i liked that you kept your blower side pointed away from a neighbors lawn. when you got to the edge you went in reverse to ensure you contained the clippings to your work space. that was really considerate!

Edging overgrown grass on pavement is satisfying.
I'm surprised that there weren't any neighbors coming over to give you high-fives and offering you a cold one for mowing that overgrown lawn.
LOL, that HAS happened in the past. Especially women. They wave and I can see they're saying "thank you!" Then later I'll see rats running out of the yard I'm mowing and into the nice lady's yard and, well, good feeling's gone. lol.

I love watching these videos! Not only because of how great the yards look afterwards but because I used to do three yards with a push mower, weedeating, trimming shrubs, and raking. In fact to do the shrubs, I used a pair of scissors (and blisters riding piggyback! lol) until I picked up an electric hedge trimmer at a yard sale. I did not have a leaf blower so leaves were raked and picked up and bagged and I didn't even know what an edger was. I enjoyed it though and made the yards look so nice and I was very proud of that. Now I am 73 years old and cannot push a mower due to medical issues but watching you guys makes me feel like I am mowing, etc. once again! How much nicer I could have made lawns look if I had an edger back then! Makes me wish all the more I could still do yards! Thank you for sharing your videos. You will never know how much I enjoy them! God Bless you and your family

A neighbor was taken to Hospital by EMT's and been in there and then to Rehabb for 5 wks and He always kept his Lawn Very Nice.. but It got way too tall and over grown and his wife didn't know what to do.. So I and another neighbor Got /Rented a Stand Up Mower for tall grass cutting for $50 for 2 hrs.., hauled it over to Our neighbors place and with 1 gal of Gas can went at it.. My Neighbor helping had a Blade cuttin Trimmer and went with that while I did the Stand up LM.. I did the front and then we swithced and He did the side and Back Yard..It was about 2' ft high.. But No Weeds, they were just strating and we Got them in time.. While My Neighor was just starting the back yard, I drove back to The Home Depot and told them What i had to deal with for Weeds.. they gave me a More Natural Product ( 50/50 Natual and Chemical) instead of Weed Be Gone.. and for the Double Drive way weeds? Just 1 gal 20% Venegar and lemon juice in a 1 gal sprayer..
We also called our Pool Company to come out when he could to service their Pool ( Cost about $150 and she did pretty good keepong it clean and other things..
My Neighbor helping returned to Pressure wash all the Concrete before I was going to spray with with te Vinegar mix.. to help keep the Weeds from returning and growing.. and won't pollute our WELL WATER .. I told here we would return every Other Week when we mow our Lawns..But it will cost her! I apple Pie for Each of us! ;-)

I quit mowing neighbors lawns unless they ask and pay. Too many start to think you owe them and will bitch if something is damaged...even if you didn't damage it. Sometimes being nice can bite you in the ass. Now it's just become how to make my lawn the best and make them step up their own game.

I'm inside for 2 days, work delayed due to cold. -30 F at 6 am, -22 F at 10 am, now at 2 pm it's a balmy -12 F. Snow expected tonight (another 2-4") Weekend will be a "springtime" 45-49 F. I enjoy watching you go back and forth, it takes my mind off the shoveling/snow blowing/plowing season we are in here in Northern IL. He needed mowing about like that one just before a couple of weeks of rain hit and it was three weeks later that I finally got to it ! You can imagine ! Great job Mike !
