I am a single woman and would like to thank you so much for such a detailed video 😊 You saved me so much money by doing this myself. I broke one nail but it was worth it 🤣 I honestly didn't have the egr gasket on right the first time so I did it twice...Happy New Year 😁🎉

This was probably the best video I’ve seen for this type of work. I was actually nervous about doing this myself, but after seeing you do it. I am confident that I can do it too. My dealership was wanting nearly $2,000 to do a simple spark plug job.

Thanks to all the automotive engineers whose designs have turned a simple operation into a complex pain in the butt. I've got 130K on the gold tip plugs and it still idles great. Until that changes, They will remain. Nice vid!

Great video, lots of detail witch helps get the job done right. One suggestion, put a piece of vacuum hose on top of the spark plugs while lowering into the chamber, this will help start threading the plug into the head then simply pull it of after a couple of turns.

Thank you so much for this video. This is the first video that broke down all of the steps into clear, concise, and understandable terms. I own a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cylinder and the information that you gave in this video for this particular model gave me enough information to be able to figure out how to remove the manifold on my vehicle and get the spark plugs changed. Now all that I need to find is another video like this that shows how to replace the fuel pump on my vehicle.

Great video.. Just Fyi for the new diyers. Be careful gapping the spark plugs to not break the tip on the plug.. Also it be better using a good spark plug socket that will hold the plug.. Dropping the plugs in take a risk of closing in the gap.

the only problem i have with this is never start wrenching out the spark plugs like he did in this video, you run the risk of breaking them inside, use steady pressure to crack them open then gradually wrench it out, not full on force like this guy did but otherwise this is one of the better examples on youtube of sparkplugs for a 300

So I saved this video to watch later when I was gonna do my manifold swap .(old manifold was giving me a p1004 and I swapped both runner valves and still have a code… got a new but used manifold to replace it )
So I shot it from the hip today and did it similar to this video and I removing the tiny spark plug boot “bolt” fell lol not in the manifold but somewhere in the engine😂😂😂 I’m like ughghghgg grrrrr 😤😤😤☹️I looked all over the engine bay , jacked up my car and looked underneath in grass and no luck lol 😂😂😂 so I just used a bolt I had laying around. That fit it so I installed it in the front so I’ll change it later by just lifting the front part of manifold…. No way I’m taking it off again lol😂😂😂
Also, I strongly believed the previous owner never changed their spark plug although showing me receipts from auto shops showing they did a tune up😂😂😂😂 bought it at 180k miles,,, has 210k miles and spark plugs looked like it was sitting in the bottom of a lake 😂😂😂😂 rusty af and huge gap at the spark tip wtffff ….. usually when I buy used I do oil change, tranny flush spark plug change etc etc etc…. But seeing how much work you gotta do just to get to the spark plugs, I waited 30k miles later to finally do them 😂😂😂😂😂 good video ! 👍👍👍

Extremely great video but I keep seeing people run the gap checkers through these type of plugs, DO NOT do that, sure fire way to screw up a brand new spark plug. It's a stock motor, no need to go checking gaps. Buy them and install them that's it. Use the right tool to check iridium plugs before you snap the tiny electrode off... and for goodness sake all you gotta do is pop the button on the wd40 can, it don't take tons to get everything slick and you also don't have to turn around and spray the other part that's going to go on the same thing you already sprayed too lol.

  • @jamar489
