURT LIKE HELL!"
👍😜
I dont think the bite turned the guy from 3 into a leprechaun, i believe it was the blood mixing with his after the leprechaun got stabbed with a knife
Leprechaun vs Chucky needs to happen
Chucky needs to fight the puppets from Puppet Master.
I would love to see Leprechaun vs Chucky
@@garyhernandez2577 Leprechaun would win pretty quickly because he's all magic whereas Chucky isn't.
I've seen leprechaun in the hood. Chucky would get blaaaasted
Yes
Good match-up, loved these movies in the 90s
I’ve been a horror junkie as far back as I can remember. I’ve recently discovered this channel over the last week and I feel right at home
Same Here. I just Discovered this Channel Two Days Prior.
Wisnhmaster is very underrated
Indeed he is, a great series of just four films that nobody ever talks about strangely enough but they're all good fun and highly watchable so if ever an underrated horror franchise, this is it.
Most of 90’s horror is underrated Tales from the hood was solid, Event Horizon was dope, and one of my all time personal favs Necronomicon is an absolute classic but nobody ever talks about them I guess because the 80’s gave us so much in the form of horror it overshadowed the 90’s. I dunno
True, Wishmaster had just a total of 4 movies but Leprechaun got 8
At least theres no Wishmaster Origins movie...
The right man/monster won! Wishmaster is the best horror movie ever made!
NEVER seen Wishmaster.... front cover NEVER intrigued me enough!. I LOVED scarier looking the better!. I WAS 10+ ONLY. So I might check it out. Leprechaun was in same boat. My partner is IRISH...so... might NEED TO!!!!...
For me, this is the one fight with Leprechaun I really wanna see.
Victory of each antagonist depends on the case. I think Djinn has little chance of winning, because he is forced to use his limitless power only when someone asks him to fulfill a wish. However, given Djinn's sadistic nature, he can fulfill Leprechaun's desire in more grotesque and cruel forms, unless Leprechaun turns a wish against himself. For example, to make him freeze or send him to the sun, void or to any place in which Djinn will be in eternity. So what about the next crossover: Ash Williams vs. Herbert West?
now do chucky vs annabelle
9:48 Reggie Bannister and Buck Flower together in one movie!
9:58 Almost seems like an homage to Videodrome.
Next up: Pumpkinhead vs. Ice Cream Head.
Who the fuck is Ice Cream Head?
@@MikeyH84 for real like wtf is that, does he mean ice cream man?!?
@@ice9557 I hope that's not what he ment because that would be a very one-sided fight. The Ice Cream Man wouldn't stand a chance against Pumpkinhead.
@@MikeyH84 Clint Howard is as ugly as pumpkin head
@@ice9557 he's definitely no banquet for the eyeballs.
I'm just now realizing the plot hole in Lep 3:
The PAWN shop owner was bitten on the ear but didn't contract leprosy(?) and become a leprechaun like the protagonist dude 🤔
It's amazing how many horror shows have gone missing from this current generation
Wishmaster wins instantly! I have always loved both the original 2 Wishmaster films, 3 & 4 I don’t bother with! Instead of giving us another Friday The 13th of another Halloween film or more Scream films or more seasons of Chucky or Blair Witch 4 (which is the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard), I want a proper 3rd Wishmaster film with Andrew Divoff returning as The Djinn and Astron 6 doing the practical make up & gore effects!
Great face off, an I’m in accordance. Wishmaster takes it.
Wishmaster, without a doubt.
It's not even worth the battle.
*paused before watching*
Djinn > Leprechaun
That leprechaun film didn’t scare me as much lol
I am despair
Sorry but there's no winning, they are both so powerful and basically have the same powers
Niceeeeee
I haven't watched and I am in Leprechaun corner. Let's see how this goes!!
I like both
wishmaster
Wishmaster 1 and 2 are the best 3 and 4 weren't that good. Leprechaun on The other Hand He won't rest till he gets his pot of gold.
To be honest, there's only decently made film between both franchises, the first Wishmaster. All the sequels and every one of the Leprechaun movies are corny as fuck with some truly awful effects. Shame because both Andrew Divoff and Warwick Davis are very talented actors.
NOBODY wins watching either of these movies.
Between both franchises' original continuities, there are 10 movies.
leprechaun is better
Turn off your comments for stranger things Vs monster squad?!? Is that because people don't agree with you?
nah
