- Nothing but timelapse weed whacking. 30 minutes of it! From 5 different videos. Btw, I use the Husqvarna 223L. All these timelapses are at 4x so it represents over 2 hours of straight weed whacking. First time using the CZcams editor. I did the whole edit online from my uploads. And now I see that this neat editor is going away September 20th. Oh well. I used it once.

Fun fact: babies such as my adoptive daughter who were born drug addicted, have more severe and intense reactions to loud noises. We live next to an airport and found that exposure to planes on youtube helped immensely.

lol, no, no earplugs. I don't recommend anything I do though. It's just what I prefer.

I'm a female and I love doing the weed whacking. We have almost two acres of fenced in yard. My Hubby rides the mower and I have 4 weedwhackers that I put to work. I freaking love it. I also love using the pressure washer, it puts me in my own world. And no, I don't use a guard, I like the big open lines going for it
Cool! So you realize that you don't really get hit by debris with the guard off, if you have experience. Sounds like you know what you're doing and it's great that you love your work!
Do you find it works better without the guard? Obviously there's no clogging of grass cuttings. But do you ever get whacked in the legs if you hit something accidentally eg small stones or bits of wood?
Hi, Nothing more than with the guard on. To me with the openness I can clear out more grass. I do wear sweats tho, I like to keep my legs free of any bruises but I don't feel that I get hit more or less with or without. But it is so much faster.
The thing the guard is good for is keeping your line at a reasonable size albeit below the 7 inch no guard
Trim going around the house counter clockwise so you’re not throwing wet green grass into the wall and staining it.

I used to not wear eye protection either. That was until I took a small little rock to the eye ball lmao
I notice with stick edgers I only need to wear glasses if I'm trying to edge along the concrete but with regular trimming like hes doing nothing really reaches your face

He does that because he angles the weed whacker at the right position so no clippings shoot back at him, it takes awhile to learn how to weed whack without covering your pants/shoes with grass.

Nice videos! I have a question. Thank you for your consideration. As far as I see, you do not bagging mowed grass. After mowing are you collecting them or you leave them to dry? If you did not bagging mowed grass, I think they would become yellowish, which probably would be seen not good. Or am I wrong?
Not in Florida. Humidity and rain keeps this stuff composting very fast. It biodegrades away. Nobody bags here.

It could be just how he does things. If he’s extra short and needs that extra lift on the handle to keep the trimmer flat that’s what he has to do. I need to bend down to get my trimmer flat.

forwards against walls? do you waste some time cleaning the walls after you spray grass all over them? no eye/hearing protection? good for you 😂
But when you really think about it, forwards or backwards, it's spraying the same direction. Just a little different technique.
Something 2LookAt no if you walk backwards that does spray two ways
You should always walk backwards up against walls. In fact weed whacking should've been done first so big clumps of grass aren't left behind.
Brandon Shreve I walk backwards on walls and use the returning edge so it pulls clippings out and then mow so I mulch the clippings.
Its personal preference really but Id loose clients if I did it this way and didn't clean the green off the walls. Also whip, blow, mow, blow and go 😉

I don't know why........but I watched this entire video and it was relaxing and interesting. I have a new respect for the weed wacker/trimmer. I bought an electric kobalt 80v trimmer for a small patch of English ivy ground cover and watching you watch those vines on the fence gave me hope in tackling that patch. lol.

Its not sloppy, and you cant be lolly gagging if you want to get to the next lawn. Pay more for the well maintained lawn, and then the lawn business can easily do a high price trim.
I think what he means is the long clippings left behind after he trims. This is why I trim first. I know they say that in Florida the clippings break down and disappear in a couple days. Maybe so, but here in the Midwest, if you left clippings like that behind, in a couple days they’d be a pile of brown dead grass. And they’d sit there blocking sunlight and create a dead spot in your lawn, because they don’t go anywhere.
Meanwhile you need to hire him because you won’t do it yourself.
So satisfying just watching you whack all the weeds!

*sigh* I miss cutting lawns. It’s so satisfying. Unfortunately, my boss was cutting my hours and school was just about to start. So I quit and became a full time student. If I had my own equipment I would totally cut my lawn, just for satisfaction (and saving money of course). I give props to you dude, working in Florida weather kicked my butt. Its super hot with all the humidity.
