Tesla 19" Wheel Rim Protectors from Teslaunch

I participated in a promotion on TeslaMotorsClub.com and Teslaunch sent me a set of 19" Wheel Rim Protectors, they come with gray center hub covers and black lug nut covers. They are flexible and match the color of the Tesla wheels, the color match is really impressive. Sorry for the blurry images here and there I am a rookie at this CZcams stuff but I aim to improve over time. I took my Y through an automated car wash twice in a row and no issues, these stay on. I did a little hard turning and braking no issues. Let me know your comments.

Thanks for this video. So I understand this….. I too have the Scuff marks on my hubcap? (Sorry I don’t exactly know the terminology for the wheel parts. But I do know I don’t like that smashed and look when I scraped my tires against the curb. I too have a 19 inch Gemini for my 2024 model Y. So what you did will prevent that from happening? These do two things, First: if you already hit a curb without them, they are best at covering up the curb rash or scrape of the rims when rubbing up against a curb. Secondly if you install them and then rub up against a curb they will take the damage before the wheel rim, however, they can only protect so much. If you really scrape a curb hard your rim will still be damaged but just not as much. They are more cost effective than getting the wheel rim polished out.
