Watching this case today hurts my heart. A young man who defends his country & returns home to be with family to start the new year - but is killed by a cold, calculating wife. A young man who took each of his younger siblings in to live with him as they graduated from high school...to expose them to new opportunities. He comes home to cut his homies hair at a discount so they enter in the new year with fresh cuts. But this type of goodness is rewarded with murder. I pray his family is blessed and healed in Jesus name. May his mother & father’s pain be replaced with joy and happiness thru his seed.

I want to have some type of compassion for her but, it's hard. She stayed at her Father's-in-law home for nearly 2 weeks after the murder that she planned with her lover and pretended to grieve for him. That would've made me burn everything in the house. Cuz she's evil. As a parent comforting the person that killed my child would have made me literally sick to my stomach. Prayers for everyone involved.

Everytime they panned the camera to her, she was emotionless, until they played the 911 call, then she started crying! I also saw the jailhouse interview with the guy who shot Mr. Hassel, and he showed remorse, expressed his sorrow, and begged the father for forgiveness. It was powerful. This Woman was just twisted. Her whole aim was to get the $400,000 life insurance money, and she convinced the shooter she loved him, despite the shooter having a wife and another girlfriend. This case is so tragic!!
