Little did any one know, it ended up being a great game with a rewarding difficulty curve, decent level design, and enough prequel love to please fans of both eras.
No one expected respawn to make an amazing game somehow just because EA published it. What backwards thinking
It had great level design, I hope we get a sequel with the same set of characters, obviously with gameplay additions such as stealth, (possibly blaster sections) and space battles. I think EA will give respawn the go for a sequel because of the positive reviews.

If they fix this in the game it will be awesome:
1. Dismemberment
2. Lightsaber sound more obvious
3. Enemies blasters shoot faster bolts(they look a little slow)
But it looks pretty sweet to me
Disney might be preventing them from allowing dismemberment.
Hopefully they have options to turn off the HUD elements or at least some of them for a more immersive experience. I’d like to be able to turn off the health bars above enemies and remove the little red target dot.
Jake Swick I’m pretty sure it’s a physics based deflection system so if they speed up blaster bolts it may be to fast for a players reaction speed

@@eselesser669 Even so, OP is making the point that the AI in the demo is being dumb. You kill one Trooper in front of everyone, and they all kind of stand around as if nothing happened at all. We're in an age of enemy AI where, in many games, the AI is able to take cover, flank, and appear to work together in their attacks. The AI in the demo appears more like cannon fodder. It may just be that this is from an older demo with placeholder AI, but Respawn needs to be put on notice that shipping a game (which is still MONTHS away from release) with this type of AI will likely be met with ridicule!

Since EA took the helm of exclusivity to Star Wars game development every single one of their products had been extremely flawed and disliked for some major aspect of the game. It was completely fair to be skeptical because of the producer at this point.

This game should be the thing they teach you in designer school when it comes to intuitive design. Seriously, the maps, the gameplay and fights are all very well thought-out. And that scene in which the train suddenly becomes an Imperial hallway as you turn around is to this day still one of my favourite moments in any videogame. This just feels like a good game all the way.
It's alright, has good visuals, level design and gameplay, but the story and voice acting on Cal's actor especially needs some serious work, hope these aspects are better in Survivor.
While I mostly agree, the maps and puzzles are annoying to do (and it takes so long to get back to your ship once you get lost)

He's unintentionally voice cracking on every single line and it's just annoying. the character itself is incredibly basic. And the story is a bootleg version of uncharted.
Fallen order should have been like Fugitive (1989), but they decided to make the most generic video game possible.
If god of war, dark souls 3 and uncharted are like ice cold bottle of coca cola. Then Fallen order is a can of warm dr.bob
It tastes like coke at first, but the more you try it, you start noticing the suble after-taste, the lack of real bubbles and it just tastes and feels cheap and not really good at all, so you just move back to coke again.
The foundation for gameplay is pretty good. They just need to fix the movement clunckyness and everything to do with the writing and Survivor could be pretty decent room temperature pepsi.

He starts as a naive boy with survivors guilt and trust issues and through the people around him (both heroes and villains) learns to overcome and mature while also letting others in AND understanding the galaxy he lives in.

During the trailers I didn’t expect much from this game. Looking back 2 years later, I’m sure we can all agree that it was an exciting experience with lovable characters and an adventurous story. Incredible Star Wars game!

In the final battle between Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan jumps up on to a small hill and declares " it's over Anakin, I have the high ground". In his arrogants thinking he can overcome this disadvantage, Anakin tries to jump onto the hill as well but Obi Wan cuts off his legs in mid air. Sending him tumbling back down the hill.

EA is just the publisher, the developers are Respawn (Apex Legends and Titanfall). I honestly don’t see how EA could ruin a single player game with micro transactions. Sure there will be skin dlc and maybe extra levels, but that’s a given for any game and if that’s what they can do for “micro transactions” then have faith

@@DayToven145 That can be explained with a bunch of reasons: one, only idiots bumrush a dude with a laser sword and psychokinesis all at once, it'd be easier to watch for an opening first while one dude preoccupies him and then strike. Two, seeing as these guys are the Empire, their only experience with a lightsaber and Force powers is probably Darth Vader. Meaning when they see someone who can do the same things Darth Vader does, they're gonna shit their pants most likely. Refer to Rogue One's ending scenes. :P Three, they're grunts for a reason, most don't stand a chance against a lightsaber without cortosis weave, so you can imagine why they don't want to kamikaze themselves to death. Or four, the devs understand this is a game and everyone attacking you at once is most likely going to get frustrating. This isn't FromSoft we're dealing with here.
At the end of the day, it's down to your preference, as there's no pleasing everyone. If you prefer AI that bumrushes you, good for ya. Play some Sekiro.

Cool ideas, good for an alpha, but reeks of Disney because of the lack of dismemberment and the clunky animated movements of EA. Good start though! Better than any other Star Wars IPs that EA has put out so far.

It had its mandibles around his throat but it didn't rip off his head. Random excuse if you can use the Force to stop a lightsaber from cutting you in half then probably you can use the Force to prevent your head from getting crushed. The Force can perhaps be used in other practical ways like if you have dysentery the Force can be used to clear out your system.
The Imperial Security Droid is basically Mr. X from Resident Evil 2.
