i love it. onnnnne thing that stood out to me was the absence of the long "groooooooaaaan" when defeating the boss... wish it was still there. That said the boss damaged sound effect is a well updated one. referencing the old.

Everything is EXACTLY where it was and looks like it even plays the EXACT same way. I'm very happy this is happening, cuz this game is perfect to get kids into Zelda very young (I beat it when i was 7), but still has the depth you expect from a quality video game.
This looks incredible. Artistically unmatched. I just hope the challenge is increased when it releases and they made it this way just for show! If it’s more challenging it will be perfect!

At least people talk about how much they hated Skyward Sword motion controls. Or how "bad" was Zelda 2. Nobody hates on Minish Cap or the Oracles because nobody remembers that they exists lol. (And they are objectively better than Link's Awakening in every aspect, the Oracles are literally Link's Awakening 2.0)

Listen.. I think this looks amazing and I can't wait to play it.. But heres to hoping we get a brand new 2D Zelda along these lines. Watching this video got me so pumped up for a legit link to the past part 2 or maybe even a links awakening sequel, cuz technically isn't links awakening the sequel to a link to the past? So yeah hopefully that's their plan for releasing this, to create the next adventure after links awakening with this art style or something similar to it.
Most adorable game in recent years, if you have children be sure to play this with them, seems accesible enough and definitely has the charm to keep kids entertained. This and Breath of the Wild might are giving me reasons to consider buying a Switch next year so I can enjoy some amazing solo games and also play Mario Party and Mario Kart with my girlfriend.
I'm really happy. This is gonna be out so soon! I can't wait. Only thing I'm worried about is the gameplay. Back then you only had 2 item slots, you had to make weird choices when fighting. There it seems like you can have sword/shield + 2 items slots. I can see why the choice (easier difficulty for a better audience I guess) but still. I wonder if it will really feel the same ...

I really like this new kind of claymation adaptation of the artstyle from the old topdown Zeldas. It's very charming. Same with how retro some of the sfx and music is.
Wait so the sword & Shield don't use an inventory slot, you always have them equipped? I don't know how I feel about that, it's an upgrade but it's loses what made the Gameboy Zelda games different. It made for such an interesting limitation.
The sound design is really nice. I could listen to Link’s footsteps all day. In fact, I will.

Most of that is the video I think. This game shouldnt have any framerates dips, it's not exactly pushing the system.
