Normally I wouldn’t use those, but they’re oddly underrated, couldn’t imagine why among the framerate dropping catalogue.

It even better in edf 5, much faster locking time and since you can dash hop, you can reload while keep moving fast unlike edf 4.1.

I always wondered how this one fencer I played online with was able to move so fast. He used a javelin launcher to dash cancel with the blasthole spear. The more I know, now to grind for armor since I spent most of my hours grinding Ranger and Air Raider 😂

To be honest after beating AC6 I feel like I'm a better fencer. Damn thing is literally a mech.
hehehe... so much of the world has changed since me and the boys were tearing through 2025! back in 2014, you didn't see anyone but the most niche channel touch this and if so, only for 3-4 levels. now every youtuber and their mother is trying to get glory acting like a boss. when one (such as myself) have hand grinded 400k armor and beat every mission inferno and 4 person inferno to the point that you and your buds care more about how long you can keep you pal ragdolled in the air than actually beating levels that you've meta'd through your own efforts, you tend to forget how cringe you were every time you got a lvl 10 weapon. At least i get to forever leave my mark on the game after inventing dash canceling.

Hot take, but this guy (especially his ED5 version) could beat a Space Marine, no diff.
I used to abuse the dodge+jump mechanic of fencer and just having watched knights of sidonia didn't help

@@HalfSalvo i always die because im slow as a fencer on inferno, i cant call in anything or fly so i tend to be the worst as a fencer
@@votpavel This one knows not how to play fencer. If done correctly, Fencer is faster than wing diver and potentially even Air Raider's top-level vehicles. The easiest way to accomplish this (at least for me) is to have a weapon with a dash on your right hand and a Hand Cannon on your left. Then mash dash while holding down left trigger for the Hand Cannon.
@@votpavelfencer isnt the best at flying enemies, but the mobility is only second to wing diver. Sadly, fencer dash canceling is pretty frustrating in city map because you can easily get stuck unlike wing diver, if this isnt a problem, fencer might dominate in term of mobility.
For me though, it isnt a big problem, my only regret is i played waaay too much edf 5 fencer before trying 4.1 fencer.
It makes me feels nerfed heavily. fencer in edf 5 is simply more powerful in long range due to better missiles and weapons, much much more powerful in close range and able to solo eurginus easily, and not only much faster, but also more flexible mobility. And they able to reload their 2nd weapon set while moving too.
