Do you think the show will stay true to the book with everything that happens with Francesca and John? Let me know your thoughts below!
yes i think they would, the series tends to stick to the main plot points of the books. The main difference would be us the audience being more exposed to their love story. I imagine francesca's season will be on s5 or s6, then we will see them happily married for years before it all comes to the sad part. So we will feel it way more devastatingly.
I hope not. That would take the story line away from Polin. Also, we would miss out on full season Francesca's romance.
Bridgerton is the Kardashians in Netflix
I think in part 2 of season 3, Francesca gets engaged and married. Season 4 will focus on Benedict and A side story will be John Sterling dies. Season 5 will focus on Francesca remarrying.
5 will be Eloise. Francesca was married for 2yrs
yeah I think that's a good approach!
@@bukolaalale8260I don’t think they will push Francesca’s to season 6. People seem more excited about this couple/Michael more than anything.
@@getdownonit8753There's not much they can do with Eloise until then though, people will grow impatient, just as they already have with Benedict. As much as we love Francesca & John, they were both JUST introduced. And, as said above, spent 2 years married, having difficulties in getting pregnant. That makes for just enough of them while Benedict & Eloise have their seasons for the gut punch in s6 with Francesca's
@@juliag6126 yeah i think it'll be 6 unless they combine Benedict with Eloise which I doubt. They have the advantage at the moment of Fran and John being so well recieved. All they need to do is keep them as the B-plot for Ben and Eloise's seasons, building up their connection to the audience then strike when no one sees it coming. Shonda loves a good tragic storyline so you can be sure she's gonna draw this out and build it for utter devastation .
I think it would be good to see her love this season, her loss next season, see her mourning the season after that and then let season 6 be her and Michael's love story.
This way it will be well pace out and we can see Benedict and Eloise's love stories first and let her mourn John as he deserves.
Oh yes, a mourning season would add so much to the series
Season 5 can honestly be her season. The mourning in the book go hand and hand with the love story.
@@funkycrawler619 I haven't read the book but there is something so lovely about that. I think the way they have already established the characters sets it up beautifully. I am already imagining Francesca "finding/rediscovering" John's "gesture", the music scroll, as part of the story...
Oh dear-I am already on pins and needles waiting for Season 3 Part 2 and now I am dying for Season 5....
The books say that John dies after almost two years of marriage, the year is 1820. But season 3 of the show is set in 1815. So depending on if they get married this season or not, they might be married for longer than two years, maybe five. I think season 4 will be Benedict and season 5 Eloise. Season 6 will be Francesca. I also think that after five years of marriage Johhns death would be more devastating especially since Francesca struggles with fertility issues, After YEARS of trying she finally gets pregnant but then looses both her husband and the baby. Five years is more dramatic than two
Yep I think so too. Also Victor Ali and Hannah Dodd (the actors) mentioned that the showrunners want to make this as heartbreaking as possible so fir they to happen they need us to immerse in how much Francesca loves John so when she loses him it'll be an utter devastation. So yeah I'm inclined to believe we'll see them happy through season 4 & he'll die in 5. There's probably gonna be a time jump too in the show somewhere between Benedict and Eloise's seasons
@@africansweetheart9590 I hope theres a time jump between season 4 (Benedict) and season 5 (Eloise) bc I want an "older" female love interest. I know Kate was 26 in her season but in the books she was actually 21, and now Penelope is 19 instead of 26 bc her story was set earlier in the timeline
@@moritzmartini4132Oh same. Eloise's story is the perfect time to make that time jump so it'll be natural when she runs off cause she's a lonely spinster who's the only one unmarried aside from the youngest two. Cause current Eloise doesn't seem like she'll pull sumn like that lol
@@africansweetheart9590 the thing is in the books Eloise decides to accept Phillips after Pen and Colin get angaged and marry and bc of her now being the "only single one". But in the show I think it will be Benedicts marriage that makes her feel lonely. The thing is: whats the timeline and time jump then? Bc the time jump to Benedicts story cant be too big, but then Eloise still would only be like 21/22. I personally have the theory that they might change Eloises reasons to why she wants to marry and that SHE maybe offers Phillip to marry bc she wants to keep her freedom and gain some privileges of marriage life, like a marriage of convenience
@@moritzmartini4132 That's why I'm bummed that the show didn't stick to the book timeline. Why they had to go and mess with it idk. But yep you're right. They'll probably give Eloise a different motivation for marrying Philip but then how old will the twins be? Aren't they currently 3? But we'll see I guess
They had more of a connection without speaking than Colin and Penelope with a supposed lifelong friendship
I think Francesca season is either gonna be season four or season five of Francesca season because her husband is supposed to die in the book. He died this one season not necessarily.
My prediction, S3 Francesca gets married. S4 Benedict. S5 Eloise. Francesca is widowed in the end of S4 or beginning S5. S6 Francesca. S7 Hyacinth. S8 Gregory.
What I remember in the books is that Francesca is already married. John Stirling was already de*ad at that time and she is now married to her second child. Correct me if I am wrong with the timeline in the books. Thank you
In the books Colin and pen, Eloise and Phillip, and Micheal and Frannie all marry within a month of eachother. The show has bungled the stories quite a bit. I think Benedict will meet Sophie in the last episode of season 3 and then probably Ben and Eloises stories will be happening at the same time. OR Ben and Frannies second chance.. who knows. In the book Benedict meets his wife at a ball and then searches for her for 3 years before they find eachother again. Don't know how they'll achieve the same effect unless they split the meetings between seasons
I think it's important to know in the books, Collin,Benedict, Eloise and Francheska's love story's all happen within a few years of each other. True Benedict takes a long time to grow up and find what he's looking for, but for that matter so does Eloise, which hers fits into Marina's story line. I wonder if at any time they will do a time jump, as Eloise's marriage and Francheska's 2nd marriage happen only months apart.
Francesca and John 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Yeah they were strong this season!
The new actress who portrays Francesca is almost stunningly beautiful. Bridgeton's atmosphere and "reality" is usually about richness,, beauty, fantasy in settings, etc. sometimes it seems too much..like eating a whole box of chocolates. I like it overall as it is fantasy and pleasant escapism.😊 it is delightful but deviations are somewhat jarring and do not equate to the OTT that is being portrayed.
I was in the cinema crying screaming and then literally total silence and we were all laughing. Best experience ever
Sounds awesome!
welp this hits differently now that part 2 is out 🫠😅
If you could see my face at 3:58 “OH! So we’re turning into GAME OF THRONES!!🤬”
Knowing that John was her soulmate even after his death will be the thing that gets me over this tragedy
She loves him and Michael in a different way. She is different with them. She and John had puppy love that grew passionate. It was beautiful and pure in its own way.
With Michael it starts as a friendship. He was a soldier, he is a rake and she wants him to settle down and be like her and John. She wants him to find love and enjoy it like she and John do. She has no idea he is in love with her. They take long walks together and she always asks him to tell her something wicked (about what he was up to with other women and life in general). When she realises that she is attracted to him, it starts as a passionate affair ( not cheating on John/he is dead for about 4 years now) and they are like Kate and Anthony in the show. Should not be left behind the closed door without supervision 😂 Their love is more mature and complicated than it was with John.
Double wedding Francesca and Polin
Those two won't speak on it😊
Ich finde wir haben potenziell zu Fensterläden und John
Ich bin bei Staffel 4 folge 4
Aww book spoilers 😢
They are cute...I think
Did not like that story 🫣 it was very boring. Felt no connection 🥱 I loved the first 3 stories.
Anyone else highly expected some new fresh Scottish actor for Fran? I loved that she moves to Scotland and marry Scott in the book. I thought Scotland is diverse enough not to be changed. Its hard enough for Scottish actors to find proper work(((
But John's casting was an open-call without race specified and the required skill was someone highly skilled in conveying feelings without talking much which is probably harder for new actors to do. Victor is new to the TV business but he's been a theatre actor fir years so he had tge experience and chemistry with Hannah so he got the role.
