The first one where the guy taps and taps and taps until the glass breaks is exactly what he was trying to do. He's breaking the middle piece of a glass sandwich to get that visual effect. He's actually good at what he's doing.
Yeah I had a friend who did this stuff for a living and I started working for him, first place we had we did a good job fitting a nice squared spiral staircase case... He then tells me some of the measurements weren't quite right what I fitted, I knew it was a lie because he helped me cut them, he pulls out this little flat head thing and starts tapping away, wincing, and I was cringing, it eventually cracked and my face 😂 he said I'd turned white lol this was an expensive job... then he did it to the next panel. By this time I thought he had lost the plot and started loading tools in the van, came back all smashed 😮and that's when he told me it's meant to be that way 😂 and it did look quite amazing tbh but I'd never like to be in charge of something so delicate haha 😂
I have broken dozens of panels the same way. The break pattern on the glass in the video isn't very good IMO, but the guy breaking the glass isn't at fault for that, that's on whoever tempered the glass. Unless that's how they wanted it of course.
@@dannynicholson50 The most interesting one that we ever did was for the cover of a grand piano for a performer in Las Vegas. For that one the center lite (cracked) lite was super tempered in order to get the smallest possible pellets for the effect that he wanted. The finished glass started as a laminated rectangle and then cut to approximate size using a waterjet. The waterjet took care of the actual "cracked" glass part as soon as the stream touched the glass. Once it was cut to size all the edges were polished for the final look. It was very cool, especially when they shined lights on it, and it cost the customer megabucks.
My high school electronics instructor, a twenty-six-year former Navy Chief, had an "electric hammer" like the one in this video. His demonstration of it in 1970 left a room of 14-year-old high school freshmen sitting slack-jawed and wide-eyed. Even the half dozen of us who lived on farms, and ought to have instantly called BS were taken in by the utter straight-faced sincerity of his manner, which I am sure had been honed over a long career of fooling hundreds - if not thousands - of young, new navy seamen. Thanks for including this in the video. It brought back a fun memory.
must to be said that the first guy broke the glass on purpose; it's a laminated glass, they used to do that for aesthetic reasons (quite silly, I guess, because the glass loose its strength)
A buddy and I played, what I refer to as, 'Cold War Hot' at work a few times. Broke up some cardboard totes into walls and used our air nozzles to launch improvised 'ICBMs' made of found material (or fancy Boeing cotton swabs). We tried coming up with an 'Axis n' Allies' game but we couldn't come up with a scheme. Figured V-2 for Axis but nothing for Allies beside using Air as 'Radar' to knock down the missiles, but that seemed lame. Then that became 'Cold War Hot'
Lol. I love these videos. Reminds me of some crazy times. He has the expressions down pat. I bet he would make a great character in a movie. The long suffering foreman stuck managing a crew of misfits and the boss's lazy kids.
The vacuum one has happened to me before. You're just moving around and after a while you notice it's no longer picking anything up. You turn around and find out that the hose is disconnected and you're just walking around like an idiot. The guy putting dirt in the bucket before transferring into the wheelbarrow is most likely a rookie who was told to do it that way as a prank/initiation.
I've been in construction for 20 years, these are some of the best.
The dude drifting the excavator deserves a raise.
110% whata boss.
The wheelbarow dance at the end made this video worth watching
I think they were replicating the almost final scene of Titanic the movie.
Yeah. LOL!
That dog is such a professional 😂😂😂😂
Nobody does the facial expressions better than this guy.
He is perfect for the role
Nobody steals videos better than this guy
Laughed more at his reactions than some of the clips
He looks like Sebastian from NCIS New Orleans
@@mikeymike1374That's funny.Ive heard others say the same
The pitchfork trick is actually awesome.
Until you had to do it for 12 hours a day like they did in the 1800s.
I was gonna say they had good reason
It has some real township worker energy.
Less energy on everybody. The only reason I came down to the comments to see if anyone agreed.
@@KallMeKris2Easier on the back of the guy with the pitch fork, especially with stones that size.
That system with the three guys pulling the rake and the one guy guiding the rake moving the rocks was brilliant
That's the way it's supposed to be done.
It's not some kind of joke.
When you try to do it alone, you only hurt your back.
That was my first thought. This is actually brilliant

@gregcorwin8316 it's a very fine art to get it perfect, I would never ever do this for a client haha 😄 😆 buy some stickers haha

Do the job you love and you will never work 😂
When work is your hobby, every day is a good one.
Who made that up, the communists? "No, it was the democrats." ...same thing.

The wise words of Confucius.
I very rarely laugh out loud at videos, but these broke me up! 😂
To find enough footage to complete a whole video you have to watch city workers for at least 20 minutes.
The first one was correct. It's a style where the internal layer is cracked while the outer two remain solid.
It also helps prevent people from walking into the glass.
I figured there was no other reason to bang on that bracket while making that grimace then wanting this to happen.
Yeah, I didn't understand what was wrong there. There are tons of videos of this process.
....that is the stupidest STYLE ever.
Great job to the guy on the technique.
But why would anyone ever want it to look like that in the first place?
The 3 guys pulling the pitchfork to move the rocks by the train tracks is kind of smart.
The videos are funny in themselves, but
It's the facial reactions that kill me .... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely!!
No one better than Rose on these OSHA inspector vids!!!
Who is he? I can't find anything about him.
Ya Gave Hime a Name....I like it....Mr.Rose it is...

40 years a contractor and some of these are actually new to me! great!
Those railroad rocks by design lock together and are hard to move. Their method for moving them is brilliant.
Omgosh, Love it Dude. We need more of this in our lives right now. Thank you.

Ich finde es nett, besonders wenn es noch feiner reißt. Und die Festigkeit sollte kein Problem sein wenn das Vorhaben einberechnet ist.
I don't care, I'm still making him pay for it
0:37-0:47. Normally, I'm afraid of wasps, but that was freaking hilarious! Those critters were stinging mad! It looks like he's head banging!
The dance with the wheelbarrow was the perfect ending!
Very good......love them reactions...better call osha😅😅
I don't know anything about construction working I just enjoy seeing the disappointment on this guy's face 😂.
I love these because I can picture my boss doing his expressions. It’s fucking hilarious
That excavator sliding down the ice is crazy. The momentum is insane.
That’s gotta be a slick ass road for an excavator to slide like that!
Adam you're the best, love your facial expressions. 😂😂😂😂
These are especially good!😂
Facial expressions are HILARIOUS!!!
He reminds me of Paul Giamatti.
Those reactions are 1 in a million 😂😂😂😂
The first clip.
They do that on purpose for the cracked look.

I just don't even want to go to work tomorrow.
Why not? Hill-Billy Bob & "'4 finger "Jack will be there.
The “electric hammer” cracked me up!

The first clip isn't a blooper - that's the technique used to make crackled glass balconies and bannisters.
Ok, everyone remember that excuse next time the Customer threatens you with court.
The titanic part got me screaming hahahahah 😂😂😂
Being swarmed by hornets(?) on he boom lift was pretty hilarious.😅🤣😂🤣
Идея, где вилы тянут верёвками, кажется не такой уж и плохой. :)
A few of those guys worked 4 me too.
At least no one was hurt.
Funny
This makes me feel better about myself.😂
When you're paid by the hour... The guy waiting for the excavator to run out of diesel so he can get in may just as well go for lunch.
I think the shattered glass banister is on purpose as a design feature.
Hilarious. I love this series.
I would love to have him as my boss!
There is endless dry humor in his face!

This is why work is never done on time and the contractor always tries to scam more money for taking longer. LOL!

The host is a nice person. You can tell because he tries to catch a 500 thousand kilo brick wall, and risks his life.
The electric hammer was great.
I'm convinced that now workers are acting like fools just so they can end up in these videos.
